Being from Texas I'm pretty versed in smoked brisket. This place gives many places back home a run for their money! Good smoke ring, great flavor and they just added potato salad to the menu. The only thing missing is the pickles and onions, but the food is so good I'll keep coming back. Don't leave with out trying their cornbread or strawberry shortcake!!! My wife and I stopped in here after a visit to the Ohio State Reformatory. We both had the pulled pork, regular bbq sauce (they only have two: one regular and one Carolina style), mac and cheese, and a drink (water and Sprite). The meat was absolutely fabulous! It was moist, tender, and melted in the mouth. The mac and cheese was creamy and smoky. The water was... watery :) If we are ever back in Mansfield, we will definitely hit this place up again - highly recommended! read more

Awesome food. I order two pulled pork sandwiches w/ mac & Cheese, one w/ bake beans. A beef brisket w/the trimmings. Last but not least a full rack of baby back ribs. The sides are really good especially the bb's. Ribs are the best I've had in town yet. In my opinion the Brisket stole the day with it ample portion of melt in your mouth lean meat w/a complimenting amount of traditional BBQ sauce. read more

Visited this place on the way to a concert in PA last summer so a little late in reviewing it. We struggled to find it at first, but once we did it was fantastic. The pork was melt in your mouth good and the sauce was fantastic. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is in the area looking for BBQ. read more

First timer! Unless you did a little research, you might not now this place existed...location a bit "hidden" and not great signage. The food...it's great!! I had the brisket, which was moist with delicious sauce. Sides were good too...especially enjoyed the mac n cheese and cornbread. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Passing through town, stopped for lunch. Beef brisket sandwich and corn bread were very good. Tried a couple of sides, they were OK (baked beans were a bit dense and not much flavor; potato salad needed something to jazz it up). If I ever get back through, will try their trio (brisket, ribs, pulled pork). Doesn't look like they offer chicken. This place is by far the best barbeque joint that I've had the pleasure of eating at in the state of Ohio. I love brisket and their brisket is tender, juicy and delicious. Their ribs are also "fall of the bone" great. I'm not a big fan of pulled pork in general but the pulled pork here is pretty good. The sides are solid especially the mac n cheese. Their desserts are top notch as well. I tried both the Apple Cobbler and the Strawberry Shortcake my last couple of visits and I will be getting a dessert every time from here on out. They use cornbread as the base for their desserts which may sound weird at first but is actually genius. I would recommend this place to anyone and I go every chance I get. The location is a little confusing because it's inside what looks like a Chinese restaurant, but both establishments share the same building. read more

Best Brisket I've EVER had! They clearly do it right. Selection is limited but they do what they do right. Mac and Cheese is very good, baked beans aren't bad. Pulled pork is pretty good and if you like St. Louis ribs then you'll probably like them. Friendly service. Odd location but who cares! For brisket this good it doesn't matter. Awesome little place. Kinda weird being the entrance to a Chinese buffet but just added to it's uniqueness. I got the triple meat plate unfortunately no brisket due too a bad storm they had the night before. So I got double the ribs n pulled pork with sides of baked beans n Cole slaw. I'll start with the bad first. The Cole slaw just wasn't a fan of it I was hoping for the long cut not the dice. It was just average. Now the good the ribs had the house sauce, I really liked the sauce, the ribs were meaty and had a perfect snap to them when you bit into them, a few were dry and a little over done but that's the price you pay for slow cooked smokin. The pulled pork was spot on great. Great smoke ring nice juicy perfect amount of smoke to it. I got the Carolina sauce on that which was good but when I mixed the house sauce with it that really knocked it out if the flavor town ball park. Last but not least the baked beans spot on with the sauce and smoke great flavor wish I had some corn bread to dip it in. We will be back! If you are in the area and you love BBQ I highly recommend this spot. read more

Mac n cheese seems to be stove top but very creamy! Meat was juicy and tender but a lot of it was fat. Only wish they removed all the fat and replaced it with more meat. Overall good food. read more

Wonderful ribs that are juicy, the brisket sandwich melts in your mouth and the cornbread and banana pudding are out of this world. There also is a incredible alternative to traditional BBQ sauce,and it is nice and vinegary rather than overly sweet. Fantastic BBQ! Drove through Mansfield one night and stumbled upon Smokin' Bros BBQ as they were closing down for the night. The brisket and pulled pork were fantastic, but the ribs were above and beyond anything I'd had! Their selection of tomato, vinegar, and mustard BBQ sauces were all fantastic as well...I think I almost ate one of everything on the menu. The meat was tender, but the sauce was just okay. What knocked it down to 2 stars is that they're guilty of one of my biggest pet peeves: I don't mind when places sell cans of soda rather than having a soda fountain, but check your freaking inventory. I HATE it when I'm given expired cans of soda. It just shows poor attention to detail. read more

Wow...had the sampler. Ribs were fantastic,brisket was some of the best I have had,and the pulled pork was a distant third...but it was still great. Only two sauces but they were both very good. This place is the epitome of "do a few things and do them right". The sides are pretty average except for the Mac and cheese....it is fantastic! The place is nothing fancy, it is sort of hard to find (it is on the side of a Chinese Restaurant and the signage is tough to see). But if you want good BBQ, look no further.
