Went here for dinner with my family last night. Due to the reviews, I thought this place was going to be really good. Their drinks are either too sweet or too sour. The milk tea was thick and didn't resemble milk tea, not sure if they're using a powder, but it was different. Their Cajun sauce was more on the buttery side than it was in the spicy side. The house fries were very salty. They had messed up my order twice. We were never offered bibs to protect our clothes and the server only came to check on us once during or time. Having to constantly look for the server and ask for a drink was very irritating. We didn't bother ordering desert. This place is ok considering where we are located. read more

This place is delicious in it's own right. It is not exactly like the traditional places in SD with a butter base. This place instead has a tomato base. The food is delicious with it's additional zing from the tomato and I enjoyed almost everything I ordered. I got two lunch specials, one with shrimp and the other crawfish. The seafood was good and tasted fresh. I paid an additional $2 for each lunch item to upgrade to gralic noodles. Don't do it! It's spaghetti noodles with a dash of parm and garlic. Nothing special and not worth it. With the lunch you can choose a drink or a soup. I ordered 2 soups, one clam chowder the other "gumbo". The clam chowder was so great and tasted homemade. The gumbo was disgusting. My daughter tried it and yelped from disgust. It tastes worst then canned gumbo. The "Cajun" edamame was good. It also had the same tomato base as the seafood. I wasn't expecting the edamame to have tomato on it, as cajun food does not have tomatoes in it. read more

My husband and I were craving some seafood specifically Crab legs and found this restaurant on yelp. The wait wasn't too long and they were most helpful with any requests we made! The food was delicious and we'll definitely be back again. The only suggestion I would request is that they have a kids meal because my son is a very picky eater. I've been to places like this before so when I walked in I was a little surprised the employees were wearing anything but casual clothes but since they serve wine I guess that makes sense. This may be a good thing to people but also annoying. When we got there it was us and another couple that's about to leave. Once they left, it was just us and I swear every 5 min someone came over to ask if everything was okay. I think the whole staff came over to ask if things were okay. I understand that's just them checking up on you but.. EVERY 5 MINUTES just gets annoying. I couldn't really enjoy my food since someone was always over our shoulders. It's also a little pricey compared to other seafood places like this. I would rather go down to Mira Mesa to Boiling Crab or in Irvine to Kickin Crab.. This is my families favorite place to go. There are soooo many food items that we love. The catfish with the sauce, gumbo, garlic bread, shrimp, mussels and especially the mangonada. Just recently, my best friend made a visit and decided to use my 5 star account with out my knowledge. Usually she'll give me points to places that I have a 5 star account if she doesn't have one and vise versa. I guess the manager recognized my account from 5 stars and asked her if the 5 star account was hers and she said "no, it's my best friends and she usually comes here". He told her "oh, we don't do that here and she left a really mean review over 5 dollars. If she really needed to save the 5 dollars I would've just let that happen". This manager or whoever that manager is lies and WOULDN'T honor what their 5 star loyalty points. Even though I didn't even go there, he decided to bring up the situation to someone else.
