Had three families meeting at the same time and wanted a table together, all but 3 of 9 people arrived they said that the whole group needed to go to the end of the line or just take the table for 6. Not willing to move tables or accommodate in any way. Clearly very busy so customer service not a big concern. Very nice service. We opted for indoor seating even in Corona era, because very high heat (for Jackson Hole). This is a large industrial looking building on the outskirts of downtown, so it has lots of room for coronavirus distancing. I should note at the outset that Jackson claims to be dog-friendly, but this,like most places, has a large anti-dog sign at the entrance (even the parks prohibit dogs, generally has an atmosphere of a very anti-canine town. But enough about the town in general). We ordered bison burgers and beer. Also some iced tea (tasty, with jasmine). Jenny Lake lager was fine and the bison burgers were excellent. They are too large to gracefully bite (my mother taught me not to split infinitives, but oh well). Your choice of cheese (I had the gruyere) and fries or sweet potato fries. Prices are high in Jackson, but this place is lower than many. read more

My husband and I had a great late lunch at this brewpub. While prices aren't cheap, the portions are good sized, with enough for leftovers. There are several $9 lunches to choose from; we ordered the chorizo-mac. There was an amazing combination of spices in the chorizo, a perfect cheese sauce and crunchy bits of panko and green onions with perfectly cooked rigatoni. The beers were excellent as well. Great place for an informal meal indoors, plus in good weather there's an outdoor seating area. We'd definitely go back for more! read more

After a full day in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, this was a great stop! The place was so chill and the staff was very inviting. Elliott was our server and was so friendly and overall an awesome guy. He made some amazing recommendations for food and beer and we were not disappointed! We had the fish n chips, chili, house-made chorizo salad, beef tacos, and the wild game pasta. Hey he sampler for the beers was good too! Great find in Jackson WY. We stayed in the are a few days and ended up eating here twice. We got a variety the first night including pizza, nachos and the bison burger. We settled on the Jenny Lake Lager to drink and is was a great choice, it is a very good beer. We went back a few nights later and all three of us got the bison burger because it was that good. We got some of the Jenny Lake lager to go afterwards too. read more

While visiting the Grand Tetons/Jackson Hole area we met some locals who recommended snake river brewery. Immediately upon arriving we noticed it was a fun place with corn hole boards and seemed to be family friendly. I do not drink beer so I can't comment on that portion other then my friends really enjoyed a sour they had and a pineapple flavored beer. I had the bison burger with horseradish mayo that was very tasty. I got sweet potato fries that were also good. Additionally in my gluttony I added the bison chille. I'd say the number one thing was the bison burger and I would reccomend that to anyone. The service was excellent. The server was nice, friendly attentive and helpful. We sat outside at picnic style tables with umbrellas to enjoy the weather. There is also a upstairs out door area and a indoor area to sit. This place is definitely worth a try. read more

Showed up on a Saturday around 1. We waited a few to be seated but that's because someone came in asking for a table/spade for 30. They handled it extremely well despite the fact it was already busy. We were able to get our table for 2 right away. Beer options were great. We ordered the bison burger and their pork and peach pizza. Both were delicious! We really enjoyed our lunch here. The servers were busy but we always got what we needed in a timely fashion. They had a bunch of college games on. We will definitely be coming back during our stay or next time we visit! read more

I don't know what is happening in town, but early August the whole city seemed incredibly busy. We decided not to wait an hour to be seated for dinner here and got takeout elsewhere as well, however the following day (a Monday) we were able to walk right up and be seated for lunch around noon. The outdoor seating spaced out by way more than 6 feet, we felt very comfortable. We had their amber beer which was delicious and refreshing. I specifically came here because I wanted to try a bison burger while visiting Wyoming. The burger and the sweet potato fries were great! Great environment, great food, and very reasonably priced. Nice little spot for food and beer. They have a lunch special menu and the portions are a good size (5 of us couldn't finish our plate) and the beer was very tasty! The bison burger was a slight disappointment. Meat was a little on the dryer side (we asked for medium since that's what they recommended) and the bacon wasn't crispy. Maybe this is unfair because I automatically dropped Snake River Brewery half to one star when we walked up to their front outdoor patio area and there was a sign saying no dogs allowed... No dogs on the patio at a brewery??!! Granted it is winter and no one is sitting outdoors, this seems absurd, particularly if it was a nice summer day. Even the high top tables in the bar area are table seating, so make sure to check in with the hostess. Our server was extremely friendly and there were plenty of fake ID jokes when we all showed our out of state IDs. Pitchers are $16 if you can all agree on one beer. Otherwise pints are $5. I got the Zonker stout, which was crisp and light for a stout, chocolatey and caramely - so delicious. Unfortunately mine was poured from a can as their nitro was down for the month. I found the menu to be confused in it's identity, but that didn't impact the taste of the food. There were Asian inspired things like Szechuan wings and hot pot, but then the usual bar type food - nachos and burgers, then flat bread type pizzas and "fancier" pastas as well. For the table, we ordered nachos with added chicken. I particularly loved the fried corn tortillas, they definitely taste and feel homemade - almost pita chip in thickness. What was a bit irritating was that the toppings were not all piled on together, so to get some guacamole and salsa, you have to scoop on one side then move to the opposite side to have everything on one chip. I had the chorizo and leeks pizza which was fantastic. I loved the mazto-bread-like crust, flat as can be and with a bit of crunch and bite. The chorizo, leeks, and basil flavors were fantastic as well. Overall very happy with the beer and food. What surprised me were the gender neutral bathrooms, too bad they only had two single stalls so the wait can be long. read more

You can't go wrong with anything, its all good. Beautiful outdoor dining area too. Lovely gardens. So I've actually been here at least 4 times now & am shocked I haven't reviewed it yet. This time was with Mom & Dad and an Aunt & Uncle in 2 visits. Mom, Dad & I came for lunch & a beer while Auntie was at the hospital getting a checkup. We scored on the $7 lunch deals that are available til 3pm. Mom had the chicken salad sandwich. YUM!!! Dad had the BLT. Good, But it would be better with different bread instead of the huge hoagie roll. I had the turkey pesto wrap. Also good but would be better with no tomato in it. Hate having to pay extra for french fries so I stuck with the potato chips. Mom's meal was missing the salad dressing for the salad so had to flag down a server. Paco IPA tasty but I've had better IPA's. Mom loved her Stout but I think it would be better with a burger than chicken salad. Came back later in the day with Aunt & Uncle so they could get a bite to eat too. Mom, Dad & I weren't very hungry but split some nachos so A & U wouldn't be eating alone. Nachos were adequate but nothing spectacular. Aunt had the mac & cheese and it looked delicious!!! She didn't like the pickles in it but they were easy enough removed. Uncle had the Sausage pizza and as mentioned in other reviews the crust is too thin & crackery. :( Would go back here in a heartbeat. read more

Came in late and our service was still great I thought we had a short time to drink one beer but we were told that they will stay open late if people are still ordering. I had the monarch pilsner which was great then had a few samples and got educated about their nitro beer. Had the nitro zonker which was amazing they may have introduced me to the best nitro beer I've ever had. It was also close to our hotel which was nice to just walk on over. The Beet Salad had non cohesive flavors with the added thick cut chopped bacon and grapefruit. This is also traditionally a vegetarian dish. This kitchen should really taste the food they are trying to create. The Bison Burger was very good and the Bison chili. The cornbread with the chili is very dry and dense almost inedible. The staff was very nice. The ambiance is very industrial. The tables are close together, you may as well be sitting with the table next to you. I came here one night while on vacation and it was such a treat. We had a little bit of a wait but were lucky to be seated upstairs since it got pretty cold outside even though they had heaters. Our waiter was very helpful and offered great suggestions. We ordered the Trout which was delicious and the steak tacos which were also superb. Beer is great, food, not so much. Ordered fish and chips and the menu description versus reality couldn't be further apart. The fish was so over cooked it was nearly inedible. To treat "fresh caught" fish this way is just wrong. The fries were ok, nothing special, and the cole slaw was mediocre at best. We have been in Jackson 4 times this summer, and this place is always packed. We wanted to give it a go, especially hearing that their pizza was king. We tried out the pretzel bread appetizer- very good queso!! Bison burger was good, shrimp nachos were very good. Our issue was service... the waitress was slower than slow. She even asked for our order, then went to the top of the deck and looked around for a few minutes before putting it in. Frustrating for us, as we were trying to get into the park, and let her know. Got a seat pretty quickly with just my buddy and me. After a long day visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, this seemed to be one of the few spots open late in Jackson. The Jenny Lake Lager was nice and smooth, and our waitress was really nice as well. I got the Wild Game Ragout which had some unique meats (to me) and which sounded interesting to try. The texture of the meats was certainly different from what I was used to (not a bad thing), but the overall dish was bland and needed to add a good amount of salt for some flavor. The atmosphere was really chill with a bunch of activities going on outside, but either I'll have to try a different plate, or the food here isn't that great. read more

This place was amazing! Can't give enough stars. We were told an hour wait when we arrived. Sat outside in the seating area, and were called 20 minutes later. The three of us split a big bowl of the Bison & Beef Chili. It was amazing. I could've eaten the whole thing. It also came with great cornbread. I can't emphasize how good the Big Hole Burger was! It also came with great, thick-cut fries. We had great service and the food was quick to come out. The only downside was just that it was a bit noisy inside with many tables and the bar packed into a small area, but overall this is a very minor complaint as every other aspect of the visit was great.
