Construction inside. I don't think it's open anymore. Too bad, because she had vegan muffins.

My Petite Sweet, opens at 8 am so you don't have to wake up at the crack- of -dawn afraid of them selling out of items you want vs. sleeping in on your vacation. They close at 3pm so you have time on the way home from whatever day's activities you were doing, to pick up some dessert for an after dinner treat. My Petite Sweet is a great stop for quick, sweet or savory ready-to-eat breakfast items. The employees will ask you if you want your items warmed up and are more than happy to do that for you. There are several tables and chairs available if you wish to enjoy your items on-site... ...but THIS is where My Petite Sweet SHINES ABSOLUTELY ABOVE-THE-REST: Upon entering, you will be greeted by a HUMONGOUS refrigerated case that is remeniscent to me of the magic and excitement I felt as a child imagining finding the "Golden Ticket" and touring "Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! " My Petite Sweet has an ENDLESS array of YUMMY confectionery so tempting you just want to tell the employee, "I'll take one of everything," because it's so hard to choose. Most of My Petite Sweet's items are little masterpieces so beautifully decorated you hate to ruin them by biting into them! Once you do, however, you experience the taste of something so INCREDIBLY SCRUMPTIOUS you will ALWAYS make this your first stop when you arrive in Lincoln City, or perhaps even making My Petit Sweet your reason for traveling to LC in the first place! I'm glad I live 90 min away or I would be here every day to try something new. Of the many items I've tried, I have enjoyed each one! On each trip I discover a new favorite (or two, or three! ) My Petite Sweet's portions are huge, the prices are reasonable, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Also, don't be afraid to stock up on your trip. The employees pack the items individually, and they stay very fresh in the fridge. ENJOY!

The earthquake cake was fabulous; it was not a soft cake, it was very dense and full of rich chocolate, cream cheese and chocolate chips . It was extremely filling. The two women who helped us were very polite and very patient as we took forever to choose from their delicious options. They had a massive selection of treats. A true sweet-treat paradise. The ambiance reminds me of the old candy shops I would go to on the Oregon coast, which brought back fond memories. It would be helpful if, instead of a large sign that said 'bakery,' it had the business name. Nonetheless, this place was great, and we will definitely be back.

Appearance - The vibe of this coffee shop was fun with local artist featured around the walls and beachy parifinalia scattered throughout. Taste - The bagels were amazing! We ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a cheddar bagel and a smoked salmon cream cheese on a jalepeño cheddar bagel. The bagel's were fresh and soft. They must have been baked in house! The salmon cream cheese was packed full of salmon. The drinks were also exceptional. The vanilla chai latte was flavorful, but not too sweet. It was easy to tell that the chai was homemade. The Mayan mocha was possibly one of the best specialty coffees I have ever had. The chocolate was accented with a bit of cinnamon which rounded out the South American flavors of the drink. It was a warm day so I went for an iced coffee, however I think it could have been even better warm.

They have such a large selection of coffee/hot drinks; food options; and fridges with great items. The baristas are extremely patient and ready to answer questions about the menu. The shop of boutique items always has the cutest things of great quality. In the back they also have discounted items! The decor and seating is perfect to stay awhile and relax. We of course love that well behaved Daisy can go in, get some attention and chill at our side.

The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. That one hits like a perfect riff at just the right moment. Sweet, rich, and laid back in all the right ways and like it knew exactly why you showed up. They've got fresh baked goods dialed in too and this is their thing, and you can taste it in every bite. Service? Kinda like a wandering solo... not always in sync, not always warm, but hey the music (aka the food) keeps the whole thing together. In the end, it's one of those places you stumble into and remember later with a smile. If the road ever brings us back through Pacific City, we'll swing by again and let it play on.

Our boys looked forward to it when they were 8, and they still look forward to it now that they're in their 20s. The scones are amazing--the savory ham & cheese is our favorite--and the breakfasts are a good way to start the day. There is sometimes a wait (esp on weekend mornings in the summer) but it's worth the wait. You can also get their scones and baked goods to go from their counter, so if you see a line, don't let it scare you from going in to see if there's a table! Usually very nice servers and everyone seems friendly and relaxed. Hard to be uptight with the laid back vibe of The Grateful Dead all around. I don't know why I never thought to review it before, but Grateful Bread is an integral part of our annual beach trip!

It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!
