Relaxed vibe, family friendly. Food was REALLY good! Played a card game with the kiddos and had the nachos. Burger looked amazing too.

But I didn't come for the cuteness of the pups, we came for the food lol. I have the chicken tacos and the fry flight. My son had the poodle dog with grilled onions and peppers with cheese sauce. He said it was very good wish I'd gotten him two. The guys who helped us were really nice guy's. The service was a bit of a wait, when we first came they told us it would be a 30 minute wait because the kitchen was a little backed up. Would come back to try some other things, the fry's were pretty good. I didn't really care for the chicken tacos. They were kinda just thrown together. But overall I'd come again.

When I arrived I walked to the back, and it was a cute setup for all our little furry friends to have fun, but for adults and kids to. There were lawn chairs, picnic tables, games, a side for leashed and unleashed dogs, and even a little wet area for the pups. It was also a bar/restaurant where you could eat inside or outside. The dogs aren't allowed in the inside part of the restaurant. The restaurant has hot dogs, sausages, Mac n cheese, burgers, tacos, and etc. The meals are reasonably priced. The hot dogs are thick, so your not getting a wimpy hot dog, it's meaty!! Lol. It might have been too much meat for me almost. You definitely get your money's worth!! The Mac n cheese was pretty good and cheesy, and the portion was great for the price. The fries we ok also. The area is really a vibe. It's chill and everyone is doing their own thing. They even have pup cups!! The dogs all seemed to be having a good time. When you walk in the smell of dogs hits you, but I don't have a dog so maybe that's why it's so strong. If you have a dog you probably won't even notice. Once I got used to that, it was fine. I think this is a fun little place to come wether you have a dog or not. Beer and alcohol are also served. The cocktails seem fun. My friend liked her spicy mango drink. The staff was also friendly! So yeah, check them out!!!!

The drink menu options had some cool names for the speciality drinks. I tried their Aries SZN that was sweet and more on the tart side if you like that combo I would recommend it. Food options were endless with classic food to your going out food I did there girl dinner which comes with a Caesar Salad truffle fries with a Diet Coke or coke all for $25 that right there a perfect combo for something to have after or before night out or to just evening bite. Our server was excellent with telling us what options would be a good choice and he also mentioned if we had any allergy or allergies to anything to make sure it was prepared right which to me is always a good thing to be ask. My favorite part was the view of the garden it just added a sweet touch to while you are enjoying some good food and company and it the food was delicious and well prepared I will definitely recommend this if you are nearby the oceanfront I would come visit it and request for outdoor seating if you want to see the garden and take some pictures and lounge eat and drinks some good food that made fresh and prepared very good and drinks that are well crafted this the place to go to.

Arrived around 6:30 and were able to get a table but it filled up fast. Host noted we were probably new bc Tuesdays were usually familiar faces; love to hear that locals love a place too! We ordered the Buffalo Mushrooms as a starter and let me tell you, it's worth the hype. The crunch on these things is legendary. The sauce is a little spicy but it won't blow your palate out. Also the portion is enormous. We wanted to save our appetite for our mains but just kept eating them. We got the monthly special burger which was the kimchi burger with Brussels sprouts on the side and a wagyu meatball sub with fries. Dear lord that burger! I am trying to remember another burger that I loved this much. The kimchi was cooked down into a bit of a compote which melded with the cheese and gochujang perfectly, the patties were crispy as hell! The bun added a perfect sweetness. I told the server it was "stupid". I almost cried. This can't even capture just how good the food was. I'm sorry. The Brussels sprouts were a little understated, kinda like creamed spinach at a steakhouse. They were delicious but overshadowed by other menu items. The meatballs were spicier than we expected, so if you like a spicy meatball, get after it. The best thing about the sub was the pesto sauce on top, which added a nice green brightness to what was an otherwise heavy sandwich. Good luck picking this monster up, we needed to resort to knife and fork! The fries were on point. Whoever is running the frier at Esoteric has the temp dialed in. I wish we had room for dessert but we were already bagging up most of the sub and fries. The portions here match the prices. Would love to eat outside here when it's a little warmer. If you are looking for a cute spot in the vibe, don't miss Esoteric. We for sure will be back.

They are just south of where Holland Rd. merges into Independence Blvd. My most recent visit here was on April 23, 2026. From the outside of the business, it does stand out a bit with the large name above the entrance. You can definitely see it if you look from Holland Rd. I had seen it too when traveling down that road, but I finally came in for the first time on March 10, 2026 after leaving the Voter Registrar's Office not too far from there. Upon entering, it wasn't too busy yet, but it was a little before 4 pm, so it was still early for the evening dinner rush. The inside of the place definitely has the bar scene vibe with the bar area and televisions showing sports there, with closed captioning on. One of the bartenders said we could find a spot to be seated. My mom and I went to one of the booths available. It was just seconds later that our server came over, welcomed us here, bringing menus over, and introduced herself. The first question is always asking about what to drink. I continue to go with my usual, which is water with lemons, while my mom got Coke. After having some time to look over the menu, when we got our drinks, my mom and I were both ready to order. I decided to go with the Sloppy Joe Samich with Onion Rings as the side item, but subbing Pepper Jack Cheese instead of American Cheese. My mom decided to do an appetizer as the main course, which was the Loaded Nachos Half Size Portion. A little less than 10 minutes later, our food orders came to the table, and they looked really good, and when we went to try it out, they were definitely hot too. The Sloppy Joe Samich ended up being really good and hit the spot for me. The onion rings were good too, and were a bit of an indulgence for me. My mom really liked the Loaded Nachos and that had good flavor to it as well. Our server also told us about various specials they have through the week, so this would warrant future visits for us too. The next few visits would be on Thursdays, as they have a $7 Burger Night Special beginning at 5 pm. For those next visits (including the most recent one, except for the April 6 visit), I would end up getting the Bacon Cheeseburger With Fries (additional cost to change the side item for specials). My mom also did a few types of burgers on these visits, one being the Cowboy Burger. Every time, the burgers came out as expected and hot. The fries were really good too, as I usually do pepper on them instead of salt. There was one additional visit on April 6th, which was a Monday. We came in that day for the Fried Shrimp Basket Special. That one comes with Fried Shrimp and Fries, and is available all day. The shrimp were really good and filling too. Overall, the food, service, atmosphere, and specials have been great here. I really feel like they are a hidden gem. When it comes to sodas, they did carry Coke products, but as of the middle of April 2026, they are now serving Pepsi products. I want to note that there is a 3% order processing fee, likely for anyone paying by a card instead of cash. Even when I have been there at busier times, parking was never an issue. It feels like a family atmosphere too. On the most recent visit, they even stated that they notice us as regulars here now. If you're looking for a different place that serves more than just burgers, this place is worth checking out, as I have not seen a place around yet that has the Sloppy Joe type samich.

I love corned Beef & Cabbage. Theirs was perfect. Served with whipped potatoes and whole carrots. I asked our server if the potatoes could be substituted for a double order of cabbage the next time and she said she was sure it could but may have a little extra charge. My Friend chose Jagerschnitzel. A German dish consisting of hand-flattened, fried pork loin, topped with onion and mushroom gravy. It was served with kraut, warm potato salad and green beans. Our first table ended up being under a spotlight that was directly in our line of sight (it looked like it was meant for the specials board), so we asked to move. Staff was accommodating and got us to a better table quickly. The space itself is really nice. It was clean, rustically decorated, and the live plants in liquor bottles on the tables are a nice touch. Our server was friendly from the start and took drink orders right away. My daughter and I had sodas, and my husband ordered the Southern Charm Old Fashioned off the specials menu, which he enjoyed. The menu is on the smaller side, which we actually like. One unique detail was the option to "buy a round for the kitchen," which we thought was a really nice touch and decided to add it when we ordered our appetizer. We started with the fried deviled eggs after a friend recommended them. They were creative with three styles (classic with pickle, togarashi ginger, and crispy prosciutto), but overall a bit on the dry side and not as flavorful as we expected. We asked for Dijon, but they don't have it. Our server suggested and brought out the Baja dipping sauce instead, which did pair well and kind of improved them. My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. He said the fish was flaky and well cooked. I ordered the Union grilled cheese, which unfortunately seemed like it had been sitting a bit before being served, as the bottom was soggy. It was just okay overall and not particularly memorable for the price. The sweet potato fries on the side were the clear standout. They were crispy, the perfect balance of sweet and salty and honestly the best part of the dish. Our daughter had the kid's smashburger. It was exactly that. Service throughout the meal was good. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and there when needed. The main disappointment came at the end. When our meals were served, the server actually offered sauces at the table (ketchup, mayo, ranch, etc.), and specifically suggested items like the baja sauce for the eggs and ranch to us. Because of that, we were surprised to see several charges for the sauces on the bill, especially since they were offered and recommended at the table with no mention of any additional cost. We were also charged a credit card fee, with no signage anywhere (entrance, hostess stand, or menu) indicating that paying with a card would include an extra charge. It just left an unnecessary sour note on an otherwise solid, casual meal. Nothing was bad, and nothing really stood out as exceptional, but the lack of transparency around those final charges really impacted the overall experience for us.
