I cannot vouch for their burgers or dogs. I almost never go to Drive In or divey diners for anything other than breakfast food, even if it is not breakfast time. Their breakfast sandwich is not amazing, but it does the job, and goes down well when the night before might be hurting a little. They also serve it until 11:30 am, so you don't need to beat the sun up to grab it. Local guy here. Good place for an after beach ice cream cone. Service will not go out of their way for you but it's fine. Skip the food.

The ice cream and shakes are pretty much the only reasons to come here. Those were done well; however, the rest of the food is mediocre/subpar for the prices they are charging. There's also a 10 dollar minimum if you want to use a card. Otherwise you get dinged with a 50 cent fee. I was expecting better, but it is what it is. read more

We walked up from Seacliff, looking for breakfast at Hole in the Wall, which is closed on Wednesdays. We had two Big Breakfasts at Sno-White. It would have been perfect if the closing staff the night before had cleaned the grill, as is usually the custom at burger places. The residue wasn't really noticeable on the bacon or the eggs, but the hash browns suffered quite a bit, even though they were properly prepared. I suspect that their ice-cream based products in the summer are their strongest offering. read more

This is the BEST burger, fries, and ice cream place in aptos! They have so much more too and all the workers are nice and caring. I always stop for a breakfast sandwich. If you're coming back from the beach or anywhere, come here! You can't get chocolate dipped ice cream from Marrianes but you can here. We love their milkshakes and the whole place has a nice retro feel. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast/lunch. (You can also get a banana for 25¢ soo) read more

I've lived in Aptos for 20 years and been to this place once. Well, that's not exactly true, I've been here lots of times to park and walk across the street to the ice cream shop. Anyways, I've eaten something from here once. It was some greasy onion rings because I was desperate and there's no other place close by that had onion rings and well, I was already parked (for my kids to get ice cream across the street). Anyways they were so oily I only ate about 4 of them and my stomach started rumbling (as if I ate Taco Bell or something). Ugh, never again. I live right by this place so I was hoping to have a good experience. The only bad remarks I have are about the cup sizes, and how they answered when I questioned it. The medium cup that comes with the meal is clearly the size of a small. On the sign it says that the only cup sizes are small and large. After questioning he said the only sizes are medium, large and extra large. It seems to me like they are trying to save pennies, and trick the customer which makes me not want to support this local restaurant. read more

Friend and I stopped there for a shake. I used to get them and they were good. I got a cherry shake that was so thin I wondered if it had any ice cream at all in it. Sad to say this Sno White is Horrible. I so wish it was better since I live down the road but they are robbing people of their money serving nasty,small,frozen pattys and charging the same as a place like Betty Burger . The service is below par with young people who could really care less because the place is dirty and smelly and that's not a 1 time incident for I have come here one too many times hungry for an old fashioned burger and left feeling ripped off and hungry..Stay away from this dive..someone please buy it from the current owners and make something of this once good restaraunt! read more

I hit up snow-white about a week ago and must say I walked away disapponted. The burger I ate had no flavor at all, and the patty was to slim for my liking. Couldn't even finish it. The fries were decent though I prefer thicker fries than theirs read more

Bad deal for the price ... the chicken tender meal deal and junior cheeseburger meal deal is over-priced, greasy and very small for this incredibly high price ... add the fact that the owners treated my wife and two grandkids like bad customers .. i would highly recommend that you save your money and go to the safeway for good food at a fraction of this price .. also their Santa Cruz county health certificate issued in 2008 was upside down for all to not-see. read more

Just passing thru and decided to try it based only on the cool retro sign. WOW!! the giant burger was fantastic. The juice and sauce dripped off our elbows, and we couldn't believe the amount of fries they gave us! TONS! We ordered a large fry and it was more than the 3 of us could eat despite our efforts. We have a couple of Sno Whites where I live. They are amazing with huge, juicy, hamburgers at great prices. They give you a huge bag of crinkle cut fries. Soo when on vacation I ran across this sno white I thought woo hoo. That sentiment was short lived. I asked for the biggest bacon cheese burger they had. Now I'm used to the 4 patty monster that the other sites offer. This place only offers two, but hey ok. So we ordered 3 double patty burgers 2 large drinks and a large chocolate milk shake. Food was ready in no time, which was nice. Got in our vehicle and headed out. First thing I noticed was my chocolate shake was actually a chocolate milk, or the consistency of one. What they called "large" drinks were about the size of the mouth wash cups. Already disappointed, I was hoping for a glorious burger and fries. What we got was 3 SINGLE patty burgers that McDonald's would laugh at. The fries were also a bad joke over cooked and under salted the portions meant for a couple of mice. I called to complain and was met with a laugh, click, then dial tone. I will be calling sno white corporate in the morning. read more
