    Tuna tartare
    Sha T.

Came here on a Friday. Enjoyed the nice size pool. The water was nice and cool. They do have showers as well as washers and dryers. In addition to the pool, they have a good menu. While here I had the watermelon salad, tuna tartare and calamari. All were good! Of the 3, I loved the tuna tartare the most. In addition to the food I did have several crushes. One being grapefruit. Fresh and boozy! Service was good and the atmosphere was chill. I'll definitely be stopping in again! Ps. If you want a pool side chair, think early.

Had a girls dinner at R&R to celebrate taking the bar exam. We sat at their outdoor bar right on the water. Service was good. For drinks we had strawberry daiquiris, frozen orange crushes, grapefruit crushes, strawberry crushes, and blueberry mojitos - all really tasty and perfect for summer. I had a crabcake sandwich with truffle fries. Others had chicken caesar salad tacos, burrata blt sandwich with fries, and the turkey club with chips which were all tasty. We had a great time.

I can see myself visiting Raw & Refined in the summer. I ordered the Calamari ($18), which had a sweet chili glaze and a side chipotle mayo. Overall, the flavor was good, although the breading was falling apart. Their Coconut Mojito ($13) was really good and refreshing. They do add soda water which is a little different from the mojitos I had in the past. The service was good. Me and my friend were the only ones at the outdoor bar near the pool. I did feel like the bar counter was sticky though and should have at least been wiped off.

I love Raw & Refined! It is one of the best places to hit in the summer. The outdoor bar with the pool has the most unique vibe in the city. I love the drinks- Big Deck Energy will always be the best IMO. The nachos here are excellent as well. The bartenders are always super attentive and sweet. I love the views of the marina/harbor.

Froze was so tasty and refreshing for a pool side treat! Great smash burger and we tried the BLT with Burrata. This comes on a potato roll and I requested it with sourdough and it was GOOD!!

I dropped by after a walking event. I truly appreciate them opening up the space for us to decompress and socialize after. There were supposed to be drink specials, but I couldn't tell if there were any or not. Servers worked hard to take care of the large crowd. I ordered a few small plates& The jerk chicken sliders were a highlight. I like their guacamole and chips as well. I wish the hummus came with veggies and pita versus chips--- maybe that's something to they can consider adding to the menu. The breeze was nice in the outdoor space, so it's definitely essential to get a shaded table on a hot day.

As a restaurant, they're pretty good with a great location. But I love this place for their events. I try to keep up with their lineup on Instagram, they're always so much fun and a pretty good deal. Many events collab with the on-site swim club, which is a nice treat. I also had the best time at their goat yoga - highly recommend. Their staff is friendly and attentive, a small but tasty menu, beautiful outdoor seating right by the water.

I went to Raw & Refined with my friends for a happy hour and it was everything we needed for a perfect night out! First off, the location is perfect on the harbor, and the vibe of the restaurant is totally cute and chic! The cocktails there are delicious! I had the "Big Deck Energy" and it was amazing! It was perfectly balanced and not too sweet, but it still had a good buzz! And our server was the best, he knew all about the menu and gave us some great recommendations

I celebrated Fathers Day here with a group of 11. The service by Laurel was great. The atmosphere was chill and the vibes and views were great. To drink I ordered the Promenade Paloma which was a good choice. As an appetizer I ordered the Calamari and the Tuna Tostada. The Calamari was way too over cooked that it pretty much tasted like fishy breading. The Tuna was light and fresh. The taste was standard. For dinner I went with the goat cheese cavatelli. I enjoyed this as a vegetarian dish. It seemed like there was a bit too much white wine in it, but I did like it and my cousin ended up ordering after tasting mine. I kind of wished there were mushrooms, but the broccolini was just fine. The Chesapeake Flatbread was what you'd expect. I loved that there was actual lump crab meat. Hack: Dip the flatbread in the pasta.

Such a fun place to stop and grab drinks or a bite to eat. Absolutely loved the outdoor bar and views. Great service in a fun upbeat atmosphere. We ordered guac and chips which were tasty and the drinks were delicious.

This location has changed concepts a couple times, but the current version thankfully survived the pandemic! The location is fabulous, with wonderful indoor and outdoor seating facing the water and marina. They have recently expanded to the bar area next to the pool as well. It's not clear to me if they own the pool or have an agreement with the owners. The menu is delightful! At one point they had more flatbread options, but now they have reduced that section of the menu to offer more appetizers and entrées. Great decision! On our most recent trip we shared a variety of choices: The tuna tostada is tasty, but oddly portioned and difficult to share. It would be far better as an appetizer if it had a third less tuna/topping, and/or was split between two or three smaller tortillas. The fried calamari were amazing! The flavor profile is great and the dipping sauce is phenomenal. The burrata was equally amazing. It felt like a deconstructed bruschetta/burrata combination. The housemade toast was perfectly prepared, the burrata was soft and creamy without being runny, and the tomato chutney was flavorful and well prepared. For entrées we tried the cavatelli with goat cheese sauce... Which was absolutely fantastic. We also tried the Coppa flatbread. Honestly I can't rave enough about this flatbread. It's a must have. Finally we tried the lobster roll. The truffle Parmesan french fries were shoestring style and crispy. They were well prepared and well seasoned. The lobster roll itself was overflowing with lobster meat and very tasty. Honestly the entire dish as well executed... so I know this may seem odd... but I probably wouldn't order this again. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this dish. It's just that the other options were so amazing I don't think I would choose this one over them. We tried literally every specialty cocktail on the menu. And I'm using the word literally... well... literally. Every single one of the specialty cocktails was amazing. You absolutely should come here if you have not been here, or just have been away for a while. If you're a regular, then you already know!

Took advantage of Raw & Refined Monday pool day. A drink, appetizer, and pool entry will cost about $60. Traveling from the DC area will require you to pay the toll so have your EZ pass ready. The DJ offered a nice playlist. Arrive early to as it starts to get crowed around 2ish and order the Guacamole and Chips.

No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍
