The atmosphere was really cozy and bright. The staff were really welcoming and did an amazing job servicing me. Didn't feel rushed or felt like they ignored me. They were very attentive. Food tasted great. I loved the crunchy bacon. I will say if you don't like crunchy, slightly burnt bacon. It's not for you. Eggs were great! And the strawberry jam was very tasty. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious. They do serve your coffee and hot beverages in glass cups. I will say they did serve 12oz and above.

Pretty busy crowd for breakfast so I recommend getting there early to grab a table. I was solo so was able to grab a seat immediately at the counter. I do love a good diner counter. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered a black coffee and the Kodiak Benedict. It was pretty underwhelming. Not bad really, but with how much this restaurant was hyped up, I really expected a better breakfast. Hash brown was pretty soggy. I'm hoping this was a one off experience but I would come back to try something else.

Was here today for my 4th time ever and yet again, never disappointed!! The food is always so delicious, the coffee is always really good too. My server Tanner was above and beyond!! Checked in to see how I was doing, how the food was, and what ever I might need... was checking in every few minutes. Coffee never got below 1/2, water never got below 3/4... super attentive and sooooo polite. It was truly amazing considering how busy it was (and always is). There is ALWAYS a wait of an hour or so. It's a cute little restaurant that is always busy... and there's a good reason for that. So, if you have time to wait... it's worth it. I'll be back next month!

We were super excited to have brunch here, and this place did not disappoint! I'll start by saying that if you're visiting on the weekend, you'll probably have a wait, so I highly recommend making a reservation through Yelp before you arrive. We started with the Mimosa Royal. We'd never tried one before, but it was made with Opera Prima Brut, pomegranate juice, and fresh raspberries. Wow! The berries were incredibly fresh, and I had forgotten just how much I love pomegranate juice. We split a cinnamon roll, and in 37 years on this planet, it was the best one I've ever had. Phenomenal! Soft, delicious, and absolute perfection. For my meal, I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and an English muffin. Everything was cooked perfectly! Our server was amazing as well, very attentive and friendly. We also appreciated that the seating wasn't overly cramped. The bathrooms were clean, and the cafe as a whole had a beautiful vibe with bright, colorful decor. This is an absolute must for breakfast or brunch if you're in town. Highly recommended!

Ordered the Salmon Benedict and hash browns. The English Muffin was so tough I had to cut it with a knife. The server took it back and remade my order. It was delicious. The coffee is amazing. Be prepared for a long wait. 68 minutes.

Not worth the wait. I am from California so I should have know better than to order a chorizo breakfast burrito in Alaska. I am not sure if there was any meat in it, and the tortilla was soggy. It tasted like one of those egg, cheese, and sausage frozen burritos where you have to search for the tiny nibbles of beef. The red and green sauce didn't save it, weird flavors that were not good. My husband's BLT was ok, the bacon and potatoes soup had two specks of bacon in it. Still, it would have been ok except for the long wait, and the fact that I was sick and nauseous all afternoon. I only ate half of the burrito and a little bit of the soup so now sure what caused it, but I noted other Yelpers had the same issue. Service was excellent though so for that will give it three stars. Next time I would visit the El Greengo food truck across the street instead.

Cute spot! Parking is a little wonky, but AI said that you don't have to pay for street parking on Sundays? Who knows if that's true, but we did it and didn't get towed, so yay! We got one of the special drinks, which was an Irish cream cold brew-so good! For entrees we got the Ship Mate and the Kodiak. I was trying to get some Alaskan Salmon in my body before we left (really quick in and out trip here) so this was perfect. Food was good! We ended with the pecan sticky bun and YUM!

Snow city remains a staple for breakfast in Anchorage. This go around, I had the Huevos Rancheros and they were delightful. It comes as a full or a half order (one vs two tortillas) and I added the chorizo, which made it even tastier. While it is often busy here on the weekends and during the summer, I feel that they are efficient at moving people through and service is always exceptional!

Still my favorite spot for breakfast in Anchorage!!! This place is sooooo cute inside! Even love the oversized spoon and fork for door handles as you enter. I always come here for breakfast when I am in town and have tried most of the menu. FAVORITE SAVORY OPTION: Go with 1 of the 7 different EGGS BENEDICT options. They know how to poach an egg and have a great hollandaise sauce. Today I ordered the "country Benedict" and it was a cross between biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. It was executed perfectly and delicious! Their bacon here is also really good! FAVORITE SWEET OPTIONS: Don't order pancakes here! They are thick and heavy. However they make the BEST "stuffed French toast" I have ever tried. The combination of the bread they use and fruit just really works. Cinnamon rolls are good (not world famous as they claim, but good). They come with WAY TOO MUCH frosting though so ask for the on the side. COFFEE: Love that they have an espresso machine! They make a decent latte but ask for them to make it hotter than normal. Otherwise it comes out lukewarm. SERVICE: This place is popular and BUSY (especially in the summer). Yelp allows you to JOIN THE WAITLIST before driving over, be sure to do this. Servers have always been attentive and personable. BATHROOM CODE: Wish they didn't require a code! Kind of a hassle. Today the code was 1534

Best breakfast hands down!! Son ordered a milky way latte, and it was very good. Had the Tundra Scramble, OMG French toast, and Kodiak eggs Benedict (crab). Everything was delicious and the waiter was a delight.

A beautiful awesome morning amazing people of the world. We are in Anchorage, Alaska and were hitting up Snow City Cafe for some brunch brunch. It's a highly recommended joint by everyone we spoke to so let's give it a proper go at it. Kodiak Benedict - eggs are perfect, holandaise sauce is a little muted but pleasant. The crabcakes, so surface very well. Its front and center. One of the best bennies i ever had 9/10 Hashbrowns - As perfect as a hashbrown can be. Texture, crunch and flavor is how you would expect from a strong hash. Extremely superb 9.9/10 Reindeer Sausage - Perfectly cooked. Spices used are pleasant and the reindeer flavor is divine. Two thumbs up 8.8/10 If you ever find yourself in Anchorage, Alaska, do give this spot a proper go at it and let me know what you think. Hit that follow for more food and travel adventures by yours truly. Share this review with a smash mode buddy and thank you so much for reading along. I love you Mwah!

A bright interior. Note that the counter seats are first come-first serve and you might get a seat there faster than waiting for a booth.

Everyone I spoke with said I had to try Snow City Cafe. So, we did. We parked across the street in a parking lot that uses a cell phone app to enter your license plate and pay your parking fee. After walking across the street, we entered the restaurant at about 10:30 AM. There was a waitlist and we were told we would have a 45 minute wait. We were also told we could sit at the counter and that was on a first come-first serve basis. We put our name on the list and were called about 45 minutes later. HINT: before getting to the restaurant, you can put your name on the waitlist using an app on your phone. This could significantly shorten your wait time upon arrival. You can see in the pictures what we ate. The Mushroom & Carmelized Onion omelet that my wife had and the Breakfast Burrito in a bowl that I had were both very delicious and very filling. The OMG bacon (see my image) was ridiculously good! We had to finish off our breakfast with their "world famous" cinnamon roll and it was too good for words. The servers were very friendly and efficient and answered all our questions. The inside of the restaurant, as well as the bathrooms, were very bright and clean. Would I return the next time I am in anchorage? 100% yes. They have too many choices on the menu that I would still like to try.

Awesome brunch spot and the service was so nice and accommodating for our big group. We waited a bit but they took care of us right away. Food was good and the drinks were great as well!

I don't get it. Pancakes taste like bisquik. Berry French toast is full of cream cheese and light on berries. Service is friendly.

I know they paused reservations but are they back to taking them yet?

10 days ago, the sign up for seating was in person.

    Did they stop taking reservations?

They still took reservations as of July this year

How much is the wait time in morning around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday if we have reservation?

We made our reservation for Sunday the day before on Saturday. I believe we made the reservation through YELP. And they were slammed when we got there around 11 am. They were on a 1 hour wait but, after checking in, we only waited 2 or 3 minutes.

Anyway, second time is the charm I guess. So the Halibut sandwich was good, flavor was good, the fish was tender and flaky, my server made a mistake and substituted the "American" cheese for Swiss but I loved it! LOL! Seriously made the sandwich taste better. I didn't eat the bun because to be brutally honest as I always am, the bun was of cheap, stale and poor quality, it was barely toasted and not buttered? Fail! The bun on my cheese burger was the same way. The burger itself was cooked perfectly medium well but it was a premade obviously Sysco quality burger which was poorly seasoned which was made more evident by the stale, cheap, poor quality bun. They did have Coke Zero which made me feel a little better. Also at the end of my meal I ended up having to get up from my table and go pay for my food since my server hadn't returned in 15 minutes after clearing my dirty dishes. I don't feel like I will return to this place as there are much better options in the area. The ambiance always feels like I'm in an IHOP at 3am for some reason..
