When driving through Dillon, my husband and I typically stop at Snarfs. Today, we stopped and had a bad experience. Both of our sandwiches (turkey & provolone on wheat) were incredibly dry, tasteless, had very little turkey or any ingredients for that matter. I even purchased alpha sprouts for an additional .75 cents and maybe there were 10 individual sprouts. Our sandwiches were so over toasted that bread literally crumbled. We were in a rush to get somewhere otherwise I would have spoken to a manager. This was a big bummer. Drove an extra 45 mins and we usually look forward to a sub there. We came over to Snarfs during our adventures today. I had the Italian and my husband had a club with all the toppings listed. My oldest daughter had ham and my youngest daughter had turkey. I'm about to rave about their sandwiches, but let me start by saying their online ordering process for groups was so easy and smooth. We were all able to jump on our phones and individually place our orders to one master order. Sounds so nerdy, but it made life on vacation with two families so much more efficient! Ok, so we were off to go boating on Dillon Lake for a few hours and we wanted to bring some simple sandwiches for the kids and adults. Snarf's came up on Yelp and looked like a good choice. It was the perfect choice! I'm not sure how to describe why we enjoyed the sandwiches so much. A sandwich is a sandwich, right? I guess it was the perfect thinness of the toasted bread which gave it a good crunch yet still was "bready" enough. And the ratio of everything from the meat to vegetables to condiments was in perfect balance. Very pleased with the food, but that completes the positives of the restaurant. We split a couple of sandwiches and got a salad to try as many things on the menu as we could. Those three items racked up a bill of about $50. Of the three meals, two of them were incorrect. We told them about one of the mistakes and they corrected the first order, albeit very defensively. We figured it wasn't worth the hassle of doing it again but my brother said it certainly subtracted from his sandwich. The one sandwich that came as ordered (Prime Rib and Provolone) was excellent. Fresh, toasty bread with succulent meat and melty cheese. The entire restaurant including the tables, bathrooms, and floors, all looked like they could use a good cleaning. We were greeted nice, but as soon as the staff noticed the hoodie I was wearing had an American flag on the shoulder, we were treated terrible. I believe these employees assumed that because I had a flag on my shirt, that I was their political enemy. I have never been discriminated like this in my life. They looked at my wife and two small sons with such disgust! It made me sick. I don't leave reviews but I want to give a heads up to anyone with an American flag on their clothing so they can avoid this treatment. The food was really good though! Go to Cheba hut. This place is over priced and the customer service was disappointing. The sandwich we ordered was very cold even though it was a warm sandwich. The sauce with the sandwich was watered down and had floating "stuff" in it. The women at the counter was very rude and stand-offish. I understand it's busy and a lot is going on but it is your job at the end of the day. If customer service isn't for you, there are other jobs that would be suitable.
