We came here on Thursday for dinner to celebrate our son's birthday. We were seated right away by friendly staff members. We got a nice big booth. We ordered drinks: Margaritas and iced tea. We also ordered their new appetizer: Fire Blossom. Entrees: Grilled Chicken Salad w/Ranch dressing ($14.99) and Road Kill ($13.99) w/Mashed Potatoes & Cup of Chili sides. My Chicken Salad was surprisingly good! The grilled chicken was tender and the salad was fresh, crisp and flavorful. My husband liked his Road Kill (chopped steak w/sautéed onions & mushrooms and Jack Cheese. On a scale of 1-10, he said it was a 7. The rolls were piping hot & delicious! Our Server was very friendly, personable and funny. I'm giving them 4/5 Stars because the drink refills were a little slow. They also forgot my husband's Cup of Chili. Disclaimer- we went on a Friday evening so a full parking lot! After our wait we were seated quickly and dove in. Mary our very capable and informative server laid out all the great specials. My wife had 12oz ribeye w/ shrimp and I picked the 14oz'er. Admittedly we have grass fed in the freezer but occasionally like grain fed. We were not disappointed. I visited this location with my Mom while in Greenville for the day. It was a nice sized crowd on a Wednesday at 4:15pm. We were seated promptly and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. That seemed to be the vibe with all of the staff which was great to see. Our food arrived so fast! Everything was tasty and my medium Ribeye was cooked with perfection! My Mom had the smothered chopped steak and it was tasty as well. I love that this location has the pre-packaged peanuts in the buckets unlike most locations. This location was very clean to include the female bathroom. I will definitely recommend and visit this location again when in the area. They put litter kids yelling in a group of older couples kids yelling and raising hell constantly so much joy can't even gave a conversation withoilit yelling Why would you put a group of litter kids in a section with only older couples in it. First, we were seated with our friends and ordered our drinks, iced tea, the server comes back and says they have no glasses at the moment. As soon as some are clean, he will bring the tea. 10 minutes later we were served the tea. Never did he offer a glass of water to anyone at the table. We ordered our food, and one guest ordered chili as a side. A server brought it first and it was cold. It took 4 tries and over 20 minutes to finally get it warm enough to eat and the rest of food was already served. It's chili, how hard is it to get a simple cup of chili served hot? The main dishes were okay, except for one, his food was severed on another guest plate. So, the server went back, brought out a new potato and we ate our meals. When we finished, the server did not remove our plates or ask if we wanted another drink or even a water. He just asked how we wanted to pay. This was our first time at this location, and it's not as good as Rockwall. Service was lacking - they didn't ask about a high chair even though I had put one down on the online reservation system, and we had a toddler with us. The waiter kept forgetting to refill drinks. The food did not come out as good as the Rockwall location - my wife asked for a medium steak and hers looked medium rare. I asked for medium-well and it came out medium. My ribs had almost zero sauce on them - barely enough to taste it. Oh, and the appetizer came out wrong at first, but that was fixed promptly. The manager did come by and I informed him about the ribs, which he gave me a side of sauce. I didn't have time to talk with him about the other issues as I was dealing with a toddler who wouldn't sit still. One good thing - the ambiance is better than Rockwall - this restaurant is bigger and not nearly as loud inside. Also a lot more places to stand or sit out front while waiting. Chicken was a little overcooked which made it dry. Sweet potato was delicious. Steak had a little too much fat. Baked potato was bigger than normal and good. Service was fast and no empty glass. The service was incredible! The waitress took wonderful care of us. We started with some fried pickles that were to die for! My husband had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. I had the kabobs and the meat was a little tough at times. We finished with the apple pie, and that was a little disappointing. It tasted store bought instead of freshly made. The Manager named Will would not turn off the fan he started to walk to turn it off BUT since he saw my husband is black, wouldn't turn it off. I told him I was freezing, I had to put my hoodie on my head. My food was cold due to the fan. It was a miserable experience. Another customer asked for the fan to be turned off, Bancia turned off the fan. I stopped Bancia and asked her to turn off the fan. Bancia did tuned off the fan.
