Disappointed with this visit . In the past the baked potatoes where larger for 10 dollars each with turkey . Also this visit the two orders where made by the female working on 9/1 . She left them on the counter . The other people working were basically standing around talking to each other while the food sat in the counter . Great Barbecue. I know everyone esle talks about pick-up but this is not only good for pick up but it is also good for dine in. The food is delicious. Amazing beef. Another thing that is good is their amazing breakfast tacos. They are not known as much for breakfast but the breakfast tacos are just as good as the rest of there food. We love this place, so much! They have THE BEST sweet tea (we buy it in gallon jugs for in-btwn visits to drink at home) and highly recommend all their meats (my personal fave is actually the turkey, ym!)! I love their sweet corn, and their brownies are pretty dang good, too! This is not a vegan / vegetarian restaurant - it is what it is, and what it is is dang good BBQ that is surprisingly good, coming from a local chain. We love the regulars, employees who've been there quite awhile and take care of everyone, but particularly the locals. We live in the neighborhood right behind the restaurant and walk up there sometimes with our dog (who stays outside); they offer a few extra bites because they love him and knows he loves their food, too! Just a great place, with great food at a decent price, served by great folks. Oh, and be patient at the drive-thru - your order is made fresh & it's worth the wait! Stopped by today and went to the drive though. Ordered a couple of breakfast tacos. After I paid they asked me to pull to the front door. I did and then waited 10 minutes. I guess they forgot about me so I finally went inside and got a refund. They offered a gift card for my next visit but I still had to go to a second place. Unbelievably horrible customer service. I'm visiting out of state, Oregon, very unhappy customer. I will definitely not return to this establishment with so many other potential restaurants (100's) too many other options for my family of 5 to dine elsewhere. My third visit to Smokey Mo's with different experiences each time. First visit: Family Pack #1 brisket/ pork ribs plus side of baby back rack. Everything satisfactory. Actually the best barbeque I have had in this area. Second visit: Family Pack #1 pork ribs/sausage plus baby back rack. Ribs great; sausage hard dry and trashed. Third visit; the one that instigated this review: Family Pack #1. Pork ribs plus 1/2 pound lean brisket. Requested baby backs as the meat. Was told that meal does not offer baby backs. I said that the menu does not reflect that. The cashier just ignored my comment and repeated that they don't come with the Family Pack. I asked for the manager. I repeated my position and he simply said baby backs don't come with the meal because they are sold by the rack. I again pointed out that their menu did not state that they were excluded from the Family Packs and he should honor their menu until they get it corrected. A shrug of his shoulders told me everything I needed to know as he turned and walked away. Take a look at their website menu. I also have a printed menu from this store. I bought the food only because I had family coming to visit and expecting barbeque. Ribs were not quite done. Brisket was dry and flavorless; cole slaw had way too much dressing. As soon as I got home I went to the website to verify the listing. After confirming it I went to their "contact us" and sent email describing the event. I have waited a full week for their response to no avail. I feel I gave them ample opportunity before submitting this review. This reflects a lack of concern about customer service at all levels. read more

Pretty dang good BBQ! Not as good as Rudy's (NOBODY beats Rudy's brisket!), but certainly no slouch when it comes to their marbled brisket and sausages. The potato salad gets high marks as well. Love the convenience of their drive-thru too. read more

Great sausage, and pork loin too. I've heard that who ever started this business used to work at Rudy's BBQ. The business plan, the menu, everything is very similar to Rudy's. There's also a young female employee in the kitchen area engrossed in her phone. There's also a guy cleaning tables.
