Smoove were simply awesome. Price was much more competitive than another mover we used before. And over the phone, Travis was very helpful and informative. Another company claimed we had to have 3 guys and 2 trucks. Travis was confident they could do it with just 1 truck and he was right (for a 3/2 with a loft). It ultimately saved us anywhere from $500-$1000 vs a competitor we used before to move 2 hours away. All the movers were super kind and friendly and we're nice to get to know as well. Absolutely nothing was damaged during the move even a couple TVs were well padded with their supplies. I moved to a 5th floor of a building so it was a lot tougher than loading from a house where I was coming from. But the team was efficient and unloaded quickly. Alert! Alert! I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. Although moving is a stressful event I have never experience the lack of professional services by this crew. They arrive with no notification of their arrival (no text or call). Upon their arrival the lead did NOT introduction. I had to ask him his name. They proceeded to load the furnishings n had fragile boxes on the bottom with heavier items on top. Boxes with specific instructions (I.e., do not put anything on top was totally ignore.). Very happy with my experience with Smoove! When I called to get a quote, I talked to Travis. Their prices are in line with what other moving companies charge. I ended up calling Travis several times with additional questions and he was very patient with me. He was also very accommodating with scheduling. Three movers came to my house and they arrived on time to the minute. The day of my move was one of the hottest days of the summer so far, and I have a two story house, plus I needed the movers to pick up items from a secondary location. A horrific catastrophic moving experience. Took twice as long as they told us. Damaged possessions. Did not follow instructions resulting in a quagmire of issues for us. We have lost or misplaced items. Much of our possessions were delivered to storage unit and it is a mess. See photos. Items seemingly thrown in the unit without any regard. Loose items stacked on top of stuff not put into a box or container. Broken down wardrobe boxes with clothing fallen off the crossbar laying. Failure to use boxes for artwork and TVs. Two large TVs wrapped in plastic sitting on the concrete. Stuff at the new house designated for storage. And stuff in storage designated for the new house. Moreover the owner Karill refuses to take any responsibility. We were deceived. They touted their dozens and dozens of 5-star ratings. Now I've been told that people can pay for ratings. Wow! That makes sense. I am now reaching out to entities, insurance companies, BBB, governing government agencies to file claims but a cumbersome laborious task with no guarantee of any compensation. THEY WERE AMAZING! They took care of literally everything, we had a lot of random stuff lying around and they helped deal with all of the little things! They also moved our incredibly heavy fish tank, china hutch and 200+ lbs jade plant with ease. Smoove LLC is such an excellent moving company and I highly recommend them for your moving needs. I had made the initial contact with Travis through yelp and he responded promptly with the flat rate and the hourly rates for a 2-4 person movers. Based on my need to move a one bedroom apartment into a storage unit, Travis recommended a two person team, no more than 3-5 hours long. Their price was very budget friendly and the quoted cost was considerably less than their competitors. The entire process was very smooth. On the moving day, the two person team arrived right on schedule at 8 am. They were very nice and polite, promptly started wrapping and moving my items. They were very efficient and highly professional, wrapping the items with care and responding to my requests and concerns. I had bought my own moving blankets so they can wrapped the items and left them with the blanket on for storage. They finished within the quoted time frame and the final price was a lot less than I had expected. They were very fast and efficient, very easy on my budget. Smoove came through for me when I needed movers to help set up an event. Kirill was quick to respond and offered a reasonable rate. The day of the job he showed up a few minutes early even though the location was in Kirkwood at a venue in the middle of the woods! He got right to work, learned quickly, and provided a high quality of work with attention to detail. He came through yet AGAIN on another day when I messaged at 7pm needing someone for the very next morning because one of my own workers cancelled last minute. He also asked why I didn't call him sooner and didn't seem to find my explanation (that I was stressed and overwhelmed by the move and other things I was dealing with) to be acceptable. I also was hoping they would read this review and contact me; they read it but didn't contact me. He said he would discuss this with the movers and his manager and contact me in a week. He never did.
