We visited Snarf's on Saturday (it is technically Wednesday morning as I write this) and we can't stop talking about how good their food is. I'd never even heard of Snarf's until they were listed on Yelp's Buy One, Get What? event. Their Longmont location was close enough I felt okay driving to get there (we have been trying to limit how far we travel due to COVID risks) and I'm always excited to try new places. They currently have the inside of the shop set up so there's only one way around it with arrows taped to the floor and space between the counter and public. No indoor seating but a couple of two person tables on the patio. Everyone was wearing a mask and following proper safety, which is a big deal to me and I appreciate it. It took me a little bit to figure out what to order but I finally decided on the turkey and swiss; I asked for no lettuce, tomato, onions, or peppers, and added sprouts. I was expecting it to be good but it was GOOD. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I wish Snarf's was closer to where we live because I could spend a small fortune eating there. read more

We were staying at an airbnb across the street from Snarf and walked over fir dinner the first night. There are so many choices and combinations that I found it hard to choose. We ordered a few sandwiches and shared. They were all great! The bread is fresh and toasty crispy. Toppings are ample and fresh with so many add in options. I think my favorite was the French dip. The combination of toasty bread, meat and the au jus hit the spot after a long airplane flight. Just simple good food with great ingredients anyway you like it. read more

I called tonight around 6:10, first I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called back and they picked up right away and took my order. I ordered a chicken salad with rotisserie chicken, with no cheese, no onions and a veggie sandwich. He had to ask me 3 or 4 times if I wanted chicken salad. I told him, it's listed on the menu as a chicken salad with your choice of chicken. We then went through a similar conversation with the order for the sandwich. He seemed really confused like it was his first day. I knew at this point, my order was not going to be done correctly & I should have just hung up. He said in 10 minutes, it would be ready. I went down there and he rings me up and says. It's national sandwich day, you get a buy one get one free, your total is $11. I replied, I didn't order 2 sandwiches. He asked my name and I told him, it's Michelle I just called. He yea I got it, give me a minute to make the salad. Then charged me $21.50, I paid him $22 and he gave me no change, not problem, I would have tipped him & did tip them additional $$. I asked if he had the correct order, for the salad he said yes, I got it. He then said something to one of his co-workers and proceeded to make the salad. I see him putting cheese on the salad. I said, excuse me sir, Are you making my salad? He said yes. I told him I don't think you have the correct order. There should be no cheese or onions on that salad with italian dressing. He then again, rudely, said yea I got it. Turns around and scoops up a huge handful of onions and plops it on the salad. At that point, I had enough and I said I want my money back. He said yea in one minute. I said no, I want it now. He then told me to "chill out, we are short staffed and really busy" I said I get it, he said "no you don't or you wouldn't act like this we like a really chill atmosphere here" He then struggled to give my money back, and gave me back $20.75. I said no, I paid you $22, take the change back and give me the $2. And I left. He never once apologized to me. I don't think he a clue how many times he messed up my order, no did he care. I will not be supporting this company ever again. That was horrible service, a simple, I am so sorry, we are slammed tonight. Could you please remind me what your order was and none of this would have happened. Training and good customer service goes a long way. Came in here the other night after placing a takeout order and it was hot n' ready right when I arrived a couple minutes before the suggested time to of arrival. Easy to find location with plenty of parking. Restaurant is always clean and service is always top notch. I have never seen it crazy busy so its always easy in and out. And they all stood around and took up a LOT of space in the small restaurant and she was loud and I was highly annoyed with all of them. We have been going to Snarf's on Ken Pratt for many years and have had mostly great experiences. The last two times we have gone to the one on Mountain Avenue and come away very disappointed. Both my wife and I had a tuna salad sandwich. Both barely had any tuna, and the other toppings were skimpy as well. It looked like both sandwiches had been run over by a steamroller (flat). Very rude cashier working here today. We came in at 5:36 and they acted like they are out of all the ingredients to make any hot sandwiches. They are open for 15 minutes and turned open sign off too. The clerk who made my sandwich seemed annoyed when I asked for the sandwiches to be quartered; that my order was "to go" and also that I reminded her that I ordered peppers with my order. When I smiled and said thank you. She responded with, "Yeah." Really? Yeah?! I am always satisfied with wth quality of food, but maybe some training in customer service and politeness is in order. *...and in follow up; met up with family to share a picnic and the sandwich order was incorrect. If anyone should have been laughing it should have been me at the poor girls eyeliner but hey you do you boo. My name isn't that difficult and its not my fault that you don't understand how vowels work in the English language.
