The soup was good, although I think it could have used a little more cheddar flavor. I absolutely love Snarf's, and this location was great. The staff were friendly, there was plenty of seating, and even though it was super packed, they got everyone through pretty quickly. We ordered a 12 inch French Dip, a 12 inch chicken salad, and a 7 inch sub know as The California to share. The three subs were absolutely delicious. The meat to bread ratio was on point. The chicken salad was nicely seasoned and fresh. The roast beef and turkey were tender. The star of the show were the homemade wheat and white breads. Our last Snarf's visit in Denver (44th & Tennyson) wasn't that great! We would eat at Snarf's a lot before that night-hadn't stopped at a snarf's until coming home from Glenwood Springs, CO. On our way home from Denver we decided to take a gamble on Snarf's -we pulled in hoping the reason our last visit was icky was because we weren't in the mood or something-at any rate, super glad we gave it another shot ! We stopped off in Dillon, CO by Silverthorne. Sandwiches were so good! Just how we remembered! Just as they used to be! Super Snarf Awesome! So tasty, very filling and good enough to put Snarf's back on our "go to" restaurant list!! We live SNARF's once again! Very impressed with the Snarf in Dillon, all around! Jess was managing, with 2 other employees. The store was very clean and tidy. The food was off the charts! Bathrooms were clean and stocked and there ample parking! Customer service was top notch and we'll be coming back! Of course, we won't be returning to the Dillon location until next visit to Glenwood summer 2027, But we will be visiting the sister store on 44th & Tennyson again! When driving through Dillon, my husband and I typically stop at Snarfs. Today, we stopped and had a bad experience. Both of our sandwiches (turkey & provolone on wheat) were incredibly dry, tasteless, had very little turkey or any ingredients for that matter. I even purchased alpha sprouts for an additional .75 cents and maybe there were 10 individual sprouts. Our sandwiches were so over toasted that bread literally crumbled. We were in a rush to get somewhere otherwise I would have spoken to a manager. This was a big bummer. Drove an extra 45 mins and we usually look forward to a sub there. And the ratio of everything from the meat to vegetables to condiments was in perfect balance. Very pleased with the food, but that completes the positives of the restaurant. We split a couple of sandwiches and got a salad to try as many things on the menu as we could. Those three items racked up a bill of about $50. Of the three meals, two of them were incorrect. We told them about one of the mistakes and they corrected the first order, albeit very defensively. We figured it wasn't worth the hassle of doing it again but my brother said it certainly subtracted from his sandwich. The one sandwich that came as ordered (Prime Rib and Provolone) was excellent. Fresh, toasty bread with succulent meat and melty cheese. The entire restaurant including the tables, bathrooms, and floors, all looked like they could use a good cleaning. We were greeted nice, but as soon as the staff noticed the hoodie I was wearing had an American flag on the shoulder, we were treated terrible. I believe these employees assumed that because I had a flag on my shirt, that I was their political enemy. I have never been discriminated like this in my life. They looked at my wife and two small sons with such disgust! It made me sick. I don't leave reviews but I want to give a heads up to anyone with an American flag on their clothing so they can avoid this treatment. The food was really good though! The sauce with the sandwich was watered down and had floating "stuff" in it. The women at the counter was very rude and stand-offish.
