I love Snooze, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because we sat outside in 90+ degree weather. It's hard to fully enjoy brunch when you're sweating profusely before your coffee even arrives. That said, our server was fantastic, and the food was every bit as good as I remembered. We had the biscuits and gravy, the Denver omelet, pineapple upside-down pancakes, and the standard pancake flight, which is an absolute must for any table. What I love about Snooze is that their savory and sweet dishes are equally strong. That's not easy to pull off. YUMMERS! I was concerned when I arrived and saw the long line out front on a Saturday morning to get in. By the time I found free parking in the back lot (major score) and got around to the entrance there was a table for four of us ready. Ruth was our server and she was fantastic. Very attentive and kind. The Rejuvenate drink was refreshing and tasty. The Bravocado Toast was delicious and enough for leftovers to enjoy later. The Sweet Potato Vegi Smashup was also quite good. I can't say enough about this place and the staff. The food is ALWAYS delicious and creative. I had the Bella Benedict which was better than I expected! Perfectly crisped thick crostinis, topped with prosciutto, poached eggs and a unique creamy Italian style hollandaise sauce with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. This was magical! My finance always gets the corned beef hash, because it's that good! The establishment is always up-kept and clean and usually busy during breakfast hours, as expected, but we just love to use the waitlist feature on yelp and have not had a terribly long wait. The staff here is very friendly. You can feel the energy of unity and camaraderie amongst them and that energy buzzes around you when you are there. A special shout out to Courtney, our server this last time. She has a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that made our dining experience that much better. She took great care of us, checked in periodically, and provided excellent service with a smile. The shrimp and grits were also full of flavour and although I am not a fan of grits my companion really enjoyed them. Amazing French toasts! Love the fast service. They have lots of seatings with nice 2 seaters that's nicely utilizes their space. This location has 2 entrances, one from the parking lot and another from the front facing the busy street. I got the bread pudding French toast and it was absolutely delicious. Snooze has a delicious and unique brunch menu! There's truly something for everyone. We loved the pancake flight - what a great way to try the different kinds of pancakes they offer. The fried rice was yummy, savory with a hint of fruity sweetness, and filling. The portion sizes are great. The only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is that every time I've been to snooze, while cordial, the staff is never particularly nice or welcoming. They're still great and quick, they just don't get us feeling super welcome. But overall, we love Snooze and find it fairly priced for the Denver area. And the candied pecans were amazing. The strawberry syrup and cream were def a great combo. And you can't go wrong with chocolate chip. I had a grapefruit mimosa for happy hour and it was nice and tangy. Their honey oat milk latte was my favorite though. Complimented perfectly with my pancakes and I don't know how to describe it but the roast itself was a perfect flavoring - nothing burnt nor overly sweet so it still tasted like coffee. I absolutely love snooze and wish I could bring it back home with me! This was my first stop in Denver after a early morning flight. I had to do the signature pancake flight!! My favorite pancake was the pineapple upside down followed by the cinnamon roll, and then strawberry shortcake. Paired it with their yummy bacon and a refreshing butterfly lemonade. They can do a lot of substitutes - for example, I got the habanero pork belly eggs Benedict on GF bread and it was SOOOO good. We also got a side strawberry shortcake pancake to split, also very good and tasted just like those old strawberry shortcake ice cream bars. They have allergy protocols in place, mark allergy on the order, the food comes out marked "allergy", and back in the kitchen they clean off equipment when an allergy order comes through. I went to Snooze on Colorado and 7th a couple of weeks ago and had one of the best Denver omelets I have had in the city to date. I was excited to bring 5 friends with me this week. We were seated at a round table that was great for conversation. We had the most likeable server and terrific service but when we got our food, it was NOTHING like what I had 2 weeks before. The menu was also very different. I ordered a Denver omelet again which is no longer on the menu, but they made it for me anyway. The toast was not buttered and the omelet was like the quality of eggs at a cheap hotel breakfast bar. I felt terrible that my friends spent about $30 each for a breakfast that was mediocre especially after I raved about my previous experience. I hope that whatever changed in 2 short weeks will change back. Great location, parking in back, long waits on the weekends. We went at 9 AM on a Wednesday and there was plenty of seating. read more

Love the retro decor and the mimosas. I mean, it just wouldn't be brunch without mimosas. Or coffee. They have good coffee, too, with prompt refills. And they ALSO have vegan options, which is unusual for a breakfast joint! The tofu scramble is decent, and they have vegan pancakes as well (I haven't tried them yet). The waitperson had the kindness to ask if I wanted butter on my toast when I ordered the tofu scramble, so extra points for that. (No, I don't want butter, thanks!) If you don't have a reservation, expect at least a 30 minute wait, because they're very popular. But there's bags outside if you fancy a game, and Trader Joe's is just up the block if you want to kill some time and get groceries. Parking is difficult in that neighborhood, and the lots in back are really strict, so be prepared to park farther away and walk if it's crowded. read more

I did an online order. When I arrived, my food was ready and being bagged, however, I also ordered a Latte. The Latte wasn't ready. When the Latte was finally ready, my food had been sitting for 10 minutes and was no longer hot. When I got home (which was only 5 minutes) my toast and (crispy) bacon was soggy and my over medium eggs were cold. Why did my Latte take longer than my food?? Nearby is a Trader Joe's and the 9+CO shopping complex. I arrived at 715am and had plenty of choices to sit. I chose a two person table next to the windows overlooking Colorado Blvd. My server, Kendall D came over promptly. I started with a large Cranberry juice and a hot Vanilla Almond Matcha Tea Latte. Brightly lit with no background music, thou it started later. I got a healthy breakfast with the Protein & Veggie Egg White scramble with asparagus, mushrooms and spinach along with sliced avocado and a chicken sausage patty. I haven't been here in a while, and noticed that now they have a lot more healthier protein and veggie forward options, in addition to the classics like benedicts and their amazing pancakes. The pancake of the day was a protein pancake with hemp, peanut butter syrup, and berries. It was not as sweet as the usual pancake and more hearty, a nice option for a change of pace from the indulgence of the usual dessert-like snooze pancakes. Right from the host to your server actually, they are all super sweet! Food is so good, my favorite is the stuffed French toast, they have lots a great coffee drinks, and a bar so if you're feeling a cocktail, Bloody Mary or mimosa ..I have not had a meal I don't like..seating is great, they have a bar/counter you can seat at, outdoor seating, booths/tables..it's handicap accessible. I've never eaten at this Snooze location...so how can I authoritatively give it a legit 5 star review? The answer takes some explaining. So here goes: Over 10 years ago my honey and I went to this Snooze at 7th and Colo. Blvd. Sat down and were about to order when the power shut down. Shut down as in everything went dark and every machine stopped working kinda shut down. After several minutes it started to become clear that the power wasn't coming back on any time soon and so the nice management folks apologized and then started handing out business card-sized coupons for a free upside down pineapple pancakes--one of my favorite dishes that they've served since day-one at all their locations. Turns out I've been carrying that get-one-free card in the back of my wallet for all these years, and I recently found it when rearranging my Benjamins. Last weekend my sweetheart was out of town doing some yoga torture stint on a beach in Mexico and I was all alone doing errands around the house and in the late morning found myself nearby the 23rd and Larimer St. Snooze. Remembered the get-one-free card in my pocket and so stopped in and cozied up to one of the bar seats at that location. Ordered myself a spicy Bloody Mary, a side of bacon, and ... you guessed it ... a pineapple upside down pancake. Produced my get-one-free card and the bartender/server looked at it, turned it over and looked downright bemused. Then told me he'd never seen one that looked like that, so I told him what I just told you about me carrying around for the last decade or two. He laughed and later asked how the free pancake was. Me? I told him the absolute truth ... the best damn pancake I've had in my whole life!
