She was patient, welcoming, and took her time walking us through the menu--explaining each dish, how it's prepared, and what makes everything unique. Her commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. She mentioned that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. Management should know what an asset they have in her. My wife ordered the Mago BLT Frita, beans (similar to refried), and a side of three croquetas--and she couldn't stop talking about how incredible everything tasted. I went with the Frita Tradicional and the pea soup of the day. We had never tried a Frita before and honestly didn't even know what to expect, but everything was delicious. The pea soup and the croquetas were real standouts--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation makes such a difference. I had the traditional and the hubs had his "Al caballo" which means it has a fried egg on top. If you don't know what a frita is-- imagine a smash burger but made into a perfect patty and with a blend of Cuban spices topped with your choice of tomato, lettuce, a fried egg, it always with potato sticks on top for crunch beautifully wedged in between to pieces of the best bun you can imagine. THAT is a frita. It's an experience and this is the place in which to experience it. It totally hit the spot and more than satisfied a long time craving. Best thing I've eaten in a while!!!
