We had a semi-dry, sweet wine tasting! Our assessments: 1. Maple - our favorite! I personally couldn't taste the maple as much but undeniably sweet, but not very that it's overwhelming 2. Brianna - smooth, not too rich, a close runner up to the Maple 3. Highlands Blush - taste like strawberry! Delicious! 4. Arctic Fox - cool and smooth. Wasn't a favorite among the group, but personally I wanted a bottle. 5. Riesling - still delicious, but no surprises here - expected 6. Aromella - very fruity! Looked like a family was running this place. The older lady who served us was so friendly and explained how they make their own maple syrup too! We bought a bunch and can't wait to try.

It really depends on your palette, and you have to understand that the grapes local to the area will not be your typical grapes. My family got flights, both sweet and dry. We really liked the 2023 Louise and 2022 Marquette. In fact, the Marquette was the best of the bunch from my point of view. The ciders were both really sweet, but the Eden Angeljus was pretty good and reminiscent of Mead. The Riesling was also a favorite. We got a cheeseboard for two, and that was freaking delicious. It came with a maple cranberry preserve that was out of this world. But the cheese, and even the crackers, were exceptionally good, too. Beyond that, the service was exemplary. Ruby in particular was a joy to talk to and quite good at her job. Finally, the live music they had playing was surprisingly good. I did not expect that kind of quality on a random Saturday in May. I highly recommend going to this winery.

We did one of the signature tastings and one of the sweet plus a yummycheese board with meat - very good and general amounts of crackers! We enjoyed the tasting, found a wine we liked, took home two bottles, and couldn't resist one of the candles.

The shop also has a retail space, and a monthly wine club subscription is an option. It is separated from the restaurant, but not a quirk of their shop, but archaic Vermont liquor laws. No grapes were harmed in any way at this winery. All were made with various berries from the area. I will admit that they have developed some very good berry based wines that are superior to the typical blueberry or huckleberry wine I've tasted. Still it's difficult to mimic a good Pinot Noir without grapes, etc. I could make a better argument for trying their ciders. I enjoyed a few of them.
