If you're looking for a good sports bar, don't miss out. The food and customer service is great. The wings and quesadillas 10/10! The drinks are good.

First time coming here but it won't be the last. I came on a Friday for a ladies night happy hour. It was a decent crowd. My server was great. Very attentive. And the wings and fries were pretty good. I'll try the crab egg rolls next time. They seem to be popular.

My cousin and I decided to come out to watch the game and get a bite to eat. We wanted to stay local and ultimately landed here. As soon as we walked in there was a DJ on the 1's and 2's. It was pretty packed but we were able to get a table for two in the back section that is off the bar. Our server Ty was on point. I ordered honey old bay wings with sweet potato fries and cauliflower bites seasoned with old bay. My cousin got the crab mozzarella sticks with regular fries. The food came out hot and everything was delicious! The menu is by QR code otherwise I would have posted the menu. It was several tv's in our area so we could watch multiple games and the music added a nice vibe! It's street parking and a parking garage right next to the establishment. Do not park across the street in the Market parking lot! That was emphasized several times on the microphone. Cool spot though, I would definitely return:)

The food had good flavor especially for a sports bar. The drinks were strong which is a good thing. This place was lit with a DJ. It's small inside but service good and it's a chill spot.

Visited with a few friends during brunch on a Sunday. Seating for big groups is a bit limited and awkwardly placed. We were seated in the back room with a table against the wall. This made it difficult for us to speak to each other since we had to either turn left or right to be facing someone, which means my back was to someone else throughout our meal. As for the food, I ordered the shrimp and grits with bits of bacon. I also got a chance to try the French toast bites. My meal was a 10/10. Shrimp was bangin and grits cooked very well. I just wished the portions were larger to match the pricing. My only gripe with the restaurant was the food presentation. The food was plated with flimsy plastic party plates and bowls. As for the service, our waiter was kind and professional. There were a few mishaps with an order and she apologized profusely for it/ corrected it. By the time we left, the bar area was packed! This seems to be a great spot to grab a drink with a few friends and listen to a BOMB playlist.

Super laid-back spot for drinks and food. It was kind of busy, but we were seated right away. The waitress was able to put 2 tables together to accommodate our group of 4. We had wings and fries, and quesadillas. The food was pretty good. The wings were topped with the sauce vs completely covered, which was fine with me since they were whole wings. I took 2 stars away because the drinks weren't our favorite. We had the Hennessey margaritas and regular margaritas. The margarita mix tasted like sweet tea (in both drinks) , which wasn't bad, but definitely wasn't giving margarita.

The turkey burger didn't stand a chance!! It was perfect!

On a quest to support Black owned businesses we popped in here with my stomach touching my back. So darn hungry!!!! Like it was my first meal of the dat at like 5pm lol anywho... the food was so good I didn't get a pic until the aftermath. The atmosphere was clean and lively. Music was great, loved the sports memorabilia abound the bar and plenty of tvs. The bartender was nice and checked in on us throughout the visit. Okay... the food! I went with the Freddie Gray burger. Blackened turkey burger with pepper jack cheese and all of the fixings served with fries. The turkey was seasoned to perfection. A nice spice level.. if you're not a fan of spicy don't go with this option. I have never had a turkey burger that was packed with so much flavor. So damn good! Wasn't crazy abt the fries. They were bland. Some seasoning sprinkled on them would've sealed the deal. I'll definitely be back!! Check them out

    Great place for Happy Hour

I had great things about the relatively new Black owned sports bar that opened in September 2022. I must say So Baltimore didn't disappoint. Located in the Canton area this could become a neighborhood gem. We went on a Thursday for happy hour and it wasn't particularly crowed at 5:30 when we got there, but the DJ was pumping out the tunes and we quickly found seating. JB was our server and she was very personable, and able to fill us in on some of the more popular menu items. She was also very prompt with get our orders to our table in a timely manner. I orderd one of the happy hour drink items, white Sangria. If you like your Sangria sweet, then this drink is for you. I had 2 :) I started with the crab mozzarella sticks and baby they were divine. They come with a salsa like dipping sauce, but these babies don't need any help to taste good, they stand alone. We also ordered the chicken cheesesteak quesadilla which was enough to share. This was also very flavorful and highly recommended. For my main I ordered the Jerk Salmon Caesar Salad. The salmon was seasoned perfectly. Not to worry if you don't like heat this jerk isn't spicy, but thoroughly enjoyable with perfectly cooked salmon. We ended with the Apple Caramel Cheesecake Eggroll. It comes with ice cream, but we opted to not have the ice cream. Let me tell ya'll, this sweet delight comes out warm with a cinnamon sugar coating and a caramel drizzle cut in half and ready for sharing. I tasted every calorie, but it was all worth it. There are several flat screen TV's throughout the bar ready and waiting for your favorite sporting event. They also have a small dining room if the bar scene isn't your thing. Fitz, one of the owners happened to be there and was happy to take pics with us. Btw, they have happy hour specials daily and 25% off for teachers on Friday's. On the street parking is also available with no problem. I'll be back:) check them out.

Service was good! The music 10/10. it's very sportsy so, if you like watching sports and love Baltimore culture come here! The shrimp were good. They are known for their bar bites. I say give it a try. My second time here and the food, service & drinks did not disappoint. The service was good too!

Man let me start off by saying this was a last minute celebration for a friend over east Baltimore. So i didn't know what to expect. But when I tell you I was pleasantly surprised by every part of So Baltimore. Only negative I found was the location makes finding parking tough. I had to circle round for bout 20 minutes until someone came out. But that was the last negative of my night. This isn't your normal sports bar it's loaded with tv's so it's not all that we all watch the same thing crap most make you watch. The waitresses were amazing constantly making sure we had everything we needed & the best part was dey had very nice attitudes. You know how some places you go the waitresses are so nasty. It was great to have waitresses that enjoy their job & nice. It was after 9 so i played it safe with the cheese fish's egg rolls. Lawd when I tell you these things were amazing. I was mad I didn't get some to take home. The chicken was good had a little too much batter on it but wasn't bad. The menu was full of lovely options that make you think for a second exactly what you want. This is the perfect place to come for Happy Hour, sporting events, or a guy/girls night. Nice area for the dance floor it you feeling hood & want to bust a move or 2.

You see it's gone ! Salt / Vinegar wings , crab / mixed sticks !! Amazing drinks / food & the game !!!

I had been dying to try this place out!! I heard that their food was amazing. Unfortunately, it was over crowded and we waited 20 minutes in the lounge area an no one ever came and asked if we wanted anything. We ended up leaving and I was hoping that the services would have been better. Maybe next time cute little spot overall.

It's so wonderful to come across genuine people who are funny and kind in this world. Our server and the owner were so fun and so funny and so nice. It truly felt like visiting a friends restaurant. The vibes are homey, almost feels like a library but not quite, very cozy very comfy. Food: Tomato Mozarella, this was my two fav things in one. Tomato and burrata/mozarella, and prosciutto and melon. Delicious. 10/10. Prawns: so good, so flavorful, and I typically am not a shrimp/prawn girl. Skirt Steak: this was such a juicy and moist (sorry) steak. I don't like chimmichurri (cannot spell that omg) but it was good! The fries were also a winner. Moroccan Hen: this felt like a cookout bbq to be honest but in the best way. It's super flavorful, very smoky, and SO juicy. Drinks: watermelon marg, orange espresso cocktail, and I cannot remember the blue drinks name but all delicious. I fear this is my fav espresso martini to date. Dessserts: the Poe's nest and the Ruby & Emerald. Delicious. No notes.

A few of us came early and got drinks at the speakeasy upstairs which I definitely recommend! It had a great drink menu and cool vibe. For actual dinner, the restaurant itself had an eclectic menu and swanky decor. The service was spotty. I had to ask for water refills 2x. Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.

I wish there were more gluten free options to choose from. I loved the shrimp cocktail and the house-made cocktail sauce it came with. So yummy! I actually found Union Hill while planning my friend's 40th birthday dinner from another state, and from the moment I reached out, everything just flowed. I inquired about hosting a dinner and one of the owners, Matt, got back to me within a day. From there, the planning felt effortless. He answered all my questions, stayed in communication, and really helped bring the whole vision together. We had close to 30 people for the dinner in one of their private dining areas, and when I say the staff was impeccable... they were ON IT. My friend had no idea where she was going, so this was a full surprise. Once we gave the staff the green light, they were ready and immediately started accommodating everyone. Everything just flowed from there. We did family-style appetizers, which I loved because everyone got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was flavorful and came out at the perfect pace. For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was so good. And listen... I hosted the whole thing, ate there that night, AND still had leftovers to take home. That's always a win. They were also super accommodating leading up to the event. I was able to drop off the cake and cake pops the evening before, and I was even able to decorate the private dining area, which made everything feel really personal. What could have easily been a stressful experience ended up feeling seamless. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. The private dining area worked perfectly for our group, and they even have an upstairs outdoor area as well as a downstairs outdoor space, which I didn't get to experience this time but definitely want to the next time I go back. I'm so grateful I came across Union Hill Kitchen & Craft Bar. It made such a special occasion even better.
