We love Thai food, and Vegan Thai is definitely the BEST we've ever eaten. Our son has gone to a plant-based diet and we're slowly switching over too. It's really great that VT offers 4 vegan protein choices, tofu for free but seitan, tempeh & jackfruit for a $2 upcharge. We've ordered many different combos in the past couple months, here are some highlights: -- Cream Cheese Wontons- Very tasty, but a little runny inside (probably the tofutti's fault) -- Drunken Noodles w/ Seitan- WOW! Sauce is very flavorful, tried w/ Tofu but preferred Seitan (both were delicious). MUST ORDER! -- Pad Woon Sen w/ Tofu- very good, love the glass noodles. Bit on bland side, a little soy & hot sauce took care of that -- Pad Thai w/ Tempeh- very good but would probably try a different protein source next time -- Panang Curry w/ Tempeh- great taste but definitely on the spicy side (even on the mild level), needed extra rice to tame it down. Tofu as protein source was also tasty. -- Pineapple Fried Rice w/ extra veggies (or Jackfruit)- Extremely unique taste, touch of turmeric perhaps? The pineapple, cashews, veggies and spices all come together to make the most delicious fried rice we've ever had. Jackfruit was interesting and there was lots of it in the dish, but we probably won't get the jackfruit again (worth trying though). MUST ORDER! Prices may seem a little high, but they pack a lot of flavorful food into that take-out container. Look at the pics if you don't believe me! We have also ordered from Mana Thai (in same kitchen) when my sister was in town and the Beef Drunken Noodles & Chicken Pad Woon Sen were both very tasty, but we prefer going with the vegan menu. This is a new Thai place for Longmont but they are from Denver. I was thrilled to discover this restaurant, because I am vegetarian. Its really hard sometimes for me to get vegetarian thai food because of the fish sauce or chicken stock used in their mix of ingredients. We have tried their pad thai, green rice, pineapple rice and their curries. The flavors are robust and delicious and it feels so good to eat!! I trust the food 100% and just dive into it every time we get it. My son loves their tofu, its perfectly cooked and very good. Firm outside but soft and moist inside. They do put the tofu in every dish so if you don't want it definitely specify that you do NOT want tofu. I have only ordered thru doordash so I don't know anything personal about this place. I love Thai food, and this place is amongst the best that I've ever tasted. And it's vegan?! I wouldn't have known it if I were doing a blind tasting. I'm not a vegan and I don't go out of my way to get vegan food. In fact, I often don't give things a chance when it's labeled vegan. Not knocking on vegans or vegan products, it's just how I am I guess. Anyway, I was at a party and there was a vegan there, so the catering featured food from vegan thai co. There was Drunken noodles and penang curry. I went and tried it because I was curious. Both dishes were so delicious with a very unmistakable thai flavor. Now I tried this food after it had been sitting out for like 2 hours, so it was cold and the rice was on its way to drying out. I can only imagine how much better it might have been if I had gone for it much sooner while it was actually warm and freshly delivered. I actually like this vegan thai food more than most thai food in Denver. I am probably still going to shy away from most things with a vegan label, but I am making an exception for vegan thai co. The BEST DRUNKEN NOODLES I've ever had !!!! I literally travel all over the US for work so I've been in a different city every week. That is to say I eat THAI FOOD everywhere I go. I ordered from here twice. HOME RUN. THE FOOD HERE is SO flavorful & so much DEPH of flavor! Both the drunken noodles and the mango sticky rice were an absolute home run. The drunken noodles were savory and had layers of spices and flavors..so delicious The mango coconut sticky rice was excellent and the mango as you can see from the photos is so ripe and amazing ! The customer service was 10 STAR. This establishment should be incredible proud of their service: I got a hand written note because I initially ordered over Uber eats and uber's system was having issues. They have an ONLINE chat for inquiries and they responded within one minute. Excuse me? I need to outsource that level of customer service to my cellphone provider and my doctors office to say the least ! This place is a GEM! My biggest regret is not eating this food everyday, as I'm in California now and haven't found anything close but I'll be back to Denver.. even if it's just for Thai! read more

Very conveniently located in downtown Longmont, having just moved from several miles north. Happy to have found it for the fam, and now we get to try it every time we come visit :) Notes: - at least as of December 2021, sign outside still says "A Thai food" (Thai restaurant previously occupying the space) - easy to order online, take out only - favorite dishes were the drunken noodle (tried both in mild and medium), tea leaf salad (try it mixed with white rice), tom kha soup (the broth was coconut heavy with mushroom and lemongrass complementing it), and the green curry (my MIL called it "sublime"!) - Least favorite was the pad Thai. Nothing necessarily bad about it, but just fell flat next to the rest of the dishes - Thai ice tea is worth getting to share (perfectly sweet and bitter) - They change the combination of sticky rice and fruit. My bf and I ordered from here on Yelp. When I got the order the Receipt said another business. Fly rice thai. I ate the pad see eew and ended up with a stomach ache. When I got home I gave my boyfriend the pineapple fried rice with chicken. Which I thought was vegan chicken because I ordered from a vegan place and it said "vegan pineapple fried rice". But it wasn't vegan chicken. It was real chicken. We would love to speak to the owner about this but there is no phone number to call. Only a phone number that has a message that says "please order online". If the owner sees this review and wants to reply with a phone number for us to reach you, that would be great. We would be willing to take down our reviews if you could handle this professionally. Instead of plain out right calling us names and calling us liars. Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Vegan Thai CO popped up in some recent Yelp searches and I'm so glad that I did! I was a little hesitant to order from here since they only had a few reviews, and I've never actually seen this building with my own eyes lol. I wasn't sure what I was getting into! They offer pick up and delivery only, so I ordered through Uber Eats. We ordered the drunken noodles, pad see ew, and Penang curry. 5/5 recommend! The food was so tasty! They only hiccup I ran into was with their delivery options. We were attempting to make a delivery last weekend within their business hours, but closer to rush hour, and both Uber eats and DoorDash orders were turned off. I am guessing that this is because of a lot of orders coming through unlimited staffing. So we just decided to order another night. read more

When my husband and I want something warm, comforting, fast, and cheap, we order Vegan Thai. This place is absolutely incredible! And it's vegan! What a dream. Everything we've tried has been delicious and we order from them at least once a month (although we would love to more often but hey money's tight sometimes). Tonight we ordered khao soi, pad Thai, tofu spring rolls, cream cheese wontons, and fried gyoza. I can't recommend this place enough, anything you order will be amazing. The customer service is great, too! I will note this is not a sit-down place, the inside is only small enough for the kitchen and counter, but in the warmer months they offer outdoor seating which is lovely when the weather is nice! I love living within walking distance and we love this place so much that we are planning on staying in town nearby so we can get our fix whenever we want. Thank you vegan Thai, we love you! We went here for my birthday and the food was fantastic -- I always order green curry as my benchmark, and this place has the best I have ever had! We also ordered Khao Soi that was out of this world. Even though this place is mostly takeout, we came early and ate at a small table outside and the owner (?) was amazing and served us in real bowls, brought us yummy vegan Thai iced tea and even desert! This location has limited seating, with some patio seating for warmer weather. But don't let that discourage you from going in! Love the all vegan menu, makes it easy to choose. It's so difficult to find fish/oyster/shrimp sauce free Thai food. I had the spring rolls and green curry. The green curry was one of the better ones I've ever had. Oh my gosh. This is the Thai food I've been looking for. Spicy (level 4 is solid, sriracha level of spice), vegan and good! The Tea Leaf Salad totally rules, Massaman curry has that perfect cinnamon kick to it, drunken noodles are done PERFECTLY, Panang curry has that fresh kick to it and the Thai Iced Tea with Oat Milk is just a perfect kicker to the whole thing. do not hesitate to give this place a try! i was so pleasantly surprised :')) i've eaten a lot of Thai food around colorado and this place did not disappoint. it tasted just as good if not better than the best Thai places i've been to, and the best part was that it was all actually vegan ! oftentimes i've found that curries have shrimp paste in them so you can't always order them as a vegan, so this was really a dream come true to know that the items were for sure free of animal products. we got the tom kha soup, panang curry, spring rolls, and pad thai - all were delicious. and i finally got to try a thai tea (w/ coconut milk) which my omnivore boyfriend said tasted just like the real thing, it was so good ! the only thing i can think to critique is that the spice levels were definitely more geared to an average american pallet (only mild medium and hot) but i expected that so it wasn't a disappointment. i will 1000% be ordering from them again 10/10 read more

To be honest, I was disappointed in the vegan pad Thai... I'm an HUGE pad Thai fan and I was really expecting to be blown away because of the reviews and the food fell very short, very bland no flavor. My partner got the drunk noodles and loved it - so I was a bit upset I didn't order that instead. However the pineapple fried rice is AWESOME! Would try different things in the menu next time I go, but pad Thai I would get somewhere else. The food is very filling - great size portions! We drove all the way from Greeley to come to this little restaurant. I ordered the soup, Vegan Tom Kha, and it was amazing! THE BEST VEGAN soup I have ever had! My partner got the fried rice and that was very yummy as well. I instantly recommended this place to everyone I know. The layout is small, but there was seating outside. I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants throughout the decades, and I have to say that this is the best authentic Thai food I have ever had. I've been going there every week for some time now, and everything I have had was delicious. Best of all, it's vegan. As a vegetarian, I feel assured that their food is not cross contaminated with fish sauce or any other seafood or animal product. Two of my favorite dishes are the Khao Soi and the Tom kha. Since I eat out so often, it really takes a lot for me to write a review. This gem is the best Thai I have found in all of Colorado! Authentic, super flavorful, large portions, did I say delicious? Maybe one more time for emphasis. Outrageously delicious! I went here for the first time yesterday and got the pad thai and pineapple fried rice. Usually I can keep leftovers for a few days, this is almost gone. I absolutely can't wait to go back! Usually I'm a little intimidated going to ghost kitchens since it can be discombobulating and arduous. Not the case here! Loads and loads of parking. Easy access due to signage. Just walk in and check in with the guy at the counter and boom, masterful thai your way. Going to go back ASAP and try other menu items, cannot wait! Food was amazing, really the best Thai we have had in along time. And it was Vegan! But it took more than 90 minutes to get on a Friday night, which would have been ok if it was ready when I got there. The app had said it would take 60 min so I got there after an hour. They said it would take 15 more minutes and it took more than 30 after that. It was also expensive. OMG! I can't believe my absolute fortune in finding this place. My husband and I are strict vegetarians and so we don't eat fish broth or shrimp paste or the like. We've had such a terrible time finding Thai curry without it. I really wanted Thai for our fourth wedding anniversary (today) and I seriously couldn't have been happier. They have a varied menu with some really interesting and harder to come by dishes (tea leaf salad, pad woon sen, and banana spring rolls come to mind). I've tried around a dozen menu items and there hasn't been a single weak link in the bunch; not one. Fresh beautiful ingredients, prepared expertly.
