Burgers are huge. Great prices, get the cheese fries. Seriously. Talk about heart attack on a plate.

So I went with the cheeseburger as suggested by others and had to get the famous cheese fries. Let me start by saying I have no adversity to salting food to accentuate flavors but Snuffers went WAY overboard with the salt. The burger was beyond salty and they sprinkled tons on seasoning salt on top of the cheese fries. Too much of a good thing can kill food. This is certainly the case with Snuffers. read more

Many better burgers in town. Liked the old chicken club but they "dressed it up" but you can special order it the old way. The cheese fries take a year off of your life but are always good. No coke products so always stuck with water or tea. The beer is cold and an ok selection. read more

We went here for dinner last Saturday night around 8 o'clock p.m. it was without a doubt the worst food and the worst service we ever had at a Snuffer's. It took us over 45 minutes to get her entrees after we ordered them. Also, they were out of Ranch dressing. After waiting 45 minutes for food it was room temperature and not hot at all. Have never liked the place but the cheese fries are pretty good, albeit not that hot in like cold almost, perhaps a good way to sober up if you can't drive home just yet, if that's the case you may need two plates. The burgers are mediocre and really I think the whole vibe, there always seems to be crying kids here, maybe I am just crying kids magnet or maybe Frisco families decided to venture out of Stone Briar Land for the night. Big Suffers fan until the old Addison location on Midway was so run down, that the staff and food was a 1 star. The move to Beltline has rejuvenated not only the staff and food, but the obvious freshness of a new location has brightened up the energy of the place. Food is good, as always but the staff needs to be trained in how to clean. I watched one waitress toss the table rag she was using to another waitress, with it falling on the FLOOR instead of being caught. The second waitress picked it up and USED it to clean the table she was at. Gross! read more

The only reason this review has 3 stars is because the food is so good. The service here is absolutely horrible. This was my first visit to the new building- the old location had far better service. Our server took our order, wrong, and then disappeared. Severs kept walking by us and ignoring us. It took the bar tender to come over to refill our sodas. Something needs to be done about service. Have a hostess and sections and I bet service would improve. It's a shame because the food is great! read more

Met some relatives at the Addison Snuffers today for lunch and this is my first time at this location. We arrived at about 11:15 on a Saturday, so it was not busy at all. We arrived after a few in our party and they had ordered some appetizers. We ordered some drinks and they arrived shortly afterward, so far so good. We then ordered some fried mushrooms and onion fries to start along with burgers. Then we wait, and wait and wait. Ask a waiter about our appetizers and he is not sure what happened to them so he goes to check. He said he thinks they may be up in the window. Then we wait and wait. No appetizers, no burgers. We stop a waitress and inquire about our appetizers. She says they may have given them to another table (that by the way came in 20 minutes after us). She goes to check on them. Our tables begin to receive their burgers, one at a time. When she brings our burgers, we again inquire about the status of our fried mushrooms and onion fries. She seems shocked that we did not yet receive them. I tell her just to take it off of our ticket since we now have our food. She says that is good. My husband and my daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger and both are medium rare even though they were suppose to be medium well. Oh well, they are now starving and would probably have eaten it raw. My daughters fries were hot but SOGGY. Not sure what went wrong there but it apparently did. A relative ordered a chicken fried steak for her daughters to share and she attempted to cut it in half for them and it literally cracked in half and the breading shattered it was so burnt. Wow, I would have immediately sent it back !! Her daughters tried to eat some of it but it was not edible. I ordered a turkey burger which was flavorless and dry...... Exactly, why did we meet here???? Not sure what was going on in the kitchen today but it could certainly use some improvement. read more

First time here, seating was wherever you wanted. I was met with very fast and attentive service. I ordered a beer which came out with about 2 inches of foam on top. I ordered the chicken fried steak and garlic mashed tators. The steak was good, nice and flavorful. The garlic tators had way too much garlic. I love garlic but this was almost inedible. Ate the steak and left the tators so I only got half the meal I paid for. read more

This place is great for the Burgers .. (obviously)... There are a lot of tables.. But the only thing is that they dont have a big table or are not able to join tables for a bog party. 9 of us came here on Sunday night for supper.. And we kinda had to get split up. I love their burgers and the loaded cheese fries are incredible. This is by far a cheat meal for me, but it is one of my all time favorites. All of the locations seem to hold service to a pretty good standard. They table share, so you are always taken care of. read more

I have been a fan for years. Service is good and food is normally edible. This week we tried the cheese fries again and they came cold but ate a couple anyway as was really hungry. Suggest ordering food with no salt as they always do overkill on it. Chicken strips were cold as well and had a couple to wash down the Revolver! Burger was tasty with no salt mix on it! Likely my last trip as $9+ lunch items have to be perfect in Addison! Always a crowd of mostly LARGE PATRONS - so guess I played unlucky at lunch - as they seem vey busy and was Friday! read more

Came in & was seated very quick. The waiters service was superb, & the food was even better! I loved that the waiter checked in with us often, like getting us refills and checking if we needed anything. I hadn't been to this location in quite some time. Needless to say, it hit the spot. It was tha bomb dot com!!! We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, chicken fingers, cheese fries, fried mushrooms and 2 drinks. The cheese fries were DELISH!!!! OMG...these are the best in the Metroplex. The chicken fingers smelled a little musty, only because of the spicy seasoning. But, they were good. The fried mushrooms were amazing. I have been a customer of Snuffer's since 1985 (Greenville). No longer. I recently sat to eat with my family mid-afternoon at the Beltline location. Waiter no. 1 took our order and left. Five minutes passed, nothing. I could see into the kitchen and waiter area - everyone was talking to each other and laughing while customers were waiting. The place had very few customers at that point. Ten minutes and nothing. Wait staff and kitchen still joshing around and checking their phones - no food came out ever. At 14 minutes (we were in a hurry) I asked the bartender to speak to the manager. After waiting still longer, another waiter came out and approached me. I explained the problem - after 15 mins no food and no communication from the waitress of what was going on. Finally the manager came out, and I explained again. After the manager went back to the kitchen, our food miraculously was ready. The manager promised to "adjust the bill" for our inconvenience, but when I paid the check nothing had been discounted. I left with the firm impression that at Snuffer's Beltline neither the waitstaff nor the manager cares at all about the customer experience. I doubt I will ever return there (which is a shame because it is my son's favorite place). read more

The service here is terrible. I'm in the service industry myself and I always give restaurants the benefit of the doubt because I understand that things go wrong- but I was so disappointed in the staff and the way everything we experienced was handled. When our server took our order there was a different server that came out and confirmed the order shortly after. Perhaps our server was still in training, that's fine. But then my moms food came out completely wrong and our server wasn't apologetic, she actually seemed quite annoyed at this point. So the "manager" comes over and offers to make my mom a new dish, which at this point we were all so hungry and my mom was afraid of what they may do to her food if they remade it- she was fine with just eating it. The manager didn't apologize, not one time. He tells us he's taking her meal off the bill, but I would've honestly rather heard an apology than have them comp the food. As a server, the first thing we are told to do is apologize when we make a mistake and not ONE employee we dealt with said sorry. We are going out as a family, spending our money to enjoy ourselves and not one person did their job correctly in this situation. After I called the manager back, asking why nobody could just simply apologize, including him, he goes "I thought we were dealing with HER food, not yours (pointing to my mom)" excuse me??? This is how you treat customers? I'm saying this on behalf of my mom because I'm the one who chose to take my family to this place!! And then he sarcastically says "Do you forgive me?" That's STILL not an apology. I told him all we expected was someone to do the right thing, and this is very disappointing. He goes "Okay I understand, so we straight???" Umm sure I guess we're "straight"... how unprofessional!! I am never coming back here again until they can hire staff with proper customer service skills because nobody in there has any idea how to do their job. The manager is a complete joke and needs to rethink the industry he chose to be in. read more

Our office ordered from here today and it was terrible. They messed up three orders, forgot food, and all the manger had to say was that they are too busy. That is no excuse.
