I was looking for a dry cleaners in the neighbor and decided to try this place out. I went to go pick up these two vintage shirts I brought in last week and they handed one back and said they couldn't clean it because it had holes. I inspected the shirt very carefully before I purchased and there were absolutely no holes. When they showed me the shirt there were holes covering the entire thing plus it smelled like it had been cleaned. I asked them if they could reimburse me for the shirt and they said no. They pretended the holes had already been there and that's the reason they couldn't clean it. I think I would have noticed 5 huge holes on the shirt. The shirt was 100 percent silk and very delicate... I would not have been mad if they were honest and just said the accidentally ruined the shirt. I would never get back again! If they ruin your clothes they will not take responsibility. Just bad service in general. read more

Just not thrilled. I took in 3 sweaters for dry cleaning and 4 sets of sheets for wash and fold. I detest folding sheets and I have decided that it is an acceptable luxury for me to have someone else do it. This was my first time trying it out. After years of watching people walk out of wash&folds with their pretty blue packages, I was so excited to pick up my own. I had dropped off on a Monday. They told me that wash and fold would be ready the next day but it would be Friday for the sweaters. Pretty ridiculous but whatever. When I went back on Friday, the sweaters were perfect. The sheets were clean and folded--but no pretty blue paper! They handed them to me in Hefty bags!!! Expensive. Takes too long. And I'm not going back. read more

I really want to like these guys and make them my go-to laundry service. However, I am unfortunately not impressed. Pros: Convenient, friendly, local. When I brought my peacoat in the young guy behind the counter told me it would cost around $8. Later I received a text from him apologizing because his boss told him it would actually cost $12. I thought it was pretty cool that he texted to check to see if that would be okay with me. However... When I came into pick up my jacket 3 days later I noticed the one stain I really wanted to get out was still there. I told the lady and she was kind enough to put a yellow sticker on the spot and send it through the line again. When I got home I noticed she had put my jacket under a different name which kind of irked me. I called to point out the mistake and had a hard time explaining the issue. Came back 3 days later and was able to pick it up under the wrong name. The stain was gone but the jacket still has tons of lint on it. So I'm kind of wondering what the hell I paid them for? Anyway... if they did a better job I'd be happy to support them! read more

I also really wanted to like this place, especially since they are most convenient for my dry cleaning. They're more expensive than some of the other neighborhood options, but I went here anyway because they are closest and accept credit cards. Their dry cleaning is nothing special and service depends on who's working the front... sometimes they are friendly and other times I feel like I'm annoying them whenever I walk in. The last time I went in there...I caught them lying to me. So, they lost me as a customer... bottom line... I'd be willing to pay up for the convenience if the the service was worth it, but it's sub-par at best. There are far better cleaners with much better service and charge less in this city. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Two years ago the Snow White Cleaners on Clement street burnt my wool pants. A month ago they lost my linen pants, but claimed that I picked them up. The Snow White company is absolutely irresponsible and not trustworthy. I am writing this for everybody to know how lousy their service is. read more

Came off the trail for the next leg of my vacay and had a lot of dirty camp clothes. Snow White was right next door to my Airbnb and they were fast (less than 48hrs return), inexpensive ($1.10/lb), and everything was perfectly clean. Dry cleaning is always done on time, and the few times I've gone in early just to check, it was done. Prices are decent, there's never really too much of a line to drop off or pick up (at least when i go, which is usually middle of the day, never really early), and the lady that runs it is very nice and always has the perfect amount of polite conversation. read more

Went here for convenience - close to my house, so easy to pick-up. My wife had told me they were not that good, now I know she is right. They cleaned a suit jacket, came home still wrinkled, my wife's hair on the shoulder and I had to use a lint roller to get off the fluff. Did they really do anything? I think they just moved it to the done rack and took my money. read more

They have a good way of keeping track of my stuff so nothing ever goes missing, and my clothes come back clean. Good enough! Plus- they have a 10 min. parking space in front, which is very convenient. read more

Crazy expensive alterations.

I am not happy about giving Snow White Cleaners two stars. I used them once and had an excellent result. I actually thought I had found my go-to cleaners. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be. My most recent experience wasn't good. I don't know what happened but the items look as if they did not receive a professional cleaning. Even the press work was bad. To be honest, I only gave them an extra star for the one good experience. For me, there's no excuse for poor service. All I ask is that I get what I paid for. We're done. read more

Been going here for years, no issues, they even take time out to sew on buttons for free while I wait.

i live one block away and i'm lazy to go anywhere else. but this is the THIRD time they screwed up my clothes!!! the first time they shredded my skirt, their response was that's how they received it. because it was convenience, i went back about a year later. They're good with dry cleaning my jeans and sweaters and work suits. But they ended up losing one of my trousers. I STOPPED dry cleaning there. My sister told me they do original alterations for jeans for only $15!!! instead of having to go all the way to downtown and paying double the price, i tried snow white. The first pair they altered for me was great! so i brought two more pairs and I AM SOOOOOO UPSET! they F&$^#% up my jeans! that explains why its only $15!!! they have no attention to detail and my jeans look horrible! i think im going to have to go all the way to go back to cable car to have them fixed!!! im so done with this place! read more
