Hello, On 5/5/2025 around 7 pm I placed a pickup order for the location in the subject line. When I went inside the location My drink was on the counter waiting but with no straw. Usually there is a straw holder placed to the side for customers to grab. But there were none placed to the side, so I reached over the counter to grab one, but it was the smaller one, so I asked the older Caucasian gentleman with the bald head and glasses behind the counter were there any of the larger straws, he responded by saying do not reach over the counter. I responded suggesting that he put the straws where customers can take when leaving. He started to go into a whole speech about why not and I just walked out. I was very disappointed leaving knowing I spend my hard-working money almost everyday at that location and the one in Germantown MD, and I can't even reach for a straw. Not the counter where the register is. It bothered me. So to prevent myself from smacking the life out of him, I will avoid this location and suggest the same to others. read more

There were three employees when I walked in, two in the kitchen and one behind the counter. The other customer in the store and I had to wait until the guy behind the counter finished watching a video on his phone to take our orders. Seriously? It was only when he stood up to do so that the two female employees came out to make them. They couldn't have taken our orders, or at least told their coworker to put his phone down? Apparently not, because one of the women was dead behind the eyes. She refused to make eye contact or smile, and when she was making my smoothie she put an ingredient in I had requested be left out. The man corrected her but didn't tell her to make it over because he said she didn't put it in. But he wasn't watching her make it. I looked her and she gave me this look like do not make me make this over, b*tch. As I was in a hurry, I didn't but I should have because I had an allergic reaction to it. Now I'm sick and I'm out $8. What a waste. Dead Eyes, fly. Be free. Get a job you actually like. Do not put people's health at risk, and not care that you're doing so. The drinks were made wrong and seriously was dirty all throughout the restaurant. Worst one I been to. A pretty decent smoothie place - basically what you would expect. They have a very strong lean towards additives that supposedly have different effects (so for bodybuilding, or immune system improvement, weight loss, etc). Who knows if those work, though they do add a bit to the price!! (Around $7 a smoothie). I think I'm more of a smoothie "purist" - I prefer just fresh fruits and ice (plus maybe a dairy). But this place was tasty enough for when you need a refreshing beverage! read more

Smoothie King opened in the spot where Zen Tara Tea used to be. I miss Zen Tara but I do love me some Smoothie King. I admit, I ate half a Panera bagel today so by the time lunch rolled around, I wasn't terribly hungry but I still wanted -something-. Enter Smoothie King. I ended up with the Greek Yogurt Pineapple Mango smoothie, minus the banana, add vitamins and something else since it was buy one get one free. The staff were super friendly about my modifications and helpful with suggestions on how to make it the best smoothie ever. I got a medium. It was too much. I mean it's 3:55PM as I'm typing this and I still haven't finished it since I bought it at 1PM. It's totally delicious. But it's totally more smoothie than I need. In the future, I'll stick to the small. Oh and since they just opened they have some deals going on and gave me coupons for return visits. read more

I have tried smoothies from several different places and nothing beats Smoothie King! The smoothies are delicious and the employees are very friendly! I usually order any of the Greek Yogurt Smoothies (I like to switch them up each time I go). They are very refreshing (any one you get), especially as summer is approaching! Who doesn't like Smoothie King?! As an addict for about 4 years now I am ecstatic that a Smoothie King opened in walking distance of my job. It's a new facility, so it's definitely clean, and the staff has been great thus far. They provided my job a ton of coupons to pass around and I was one of the lucky folks to pick up a few. You do have to wait a few minutes for a fresh smoothie but I've had the pleasure to speak to a few of the staff members and they are super nice. There was one employee who didn't know how to use the register and suggest she brushes up on it as I couldn't use my points towards a free smoothie. Otherwise, they're great here. read more

The staff is very rude. After they misheard my order I asked if they could redo it politely, cause I know that can be really annoying, but they were very mean about it and told me to deal with it. So I paid for a drink that I ended up throwing in the trash. Even before that experience I'm always reluctant to go to this specific smoothie king because of the rude uninviting employees.
