From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, warm, and made us feel like we were being taken care of by a friend. His service was truly A++ -- always on top of refills, attentive without being overbearing, and perfectly timed when it came to dessert and takeout. What really stood out was his genuine personality. When we asked where he was from, he shared his story -- traveling far and taking risks at a young age to pursue his happiness. This place was pretty decent. They have coupons in local tourist books for a free appetizer or dessert, which is a good value add if you can find one. We went when it was almost empty, but we had to wait a while to order because the waitress was chit chatting with what seemed to be regulars. We got the steamed clams which was a good serving and delectable when dipped in butter. For entrees, they have decent options including daily specials. I wanted to try the prime rib which was tender and juicy. They also had a special of shrimp 3 ways, so we share coconut, blackened, and scampi. Those were all great. The sides were as expected. There is a small salad bar that can count for one of the sides, and it's a nice way to customize to your liking. The interior is a bit dated, but the bathrooms were nice and there was plenty of parking. For a decently priced dinner with a good variety of options for everyone, this was pretty good. read more

The salad bar was clean and well stocked. Just skip the croutons, they were stale and very hard. The mystery meat they advertised as Prime Rib was tasteless and extremely tough. The stuffed Flounder was dry and very bland. The sweet tea had an odd taste as if it were made with dish water. The cola soda product was the highlight of the meal. We were seated in one of the small dining rooms. It was staffed by 3 different servers. You can overhear different descriptions for the same menu items. Some tables were offered and served rolls, others like ours were not offered or served. The inconsistent service in the dining room and poor quality food we received from the kitchen can only fall back on management. I have not eaten here recently, but have in the past with much better results in food quality and service. I have tasted better quality meat from WaWa across the street. The prices charged are not commensurable with the food served. I have had a better dining experience at Chucky Cheese. I would not recommend this dining establishment. read more

The calamari was crispy and plentiful. The thickness of the roll, overpowered the taste of the lobster. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the girl's at the front desk. Both were very friendly and we were seated right away. We had a party of 6 people. Jeff was our server and was very quick to come to our table. He was very outgoing during our entire dining time. He took our orders quickly and delivered it as soon as it came from the kitchen. We would give Jeff an A+++ rating. The food was, well, so so. The presentation was nicely arranged on the plates but two of the dishes were kind of over cooked! The others really did not have much flavor at all. The dish I had consisted of shrimp, scallops, calamari, clams and mussels. The clams were cooked too long as they were very rubbery and almost to the point that you couldn't chew them. There was only 1 mussel in the dish and it was not even open so it couldn't be eaten. We traveled an 1-1/2 to dine there as the reviews all seem to be above average. It was our first and last time there. We came here on a Friday night after not being here for awhile. I had been seeing many enticing ads about how they updated their salad bar. We set at the bar and ordered drinks. I was pleased to see they had seafood specials for Fri & Sat and we both ordered the Twin lobster tails at $29.99 ($10 less than normal). My husband and I got the salad bar, and he ordered a baked potato while I ordered broccoli as our second side. We were seated at the bar and both grossed out that they kept bringing dirty dishes to the bar instead of putting them in a place out of sight-- or heaven forbid, in the kitchen! Yuck- not appropriate. Anyway we went to the salad bar which looked exactly as it had in years past, except there were new bowls and tongs! The offerings didn't change! When we got our meals, I had broccoli (which was nicely steamed and not mushy) but my husband didn't get his potato. It was when we asked about it that we found out that the salad bar now counts as two sides! So they gave me the broccoli as an apology for the miscommunication. The lobster tails were delicious and the side of melted butter was hot, so that was good. The server was pleasant too. I'm not sure how soon we'll go back though. read more

We were seated at a table in a poorly lit area. The music in the restaurant was terrible. The server did a good job meeting our needs. However the restaurant did not have two brands of beer that my associate wanted to drink. The restaurant also did not have an entree that my associate wanted to order. The server moved too quickly to approach our table. It was not her fault , as she was new in this area and just started a few days ago. I feel that the restaurant was poorly run , because we had to make a few alternate choices in our order. My associate gave the server some advice on how to conduct herself on the approach of the table. She did her very best to accommodate us. I place no blame on this server , as she did her best she was able to. The prices of dinners was very expensive. We had two entrees and two waters , and the price was $70.00+ for the check. Despite all the problems , I gave her a very good tip. Whatever happened that night WAS NOT HER FAULT I place all the blame on the management. The music was so awful , that I could not wait to leave. First he didn't have a silverware set on the table and took a long time getting them while the food was on the table. Two- He brought tea cup sized plates for us to eat our appetizers on. Had to ask for larger plates when the entree arrived. He was a pleasant and congenial person and a good conversationalist. 4 STARS Food- The food was definitely not the star of this meal. The appetizer of fried calamari was definitely frozen and deep fried in much to much oil. The broiled seafood had 2 of the 5 mussels completely closed and not edible. They should not have been on the plate, especially at this price point. ($43.00) The scallops, shrimps and lobster tail were overcooked and rubbery. The 2 clams especially were very salty as was the entire meal. The onion rings (1 of 2 side dishes) were fused together into one solid heap. Me and my wife came in and had a wonderful experience! The ladies at the front were very friendly and welcoming, our server was terrific and greeted us very quickly and brought our drinks out very fast. We saw her work with three other tables besides us and still gave us her attention and made our experience memorable! Rob the manager was very kind and attentive to the restaurant, he came and checked on us as well as the tables around us.We sat on the patio outside which was very comfortable. The inside of the restaurant itself is large and had a cozy feeling to it but it still gave a Poconos vibe. My wife had a seafood norfolk with smoked street corn that was fantastic. Her food was hot and very flavorful, I had a 2.5 live lobster that was cleaned with truffle fries that were the best fries Ive ever had (we've been ordering them to go) !! I went to this restaurant with a party of 14 people. Firstly, our reservation was at 7 we didn't get our food until 9:15. Our drinks until 8. Our family don't eat pork so they didn't let us know that certain foods have pork in it they kept coming back because the food had pork in it. I'm in East Stroudsburg 20 minutes from this restaurant. I called to be absolutely sure they had oysters, as it's been a while and I had a craving. Upon arrival I could see the bartender was extremely busy. I waited five minutes (which was nothing) and ordered my dirty martini and my two dozen oysters (It was 6:08pm and he asked if I had arrived by 6pm - guess oyster time dies then). As I waited, I watched the poor guy, Tony, attend to the almost full bar and make drinks for all the tables. And let me tell you, they were getting pretty busy. My drink is served and my oysters arrive. Absolutely disappointed. Gritty and not one oyster could've been shot and I had to cut them out myself. Not to mention zero taste. I ate them anyway. As it was time for my check, holding my credit card in my hand about 15 minutes, I got impatient and went to the hostess stand to pay and was greeted with absolute disrespect by the barely aged girl behind the stand. Don't know her name, but long dirty blonde hair and glasses. She was exceedingly rude. Oh, and the lady who sat beside me waited 45 minutes for her filet mignon. Ordered it med rare. It was well. She took one bite, said it was absolute crap, left it with her husband (who was waiting on his crab cakes - again 45 minutes) and she walked out leaving her over cooked steak on the counter. Wonderful experience! Being from out of the area, we were concerned by some mixed reviews; apparently we were among the many fortunate to have a positive experience. Our server was a real sweetheart and that always seals the deal for us. Wish I had gotten her name. Food was excellent. Food was everything we had hoped for. I had the crab pot. Plentiful and perfectly cooked and seasoned. (Just suggest they offer some sort of designated dish to deposit shells.) My husband had a steak and loved it. Owner or manager came around to see if we were satisfied with everything. We were very pleased that we had chosen them to celebrate our 45th anniversary! Been to this restaurant many times over the last several years. Service was always good and the wings yes the wings were actually always good. Overall the food has always been decent at best. They used to have fish specials and while never outstanding it was at the very least average or slightly above average. Things have changed and not for the better. Completely differnet menu, couple servers that i recognized over the years were still there and i'm not sure if it's new ownership or management or new chefs but the food has gone downhill and the prices have been on a STEEP incline. Why raise your prices so much and yet the food quality gets downgraded? I used to come here often but i can say maybe twice in the past year or so. Last time maybe 4-5 months ago. I'm not sure if i will come back. Not too many seafood choices in the area and i remind my parents when they mention this place how expensive it got and how bad the food was. I'm not paying damn near $50 for scallops and let alone every pasta dish is above $30. Firstly I ordered unsweetened iced tea...awful!! It was so watered down that it was tasteless. One of the sides I ordered with my entree was a side salad.....again, awful. The lettuce was soggy and wilted; the blue cheese dressing tasted like it had been altered. So disappointing. In the past the salad bar was offered as a side; it seems that is not an option. The atmosphere is fun enough. About what you would expect from a fish spot in Baltimore. Makes you feel like you're on vacation. Service is seriously solid, attentive, and able to answer any menu questions. As for the food, the crab and oysters were lovely. I got the french dip, and it was somehow still dry. Food and service were both great! Went there for an anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed.

Firstly, we got there before 5:00. There was two hostesses and only 2 couples ahead of us with many empty tables and it still took them 10 minutes to seat us. Our waiter did come quickly, took our drink order. He brought our drinks promptly and took our food order. However, that was the end of the good service. After our salad and soup came we ordered another glass of wine. The lobster bisque was the special for the day and it was awful. Our meals came and my scampi sauce was the worst I ever tasted. We were both done eating and never received the wine we ordered. We even asked another waitress to check for us since we hadn't seen our waiter. We definitely not be going back. Why are there no bus staff refilling our water, replacing used silverware or giving our sweaty servers a break? It seams like these servers are running around to tables everywhere. 5. I found this spot while looking for something for dinner. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. It took the bartender a while to get to me, I guess, because he was leaving. Nicki ended up taking over, and she was very nice. I started with the espresso martini, and it was good then I got wine. For my meal, I got the seafood Norfolk with crab, shrimp, and scallop with linguini. It came out and it looked good and tasted good minus the scallops. The scallops needed more seasoning. Also, they were supposed to put the seafood on the pasta. Instead I had to pour it on with a hot plate. Also the salad bar was pretty decent. Had a not so bad experience. read more
