Two salads with chicken, baked potato and a drink = $55 LOL Add to that really bad service by Jessica and another girl who didn't wear a name tag. Really a sh*t show. I'm writing this review as I wait and watch these buffoons put together a salad twenty different ways. Maybe it'd be better during lunch hours when their A+ employees are working. Oh well. Never again. Update: Well looks like they only put chicken in one of my salads even though they charged me for both salads. I would have caught this if they didn't take my salads to the back to finish making. Update #2: Thank you Chris for your follow-up, but frankly I do not wish to dine at Snappy Salads ever again whether it's on your dime (or in this case a ulysses grant) or mine. And if you choose to refund the amount I paid for the meal, I wouldn't change my review. The service and the quality of food and the missing portion of the food that I paid for, still stand. Okay, so I have to be fairly pissed to give a review one star. These are the reasons why this place only gets one star. - I have been to this location twice. Both times there weren't that many people. Both times very poor service.This adds to the over all frustration of my visits. I can slightly understand poor service if the place is packed and you get overwhelmed. - I asked for dressing on the side because they drench the salad if you don't. But ended up with no dressing in my to go bag. I noticed after I had already driven back to the office. - The kicker is that the kids they have working this place are disrespectful. I worked food service back in high school and it can be frustrating at times. But NEVER roll your eyes directly at a customer!!! The person behind the counter was speaking softly and I barely noticed that he was speaking to me when he asked if I wanted a to go bag. When I looked up from putting my card back in my purse, he was shaking his head to the other employee and rolling his eyes at me. My friends had all been telling me about the great lunches they were having at Snappy Salads, but I didn't think there was one close to my work. Wrong - the Las Colinas location is only 10 mins away!! Yes the lunch crowds are big, but I always go with a fun coworker so we can have a good chat while waiting, and honestly I've never had to wait any longer here than I have at Chipotle during the lunch rush. So far I've been twice and both times my salads have been great. First time was the Crispy Artichoke half snap. The Greek style salad was perfect with those little fried artichoke hearts on top. Made it feel healthy, but filling at the same time (plus the warm rosemary bread was perfect to catch those last drops of the lemon vinaigrette). Second trip I tried the special Cajun Shrimp half snap. Not the most health salad, but the beans and corn plus the firecracker sauce left me very satisfied. Plus there was a good amount of shrimp!! I also enjoy the cane sugar sodas they offer (Rootbeer is my favorite). My lunch friend has gotten the Gaucho half snap each time because she loves it. I tried a bite, and I'm definitely going to order that one soon!! When its nice, the outdoor seating is a great respite from being in an office all day. New lunchtime go-to spot! read more

Been to this location and the one in Plano off Park Blvd. Both have offered me the same superb quality and service. To highlight, once at this location I had decided to do a half create my own and wanted romaine lettuce. As the worker was about to start on my salad he noticed that the romaine hearts had some of the red rust that sometimes develops on lettuce. While, as far as I'm aware, it does not mean it's not edible but rather just indicates its been a decently exposed to the air and such, the worker stated that he would prefer to not serve it to me because of its loss of freshness. So he threw the whole (the WHOLE) tray away of remaining romaine. Additionally when he looked for another batch in the refrigerator he found it to be in similar state and did not have another batch prepared to provide. While you could say it's a waste of food, having to throw away a 1/4 tray and full tray of romaine that is technically still edible, I saw it as a dedication to quality freshness. I substituted for red leaf instead and was perfectly satisfied with my salad still. The half-snaps are fairly decent size which is filling though perhaps leaves just the slightest bit of room left in case you want something extra, like soup. The full snap is usually very filling and potentially leaves you with a bit extra that you can't finish. As someone who typically prefers naked or very little and light dressing types for my salad, I've found the organic sesame miso ginger dressing to be quite appealing. Although I will say there was once where for some reason the dressing was a little more watery than normal, but otherwise it's been fairly consistent. All in all, yes the price is a little more elevated/premium compared to your typical salad place, but for their delivered attention to quality I don't mind paying for fresh food. read more

Okay...so the reviews were pretty good and I was looking forward to this place, but was disappointed on a couple fronts. We arrived early evening and there was virtually no one in the restaurant. We ordered our salads, but the service just seemed completely unorganized. It took about 10mins for my order to be completed. The line concept that they are trying is good only if you actually have fixed stations. Instead, it wasn't very clear as to what each individual was responsible for. On top of that it seemed strange that the manager was manning the register and responsible for the appetizer preparation. The attitudes of everyone was great, but it was clear that the process was not well managed. As for the food, not bad. Love the concept, but my Gaucho salad had twice as much dressing as it should have had. Really liked the mix of salad and noodles together, but once again the dressing was too heavy that I couldn't taste the freshness of the food. If the dressing was on the side, it probably would have been great. I really wish I could give a higher rating, but just can't. Perhaps, I'll head back one day and give them a second chance. read more

I think I might have posted a review for snappy salads a very long time ago but its changed quite a bit that I wanted to give a 2017 review! When I say changed, I mean in a very good way. If you've been going to snappy salads for a while, especially this location, you probably remember being overwhelmed by the long list of dressings and proteins they had and then if you went during rush hour then you probably had to make a hurried decision but after ordering you realized you wanted the grilled avocado instead of the chicken. Anywayyyyys, they've significantly cut down the list which is MUCH less overwhelming. Did the tiny font ever bother anyone before? well it did for me! now the size font is readable without having to squint thanks to them shortening the list for dressings and protein. Before, I used to prefer salata because I'm obsessed with their ginger lime dressing but snappy has been stepping up their game! They are beginning to get more interesting dressings apart from the regular balsamic and ranch. Now every time I go, I usually get the mint dressing (delicious) with the smoked salmon (even MORE DELICIOUS). My mouth is watering just thinking about it! the only thing I have to complain is that you only have a choice of eight toppings which for me isnt a problem but i know some people who love to pack on the salad with everything. and i mean EVERYTHING. But overall, i think the pricing is fair since I do get salmon and even though you order a half salad, it's pretty much a full regular salad that a sit down restaurant would serve you. read more

Chipotle has burritos, subway has sandwiches, and now you can get a custom salad. Snappy Salads is decorated in totally hipster, with "gathering tables" and cups made from corn. We shared the large buffalo chicken and added jalepenos, which was fantastic. You can choose from some of the great top salads or make your own. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is great. Great selection of salads with fresh quality ingredients. The house specialty salads offer a good mix of ingredients and textures and the home made dressings don't disappoint. One of my favorite salads is the Tuna and my husband loves the steakhouse with is very generous with the Maytag Bleu cheese. The soups are amazing though easily overlooked. The drink selection is good and the teas are tasty, the only downfall is the paper straw, it diminishes the enjoyment of the drink. It gets a little soggy and the suction isn't as good. Sometimes I forgo a drink just because of it or get it to go and head down to Jersey Mikes and pick up one of their teas which are also great. read more

Went there on a Friday at 1 pm , it was dead and still the service was SO slow! I ordered the "Gaucho" salad and they took like 20 minutes to get it done which is eternity for salads, and lunch time on a work day!
