So, this place has a bad wrap. And I really wanted to give it four stars because I had a good experience overall, but is it a GREAT nail shop that is 4-Star worthy? Debateable... I was in town for work and had a couple hours to spare before heading to the airport. Two options: go into downtown and get some Hattie B's amaaazing Nashville Hot Chicken OR get my nails done. Well, I chose to be responsible and finally get a long overdue manicure and took a chance on Snappy's because I didn't want to venture too far from the airport. I wanted to make it out of there without having my cuticles mangled. There is nothing worse than getting cut at a nail shop and it happened to me on my last manicure which is why I've stayed away for awhile. Anyway... Waited 45 minutes so what I expected to be a quick in and out job with no wait, especially based on reviews...instead, turned out to take up all of my "free time" before the airport. Got a gel manicure for $35. Seems steep. They're not even that costly in LA and NYC. Whack. But I really needed one and I was already there seated in my chair before I checked the price list. When all was said and done, the manicurist did a good job. She was quick which initially scared me and some of the nails were filed just a little crooked but nothing crazy. Her gel skills were on point. No gel on my cuticles which means that my gels will last longer and while she slightly cut me on one finger...it wasn't major and it's not stinging. read more

I'm still trying to find a nail salon that I like. I called on a Saturday and was told they were busy but to come in around 3:30. So I did. When I got there, there were 3 other women waiting ahead of me. I waited about 40 minutes from the time of my 3:30 appointment before they took me. I felt bad because they took me before the other three women who probably did not know that I had an appointment. They have a good selection of nail colors. When I was looking at the samples, I chose a color but did not know that it was one of the "dip" nail colors. So my nail tech spent a lot of time looking for a polish that did not exist. When I told her I was willing to try the dip polish, she said she could not do that kind of polish. Okay. I got a mani pedi. Two weeks later and my no-chip mani is still looking great. The price was fair. The place was fine. Definitely a no-frills kind of place. read more

I have given this place so many chances but I give up. I always have to wait at least 20 minutes when there are people who work there checking phones, etc. I understand people having breaks, but it seems to always be everyone's break when I'm there lol. This most recent time my tech kept digging and digging into my big toe after I said it hurt. I am usually an excellent tipper and left a very small tip, as my big toe is still in a lot of pain and my pedicure does not look worth the amount I paid. Last chance, last visit. Update after 2 days. My big toe is bright red and it is painful to walk. I was hoping it would start to hurt less, but it is hurting more. :-( read more

I'm not stoked about this place. My friends and I had appointments set at 5pm. One of us waited til an hour after our appointment time to get seen, I waited an hour and a half, and our other friend, who only wanted to get a quick eyebrow wax waited 2 hours. By the time they got to my nails they seems irritated at us instead of the other way around. My nails came out fine, but just fine. I'll deal with them for now. Just a little dissatisfied at the quality vs time spent waiting and price. Wasn't worth it. read more

I get my nails done every two weeks so I am familiar with the trends and prices in Nashville. This shop's services are marked up higher than Brentwood or Green Hills shops. $15 for a polish change with regular polish. $40 for a basic pedicure that doesn't even include callus removal. I'm not paying anyone $40 to slap some oil on my feet and rub them. Y'all are nuts. I saw the nails of some of the other clients and they were mediocre. I'm not paying $60 for a regular length of gel nails. This service is about $10-$15 higher than other shops. Y'all need a reality check instead of taking the SSI checks of these little old ladies (that's all that was in there). I don't give bad reviews, but I had to this time. read more

I love it here. I am a regular and I have tried many other nail salons in Nashville, but this is by far my favorite place. Mai is so super nice and Tyler did my nails today and was so detailed oriented. I cannot day enough good things. They may not have the glitz and glamor of other salons, but they go above and beyond. read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. The lady who did my nails was SO sweet and kind don't get me wrong but the nails themself are terrible. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and it was by far the most expensive I have ever had and the worst quality. My manicure was messy and already peeling off in less than 2 hours. I'm so upset. read more

Called ahead about 20 min from the salon, for two appointments. When we arrived, it was only a five min wait for them to prep the foot spas. The pedicures included a foot-care line that I was not familiar with. I'm accustomed to pedis being completed with generic (typically purchased from Sally Beauty) lotions and cuticle softeners, that I could technically purchase myself and use... I'm fully SOLD that a professional line of products, developed specifically for the pedicure procedure, is a MUST HAVE for every salon. I have never had a pedicure so perfect. My feet were so soft! The pedi was a $45 upgraded (Fire and Ice) option, with peppermint essential oil added to the water. I also opted for the $5 up-charge for callous removal. While the pedi was a bit pricy, compared to others I've experienced, the upgraded pro-line products absolutely made the difference in the end-result. I would happily pay the added $10! However, this is a pedicure. Who wants to walk out of a salon with callouses? Of course, no one. So why an ADDITIONAL up-charge for callous removal? After all, isn't that one of the main purposes of a pedicure? Especially for a man... that isn't receiving the "included" polish in the purchase price... :) read more

I went for a walk-in gel manicure and was overall not impressed at all by this salon. You walk in and are first hit with an overpowering scent of cheap wall plug ins of a variety of different scents. My nail tech was very slow, barely spoke to me, kept asking me to choose a new color because she couldn't find my color and when I first sat down burped in my face! (Ew!) I believe she may have been under the influence. Very dopey demeanor about her. The actual manicure was awful. Painted all over my skin, messed up the gel and had to redo it because when she thought she completed it all and wiped my nails, my polish came off! The manager could tell my manicure was terrible, so she did give me $10 off, but overall this place smells nasty and my nails started chipping after 4 days. read more

So I went here to have a fill and a pedi. My pedi came out good. VERY PRICEY. But my nails look awful. The technician did not fill in my acrylic, she just shaved them down than did the dip nail thing. I told her I didn't like it cause I could still see where the acrylic started and my real nail was. She than proceeded to yell at me and tell me I wasted her time. She also was yelling at another customer who didn't like the prices but paid anyways. than told me to go somewhere else. So I guess when i have the time to next week I will go somewhere else. read more

Professional and clean. This salon was nicer than I thought it would be. I was a walk-in customer and I came right before they were closing. They took me right in and listened to everything I wanted. (I got a full set acrylic with gel). They were all very kind. My only complaint was that the drill was a bit rough at times and the full set was pricey. It was 63$. Up north I get a full set with gel for around 35. He did warn me long nails would cost extra and gel on top of acrylic cost more too. I was just not prepared for that high a price. Their full set starts at 28$. I felt bad because I wanted to tip them more money because they really did do a great job, especially in this area it is hard to find a nail tech that knows what they are doing. read more

I recommend this place, hands down. Mae is the hardest working tech and business owner in town. She takes her time to learn each customer's name and doesn't rush through the process. On top of that, she is hilarious and keeps you entertained during the course of the visit. She will make sure you leave satisfied as a guest and that you're happy with the quality of work. I will continue to come back for her and her team's service. read more

We came here while on vacation upon the recommendation of our host, Grandma. It is your typical nail salon, located in a strip mall on a busy street. They were able to accomodate 3 of us for pedicures with no problem (and no appointment). We were all happy with our end results and the price was nice, too. Our pedicures included a lovely hot towel treatment, and, a serious foot and leg massage. The only gripe from our crowd was that we couldn't buy the colors that we had selected or our nails, too bad. They really should have a selection of colors for sale, too. read more

I travel often for work and I have been to SEVERAL nail salons. I was in town for work and this is one of the worst nail salon experiences. They are really pricey and I've never been to a salon that charges for removal PLUS the nail service. I was the only customer when I walked in. One of the nail techs was giving another nail tech a pedicure. Two other techs (one I think was the owner) were on their phones and the one tending to me was SO SLOW and seemed like she had NO CLUE what she was doing. I was there for an hour and they were still in the process of removing the gel polish from my toes and powdered dip from my nails, RIDICULOUS. They didn't even remove all the gel polish or the powder dip! They had two other nail techs that could have assisted to make the process quicker, but they were on their phones watching videos. SO unprofessional. The service was so terrible and I was annoyed I no longer wanted them to complete my nail services. After the HORRIBLE and EXTREMELY SLOW service, they charged me $25 just for removing the gel polish and the powder dip. read more

This wasn't a great experience. I typically go to Illusion in Green Hills for $40 but was nearby & read all the great reviews. Pros: Price - $40 for both mani/pedi Location to my work Cons: No water/drink offered Nail technician cut my toe nails so short she cut the skin under my nail. Now it hurts to walk. Technician also was extremely rough while scrubbing/exfoliating - very painful & I'm not sensitive or typically ticklish Massage for legs were half as long as my normal pedi experience Different technician did my nails & was very rude, short & overall seemed unhappy No one helped me move my things from pedi chair to mani station No arm massage with mani, just a hot towel for 10 seconds read more

2 of my dip nails were broken 2 days after having them done by the manager . she did not stand behind her work, and was very condescending to me. It's very unfortunate as I was genuinely hoping for better costumer service and higher quality as my first experience here was very good. read more

We stopped here when we were in Nashville on vacation. I was looking for a place were we did not need a appointment. We only waited for about five minutes. They did a great job. Their prices are a little high, but I'm not sure if the prices are normal for Nashville. I had read some bad reviews, but our experience was positive. read more

I came here after an extremely bad experience at another nail salon that I genuinely had walked out during my visit so I was very upset and eager to find somewhere to calm me down. Walking in everyone working was wearing mask which was nice during the pandemic they did however make me wear a mask even though there is not a mask mandate anymore and I am fully vaccinated so I didn't really understand that but saying what I already have said they absolutely blew my mind and completely made my visit 100% enjoyable I have never had such an amazing pedicure I literally almost fell asleep so many times it felt so nice the lady that took care of me I believe her name is Thuy Was one of the nicest people I have ever had do my nails and she was so helpful with me trying to decide what I wanted considering I had no absolute idea she took her time with me and made the whole experience more enjoyable I will be coming back to this place over and over again and asking for her thank you so much for the great experience!!!! btw my nails are so stinking cute. i highly recommend this place read more

i got my nails done once and they were okay. i went to another girl in the salon and i showed the nail tech a photo of the exact size and shape i wanted. she cut them to that length and i said it was good. then she proceeded to cut them down to almost nubs. she used so much glue on the tips that i've had to pick it off my fingers all day because they keep getting caught on stuff. the shape is crooked on all of the nails. she also filed into my skin so i have microscopic cuts all over my fingers. $85 for my nails to look worse than if i did them myself. such a bummer and i will not be returning. read more

This is a no muss no fuss place for an excellent manicure and pedicure. I see Loan who has never disappointed and always delivers an excellent French mani! My gel nails were on for three weeks!My pedicure is still on and looks great after a month. It's fairly priced, clean, they check your temperature when you get there and ask you to sanitize your hands and you must have an appointment. I have not had dip manicure here, but they seem to have plenty of return customers read more

Terrible. Have given them several chances, but bad experiences too many times. Tech talked me into dip nails, which I had never had. Told her halfway through I didn't like the process. Told I didn't like the finished mani. Shrugged and told me next time get gels. Went the very next morning to have dip removed because it was actually hurting my fingers. No acknowledgement that I was a returning customer even though the same tech saw me. Then charged another $15 to remove the dang things. Terrible customer service, pricey and bad quality. read more

Bad experience with the nail technician not understanding English to start off with. There is a zero understanding of customer service here. There are a ton of nail shops in the area and I will not be back. Their basic pedicure price is also on the high side for such a basic nail salon. read more

Dropping 1 star because my gel manicure barely lasted a week and a half before it started peeling off. They also charge $10 to remove the gel. Next time I'll buy some acetone and soak them off at home. On the plus side, it has been about 5 weeks and my pedicure still looks amazing! I would definitely return just for the pedicure but I will find somewhere else to go for a gel mani. read more

Best nail salon in Nashville! Go see Mai or Tyler. I get SNS done every few weeks and my nails never chip and stand up to constant washing. They are very polite and the salon is well maintained. I always recommend this salon to anyone who is looking to get their nails done in Nashville. read more

Having made an appointment for today Oct 19 and thought it would be a positive experience. Not so! I have been home for a couple hours and my gel is peeling o. 4 nails! I paid $89 plus tip. So very unhappy. I will never go back and am out almost $100. And I don't consider their prices to be $$ I would say $$$$ is their pricing. Went to a nail salon today and tech told it was the worst she had seen! This company needs to close read more

In spite of their automated text confirmations and reminders for appointments, my preferred technician is already engaged with another client. I will not be returning until they can give their scheduling and customer care processes more respect. read more

Wow. After coming here twice and having a great experience, it was completely ruined by this man. He was so rude and disrespectful! He was complaining about my nails being short when I asked for a full acrylic set. He kept saying he didn't understand when I asked him what I wanted. I told him never mind, and decided to go with something simple that I had gotten before (C190 powder color) for an acrylic full set, and he raised his voice and argued with me about it being only used as dip powder, even though his colleague who did my nails two weeks ago recommended this as my acrylic power--hence the note I left on my phone for C190, because I loved how my nails turned out. Then he proceeded to try to charge me $10 more than she did. $90 for an acrylic set! I said, "I was charged $80 two weeks ago for the same thing WITH French tip painted", and his response was "I'm not cheap like that." Can you believe it? I even tipped $30 on $80 last time I went! Lorddddd this man. Anyway--worst customer service I've ever experienced in a nail salon. I will NEVER be back! Get rid of this old man. He's bad for business. read more

First, I have had facials in different parts of the country and overseas. I know what is a true and real facial feels like. This was not it. This is on me for not making time on carefully research this place. The DMK felt like the " esthetician" watched bunch of you tube videos and mimic the steps. There was no facial massage, it was more like throwing the products on your face which literally it happened that way. Lily was lovely and everything but one thing is the personality the other is the execution of work. The place: people go to have a facial or massage in a place that is zen and quiet. It's a space for healing and focus. There's no privacy. The working areas are separated by panels. There are no doors but curtains facing the checkout counter. I could hear the next door client chatting with her esthetician nonstop. For that you go to therapy or simply have that session at home. It was distracting and extremely annoying. The choice of music and volume not okay. It gave me the impression these people wants to make quick money without having proper practice and real experience. I'll keep looking and make the time to check on their certificates online. The ones on the wall look pretty fake. I know this is a brutal review but this impression was fully created by you-- the business. I support women owning businesses but please do it right!

Besides to save money, it's a great way to try products or services for less and if you like it then you found a new place/product. So far this hasn't been a good experience. The building looks abandoned every time I have been there to try to receive the services. They have a phone number but they never answer so you can't communicate the day of the appointment for any updates. The owner called me herself the 1st time it happened. I was there 30 mins before my appointment and I thought I was able to wait in the office but no so I went back to my car and came up 10 mins before the appointment time. Nobody answered and I stayed there and nobody came. It was a very cold windy day so I went back to my car and called but nobody answered. I also emailed the email showed on the suite door I was told to go to and it also wasn't the right suite. The second time I missed it as I woke up sick (fever and chills) and rescheduled for a 3rd time that I was unfortunately running 5-7 mins behind and I could not have anybody answer the phone. I got there to the new suite number I was told to go and same, the building looked abandoned and there were no cars. So I'm still waiting and hopefully to get in. Hopefully this review will be updated soon. I really need me time.

While a pedicure may sound strange and I didn't know what made me call, after meeting my student, Mia-I knew. Her smile was just as bright as my daughter's. She was welcoming, nice and professional-everything I would have dreamed for my daughter. She explained everything she was doing and asked questions about my needs throughout. She even shared lessons she learned about the school and atmosphere & how happy she was there. Our conversation throughout my "pedicure" made me forget my sorrow and enjoy this young woman and I knew that is why I was led back there. Oh. My pedicure is amazing-please check my pictures. This is not my first time there and nor will it be my last. This School is teaching the future the correct way! They are Positive& Professionals-& I am going to keep saving my money and going back. It is clean, quiet yet comfy. They are providing more than a service for us- they are leading our future with being on time, being respectful and doing a great job. Even if I was refunded my money, I'd still need the fix for the immediate hair plus 2 years of ongoing maintenance color. This is literally a cost to me of over $1k plus the hours and hours I will have to commit to it again. My hair feels like straw, when it was very healthy going in. Plus, there's just the fact that I'm old. 2 years is significant. I am furious. More so at the management than the stylist. This was her first day...part of the reason for 4 hours. She had to continually leave me to go consult with others. Somebody that new, that timid, and with that many questions needed someone with her, assisting. I deserved that. She deserved that. WORST.SALON.EXPERIENCE.EVER!
