Love this place! Been coming since they were in La Mirada. Glad they came to Norwalk. Also glad they have a variety of mixed drinks now. I love the mango sunrise drink, yum! My only complaint is I can't stand the parents that let their children run around the entrance playing the games that are at the entrance, and block patrons that are entering, and they're screaming loud. Convenient in that it's about 1/4 mile down the street from where I work, so total plus there. It's got the most delicious garlic cheese bread I've ever had - and I do mean EVER; their salads are fresh, their pizzas tasty, and the prices can't be beat. Add to that, they've got an amazing number of toppings and some righteous lunch specials for $10 or less - you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly and attentive and take the time to get to know the names of their regulars (and I'm fast becoming one). Great place for a quick and enjoyable lunch. DELICIOUS!!! I went there once by myself, then with my hubby then with my kids, my momma, and then with my friends. I still have to try many other menu items because I can't get over the Tequila Lime Pasta, the Chicken Broccoli Pasta add Alfredo sauce and the regular salad with tasty ranch. The Alfredo sauce is the best I have tasted, to my opinion beats Olive Gardens! Totally worth your $ especially with the lunch specials. Great service too! The owner asked us to give our opinion about a new salad we ordered (which was very tasty) so that shows he cares about his customers and is open to feedback. My experiance here was not that great, we wanted to sit in the Bar top and I was going to order a alcoholic beverage, but my designated driver was not, he was going to order a non alcoholic beverage and the bartender that was going to serve us said that we both had to order alcoholic drinks, for us to sit in that designated bar area, we also planned to order food and appetizers, we wanted to know if this is a rule, not even busy, not pleased, ended up walking out, that was rude, thanks anyway! This pizza place has become one of our go to pizza joints for our baseball teams. They are very generous to all sports teams when it comes to fundraising and give back more than other local places. The food is good and the ambiance is great. They have lots of televisions throughout and you can catch a game or fight in any given night. The service is prompt and the employees are friendly. I was a long time customers from the La Mirada days. But stopped coming because the service has basically nose dived. Came in to eat with the family for fight night. Got there early so we could get a booth. But because there was 3 of us we couldn't sit there unless we had 4. So instead of a booth they sit us at the table that's the exact same size right under their big screen where you can't see anything. I use to deal with the bad service. But when you do this stuff in front of a child. That's the last straw. I even tried to ask them about using a booth because it was empty. They offered me a refund if I didn't like their policy. As soon as you walk into the establishment, your greeted with a herd of kids playing air hockey to your right and basketball, driving games to your left. They have a good selection on their menu. We ordered a extra large pizza w/12 slices, an individual spaghetti with 2 meatballs that also included a salad & ranch dressing. Garlic bread included. I must admit their food that we ordered was really good. I walked up to the bar and was greeted by their bartender Tyleen. I ordered a pitcher of beer with two glasses. She asked me where I was seated and offered to carry my pitcher of beer to my table. Talk about personalized service, awesome! So Cal Pizza has about 13 tv flats screens showing various sports games or events, with the volume completely muted on all tv's. There was absolutely no music, no arcade game noise! I asked one of the workers who was cleaning tables if he would slightly raise the volume of the flat screen TV immediately above my head on the wall, he did raise the volume. Then a few minutes later, I noticed that the owner was bothered with the fact that the volume of the tv above our table was raised. He came up behind me with out excusing himself & nor did not politely asked if he could remove any items from our table, reached over my left shoulder & took our 2 empty pitchers and simply walked away. Then 10 minutes later, we were asked in a nice way to be done & leave because there was another group who has reservations. On Saturdays you can get an Extra Large 2-topping pizza, 12 piece appetizer of your choice, and a large salad for like $40. Yes, it's worth it. Between my husband and our 3 kids, we did not finish and took half the pizza home. We ordered the boneless bbq wings. They were crispy and large with a nice amount of sauce. The salad had olives, tomatoes, cheese, and seasoned croutons. Delish! There are a few games for the kids, not many, but you come here to eat, not play games. If you're looking for a low-key night with delicious food excellent service, look no further!!! This was my first time here and the family and I wanted to hang out and watch the game without waiting hours to be seated, so we decided to head in to So Cal pizza, and we were not disappointed! We walked in and there were televisions everywhere, there was no way you could miss the game from any seat you decided to take! As soon as you walk in, you order and choose your own seat. Might I add the the girl who took our order was so patient with us since it was our first time and we had questions, she was polite and even suggested how to order the appetizer in a way that'd it'd be more affordable. We ended up ordering an XL pizza, salad and wings for four people. I wish we would have only ordered one large Pizza, since they're so big. Everything tasted so fresh, and the wings were quite possibly THE BEST WINGS I'VE EVER HAD, and that's saying a lot since I like to consider myself a bit of a wing connoisseur. I just want to start off by saying the staff here are the friendliest people. The bartenders and servers are very friendly and will go out of their way for you. The OWNER/MANAGER on the other hand is very grumpy and rude. Went in for a fundraiser for a team and was very rude about feeding our boys. First of all 7-8 year olds don't even eat that much. 1-2 slices of pizza MAX. It was a Sunday afternoon and our team took up the whole restaurant. If it wasn't for our team going in there wouldn't have been anybody there. That owner needs to be fired or just stay in the back and let his staff run the place because obviously he can't. Drinks are self serve. 4. TV's. They have a lot of them. Cons: ------------- 1. The pizza was lousy. For what I paid I expected much better. It was generic and bland. I was highly disappointed. 2. You pay up front. This is fine except for when they forget to make your food. We got our pizza and I asked where my sandwich was. It took another 10+ minutes because they forgot to make it. 3. When we went they had a DJ. So no sound on the games. No biggie but when combined with the next issue... 4. It's full of people who don't watch their children. The "Lobby" is jammed full of arcade games so there are children running around unsupervised. That's annoying and combined with the DJ makes you feel like you are at someones backyard. There is a Pizza hut down the street that has much more reasonable prices, better pizza, and doesn't feel like a backyard barbecue. I'd stop back for a sandwich but might opt for takeout. read more

I came in to watch the UFC 168 fight. Place has a good atmosphere. Place is big so it has a lot of seating and they have a lot of TVs all around. No matter where you sit, you have a tv close by. The food was pretty good. I had an XL large pizza that was delicious. I didn't care too much for the appetizers. You could taste the frost bite. The potato skins were depressing and had one sliver of bacon on each one. Cool atmosphere and the manager is hella cool. He thanks you for coming in and considers you family. It was a basic house salad - iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, you know, the usual suspects. The wings were big but bland - the sauce was interesting. It wasn't that usual tangy buffalo sauce - it seemed to have more of a tomato base, which didn't work that well. I am a wing snob, my standards are pretty high, but I see nothing wrong with that. The pizza was probably the biggest disappointment. Everything was bland - EVERYTHING. The crust, the sauce, the cheese, even the damn pepperoni was bland. Costco's pizza has more flavor!
