I have a fear of heights so go figure...I chose to do this, but glad I did. With that said, the guides and the others in the group were extremely supportive, fun and safe. We rappelled from two rock formations: the first I considered the practice run; the second the real deal at about 100 feet. Be ready for a full day - we met at 7:45AM and ended about 2:45PM. A few of us from the group and the guides went to lunch afterwards. It was an awesome experience, am sure to do it again and would recommend these two guides (Olga and Carlos) for anything. RP

Made it up the smaller wall and we signed up for Flips & Tricks classes. The staff is THE BEST. My son has difficulty making/keeping friends and "doesn't like to talk to grownups", but he loves the staff here. As a middle-aged mom, I would call the coaches themselves "kods" because they are at least half my age, but they are AMAZING with my son. He "got hurt" his first class and yelled/cried, but the coaches let him have his feelings, got him ice, and taught him how to avoid that situation in the future. After only 2 official classes and 2 longer events, my son has more confidence and says that he "loves the coaches". Hopefully he will make some friends his own age soon too because they have the same love of literally jumping off walls. I like that they have 15 minute workouts so you really can't make an excuse that you don't have time to workout. What sets KEFI apart is that it honors both the spiritual roots of yoga and the physical practice. Classes never feel rushed, transactional, or designed solely as exercise. There is a depth and authenticity here that can be hard to find. Every teacher I've taken class with has been knowledgeable, thoughtful, and skilled. I've attended many different classes and have yet to encounter an instructor I wouldn't happily return to. I also deeply appreciate the care and attention that Angel, the owner, has put into every aspect of the studio experience. It's clear that she genuinely understands what makes students feel welcome and cared for. From the slippers and complimentary locks for the lockers to the thoughtful restroom amenities like deodorant and hair ties, every detail has been considered. The lavender towels at the end of class and the tea blends offered at the entrance (not to mention the non-toxic products for sale) elevate the experience even further. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful touches that make the studio feel warm, intentional, and special. There is a bathroom with a shower and other toiletries you may need. The only thing is that parking might be difficult? I've been lucky with street parking. There was one day where there was an event going on in the street with loud music so it was hard to remain zen. But this is obviously out of their control. Hopefully not a usual thing.
