Very very slow service during lunch, if you have 30-40 min to waste go here. Ordering online is no faster because they are always behind filling orders. I've ordered online from here before at lunch and it takes forever. I know it's not the drivers fault because I watch them in my app sitting at the restaurant waiting. Doesn't seem like a manager is running the place most of the time. They always seem like they have plenty of staff but disorganized and the cashier is always stressed, never seen anyone working who resembles a manager. I forgot to bring something for my department's potluck lunch, so I ran in here today (it's just up the street) to get a salad. Their website said the Grilled Avocado was their "#1 selling salad," so that's what I ordered. I hurried back to the office and set it on the table for everyone to enjoy ... only to discover that the "grilled" avocados and tomatoes were badly burned, and there was no "red leaf" lettuce to be found. (Instead, there was plenty of *black*-leafed, rotten-looking romaine.) It was an unappetizing mess, and not surprisingly, hardly anybody touched it. $13 for that disaster of a salad! Let me first start out by saying I'm a huge snappy salad fan. The Richardson location is legit and I've never had a problem. The Las Colinas location is horrible. I've been there twice and both times it's obvious that the management is clueless. It takes forever, the staff gets orders wrong and all of this is compounded when you are dealing with the long wait of a Las Colinas lunch crowd. I ordered the half size and if nobody was around I would have licked the bowl.... amazing Second trip was an interesting experience. I figured let me try something different... This place is tucked away pretty well, but it's a great find! Very nice and helpful staff; they asked me if I'd like to sample the recommended lemon dressing before putting it on my half snap. I went with the crab cake menu salad -- a great choice. The firecracker sauce is actually pretty mild and pairs well with the contrasting tangy sweetness of the lemon dressing. Quick and tasty salad place in Las Colinas. The line can get long during peak hours, but it moves pretty fast - I've never been in line longer than 5-8 minutes. You can make your own salad, or choose from the pre-created options (both salads and wraps) listed on the wall. My personal favorite is the grilled avocado half salad. I will usually also get an order of their whole grain rolls with the orange butter (SO good, please try it). The downside is that it's pretty pricy - an order of the half grilled avocado with bread+butter is nearly $15. I can definitely get more food somewhere else, but fresh vegetables come at a price I suppose. They're also pretty heavy with the dressings so if you don't like an explosion/overload of flavor, ask for them to go light on the dressings. During the lunch hours, parking is pretty hard to find as the lot fills up. There is plenty of indoor seating, but also lots of outdoor seating, so take advantage of it when there is nice weather. read more

Snappy Salads is my holy grail. Now that it's finally in Las Colinas, it is my go to lunch spot whenever I need eat something healthy and DELICIOUS. The decor is super cute, the personnel are cool under fire (say hello to their wonderful manager, Herbert), and there's plenty of parking. I'll admit it's a little on the expensive side, but not only is it worth it, but I often find that I can make two meals out of even a "half" snap. For example, if I get the Guacho, which is $12.01 for a half snap, I rarely eat more than half of it...I always end up having the rest for dinner or afternoon dunch. (I admit it. I may be part hobbit.) And you have to understand -- while their "so delicious guys love it" is a little sexist, this female carnivore loves and adores their salads. There's so many incredible flavors and textures, that I don't even need meat. (But you know I get it anyway.) Speaking of meat -- you know that plenty of chi-chi salad bar places offer pre-grilled chicken or beef? Snappy Salads is only fifty times better. Say hello to grilled chicken, crispy buffalo chicken, coconut curry chicken, sauteed or smoked salmon, chicken tenders, pulled chicken, marinated tenderloin, spicy sirloin, yellowfin tuna, ground beef, black forest ham, roast turkey, boiled shrimp, sauteed tofu... Love this place! We are from out of town and found this restaurant on Yelp. We are so glad we did. Everyone in my party order different salads, and everyone was pleased. The food is delicious, fresh, made to order, and presented well. The staff is friendly, and it's very modern and clean inside. I paid over $16 for uber eats delivery. The salad itself was over $12. For the price you pay you would think it would be better quality. The salad is small, they used iceberg lettuce that had brown spots all over it, they barely put any cheese onions and tomatoes in it and gave a small scoop of ground beef. Fantastic place for a salad! They have a wide selection of options and I love that everything is on display for you to see as you're making your choices. I visit this location several times a month for to-go orders and it never fails, there is never enough dressing, even when you ask for extra. Had lunch here today, it was pretty good. Good variety of things, but some items are definitely better than others. I ordered a salad off the menu instead of custom making my own which was probably a mistake. There are a ton of options for greens, but my salad came with pale green romaine that didn't really look that good. It was almost yellow. Besides the greens though, the ingredients were good. My favorite things - Jalapeno ranch, chipotle grilled chicken and the massive amounts of avocado. I probably order from here once a week and its never disappoints. I have come in during the busiest times and waited in line and it goes by fast. I was originally ordering their BBQ Ranch Chicken but I started creating my own and it was like BAM this was my dream salad. The half size is like getting a medium drink at Wendys and when its handed to you, you're like whoa this is a huge drink - its larger than you think a half size would be. I order online and pick up a lot lately and its seriously been so easy. My salad is always ready and the one time I got there before my estimated time, they rushed to get it out to me and had me on my way quickly. The staff has always been amazing and they are the real reason I am taking time to write a review. Its hard to work in the food industry and these people are always so patient, kind and inviting. I believe they have good employees because they work for a good company and it shows. Lets talk about the dressing and how I am weird and picky. I do not like wet salads. I'm not talking about soggy but just wet. I like very little dressing and these guys are very gracious with their dressing.
