She addressed my concerns and questions regarding our kitty's current diet and made suggestions. We are transitioning our kitty to a raw food diet and I am so thrilled with the progress and improvements so far. Kat is so friendly, kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.

The volunteers at Paws are amazing, but unfortunately it's time for the management to step down as she the manager Lulu is very unpleasant to work with and very difficult to work with. I've spoken to many of my neighbours who feel the same especially about cats they are trying to rescue. I know she's been there a long time it's time for her to step down and a change and fresh set of eyes to run this charitable foundation is much needed. We actually bought the pup in Las Vegas (Henderson) but had to drive up to St George to get her. They say we can file a claim for the medical expenses (which will be substantial after what have now been several vet visits and repeat medications) but they should have taken care of this problem before putting her up for sale. In all my years of buying direct from breeders I've never had this problem. This is the first time I've ever gotten a puppy from an actual pet store and I will never do it again. Our poor little pup has had to take repeat doses of strong antibiotics and another drug, cleaning up her soft poop has been terrible day after day. Very unhappy with this pet store!
