On my final night during my recent stay in Miami, I began to look feverishly for any boat cruise. Play Time was the sole offer I was able to get. Luckily, it wasn't too far from the Four Seasons, where I was staying. I was apprehensive initially waiting at the Marina, because I couldn't tell where the boat was, where the staff was, how was this boat a cruise or party boat, etc.. Well, shortly thereafter, we were all told to line up and board and a lot more people appeared, and things began to fall into place. I opted to sit on the outside to catch some great views. I helped myself to wine (white and red) that was gratis, free! They also offered beer and sodas aboard the boat. They had vegetables, fruits, crackers cheeses, cookies, and chips, I believe. It was an excellent deal that I purchased on Groupon, that was well worth the $38 dollars. Well, it was on sale that day for $31 per person, but the typical rate is $38. The ride was about two hours and you will sail past million row and get to see celebrities houses. The boat will head back after that. During the course of the ride music was playing, mostly reggae, but a little merengue and rap as we returned to the dock. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone seemingly had a good time. FYI: once you return and exit the boat-- a staff member will be there with a flashlight for your safety (watch your step exiting the boat) also to collect tips for their hard work during the cruise. I bought a pair of tickets on Groupon for a sunset catamaran cruise for my husband's birthday. I found that the deal on Groupon was way better than their website. Prior to purchasing the tickets, I called a week in a advance to book a Saturday trip and to make sure they had room. I called what I'm presuming to be the owner and he was friendly and sent me a text with the website to book online and he'd honor the Groupon price. The hardest part was understanding him on the phone, he sounded like he had marbles in his mouth. Once booked, I got my confirmation email and was excited to surprise the hubs on Saturday. The other downfall was, they didn't update their address for their boat location on Groupon and we went to their Hollywood location. Thankfully I had time to reach their other location in Miami. I called to confirm and it was truly in Miami. When I checked Groupon they switched it to the correct address because I pointed it out. We parked at the hotel parking lot nearby and paid a small fee. It was drizzling so I was concerned about that. We waited by the boats and waited for the earlier tour to come back. I noticed a lot of drunken people tumbling off the boat. One even threw up on the boat but thankfully they did a wash down before we got on. There were about fifty people on our boat. The deckhands and captain were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us some insights on the mansions we rode by. The weather ended up being nice for us. They had good music playing and provided us with unlimited wine, beer, and snacks. Now I know why those people were wasted. The snacks were crackers, cheese, veggies, and hummus. Overall, the boat ride was two hours long and lovely. We actually booked another trip with them a few months later since we had friends in town. A few hours prior to going on the trip, I got a text stating the trip was canceled. We were disappointed because our friends didn't get to experience it. Due to some of the downfalls I've experienced, I would give them a 3.5 star rating; other than that, I had a fun time aside from some of the glitches. read more

We bought their Living Social deal and finally got to go on our excursion after trying to book it for over three weeks. Their reservation process is quite disorganized and not very prompt. The only way they will take a reservation is through email in which they do not respond very quickly or effectively. I went back and forth with the guy emailing me with mainly me just emailing him and then waiting..... Forever. So we finally got to make the trip! When we arrived there was metered parking or valet parking at the Four Ambassadors Hotel. (The 2 options mentioned in the email from Play Time.) It is much cheaper to meter park and call in more time if you need it. This however is not the way we went and paid the huge fee of $16 to valet park at the Four Ambassadors, plus tip. Once we parked and went down to the dock at 9:45am expecting our trip to set out at 10am, we were informed that we are waiting for 42 people expecting a full boat. We waited for 45 mins and not many more people showed. Finally, we set off and the fun started! They had snacks such as cheese, crackers, grapes, carrots, and pita chips with hummus. Plus the unlimited beer and wine!! We didn't have to go far to get to the sand bar in which we docked and they got all the toys out! Kayaks, paddle board, a 6 person float, and wave runners (only included if you upgraded or bought the motor sports package). The day was very relaxing and sun filled. The staff was very friendly, helpful (when you needed a beer :)), and made sure everyone on board was having a great time! We had such a great day on board the Great White! After leaving the sand bar they took us around and showed us some mega yachts! We would definitely recommend doing this trip and would do it again ourselves! read more

The ease of booking the rental, leaving the marina and returning it was effortless. The location is perfect! It opens to a nice mid point to either head south or north. I highly recommend them. If you purchase through Groupon remember to bring $2.50 cash per person for tax purposes. We valet the car at the Four Ambassador Hotel $16 flat rate or $7/hr. If you have time can probably find street parking. The marina to board the cruise is located right behind the hotel. The staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and fun. As you board, one can a grab drink (wine, beer, soft drinks) and lite finger foods (crackers, veggie, cheese, grapes, hummus). I like the fact that it was unlimited, and they go around refilling your drinks. They played tropical relaxing music. The Sunset Cruise has a nice vibe to it, and I would reccommend this experience for birthdays, dates, bachelorette parties. As far as dress code went people were dress pretty casual for women nice beachy dress or jeans and a nice blouse. I wouldn't recommend wearing heels and bring sunglasses. There is one bathroom that was very cleaned and kept nicely (smelled like bleach which is a good thing lol). Overall had an amazing experience and I cannot wait to enjoy it again. read more

It's the Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend 40 us boarded the Mariah for a 4 hour excursion. The boat at first seemed small and did not look like it would fit all of us. But it is pretty spacious. It was a 30th birthday celebration for my friend and they allowed us to bring our own food and beverages. They provided a bar tender for us which made it easy. I loved that they had a sound system to play music as well to make the afternoon of cruising better. The staff gave us a safety talk at first but were not uptight during the ride. They even danced along with us and had fun with the group. We stopped at the sand bar and they gave us enough time to enjoy the water for an hour. I thought the cruise went well and we had a great time. This is a great option for a group trip to do something different. It is beautiful to look at the view of downtown Miami along Biscayne bay. read more

If I could give negative stars, it'd still be too generous... I booked their Summer Fun trip for my friend's bachelorette party and they cancelled 4 days ahead of time. They provided no reason for it other than "we have other private charters that day" - we did not book a private charter so I'm not sure how this relates to us. John Oaks stated he "had solutions" which included directing me to their competitor and paying almost 2x the price Playtime had originally charged me. I used them in the past and it was a bit of a headache, but after this time, I will never use them again. How can you cancel on a group of 8 four days before their scheduled trip? In the end, we lucked out. We found a different company (definitely more expensive) they was absolutely AWESOME and the bride had a great time. ***Let it be known: after I posted this review, John texted me demanding I take it down. Leave your fancy hoochie mama dresses and piggy pumps for another night unless if you want to stick out like sore thumbs! And then they have the nerve to degrade the cruise and its cruisers for how we're dressed. YOU look silly! Unlimited booze! (Yuengling, Yuengling Light, red wine and white wine). Unlimited cheese, crackers, grapes, carrots, broccoli, hummus, pita chips and a soft buttery crumbly pastry that slips my mind...so yummy! There is only one toilet and it served its purpose. It was kept clean. Oh yeah, take $2.50 per person cash only! For tax purposes. Right after you pay make your way to the front of the Great White cause those are the best seats in the house. The food can wait or whoever you came with can get it for you while you hold their spot if you're really that hungry. But trust me, there is plenty of food for everyone! When you call you can only hear information--you can't speak to anyone. I think I'd rather speak to someone in India instead of listening to a recording. In the 21st century this company handles reservations via email. WTF?! Even terrorists have a website. I went through the motions though and eventually found the staff right on the water, and that's when everything went from bad to great. The staff was super cool. They immediately got us some drinks, snacks and they provided some towels to a few people as well. I was on the sunset cruise and this was absolutely a great experience. The music was pumping, the liquor (beer, wine & ?) was flowing, and views of the Miami coast along with some commentary were all perfect. Horrible experience! Just HORRIBLE! I booked my evening catamaran cruise for myself and my husband. A few friends also booked their individual cruises so we all called and scheduled to be on the same evening cruise. Our cruise was scheduled for this past Friday. It was a coordinated effort for everyone to leave their jobs early and drive over an hour to downtown Miami so that we can meet for our exciting, fun-filled evening. When the first couple arrived they were told that the cruise was cancelled and that all attempts were made to notify us of this. Not one person received a call or an email. It should be noted that in the booking process, you are emailed a form of acknowledgement and you must enter your contact information. The vendor "John" became extremely defensive and verbally combative and accused our party of attempting to EXPLOIT him by violating the rules of no groups. We never booked as a group. We booked as individual customers. And we scheduled to all cruise together on the same available evening. That does not make us a group in any way. Is "John" claiming that he only sells to people who don't know anyone else on his cruise because if that is his policy, it sounds like a very bad business policy to me. We were able to reach a few parties ahead of time and told them to turn back - the night is cancelled. The poor schmucks (including myself and hubby) that hiked their tail to Miami all got together and had a fantastic evening at Pericone's and not only made the best of a crappy cancelled cruise but I'm sure we had a better time than if we had gone on Playtime Water Sports Catamaran Cruise. Woke up Saturday morning to find an apology email from "John" informing me that he sent a merge email and due a technological glitch, the emails never went out. Personally, I would have accepted that apology without a second thought but the fact that he accused us of trying to extort him, breaking his policies and hanging up on us FOUR TIMES (yes - 4), his apology is garbage. I've forwarded my reservation confirmation to Travelzoo showing them that I booked a cruise for two and I forwarded his crappy apology email informing me that he screwed up and never sent out a cancellation email. My cruise was scheduled for yesterday, December 2. I took off work early to make sure I'd be able to get to Miami on time since it was a Friday. I had about an hour drive. I got there and parked on the road and paid a meter. Boarding time was not till 6:30, so I went to get a bite. While waiting, a friend, who was also scheduled for the cruise and was on her way to Miami, called and said she had just called John O. and he said the cruise had been cancelled and that he had sent us email notification. I immediately checked my email, and had four others who were also going, check theirs. NOBODY got anything letting us know! I called and spoke with John O. He told me he sent an email and I told him none of us got an email. I asked him why it was cancelled and he said, That's irrelevant. I told him, It's not irrelevant when you have people taking time off work, driving for an hour, and paying to park." He said he'd send me the email that was sent earlier. I waited awhile, then checked my mail. There was nothing. I called John back, and he told me, I told you I'd send the email, and hung up on me. I sent an email letting him know I didn't appreciate him hanging up on me and that I would be contacting Travelzoo and websites like it to alert them of his horrible business practices. He called me back and proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I WAS IN VIOLATION of the rules of the voucher!!! All I did was forward it to friends who had the option to buy or not. Some did. He then told me it wasn't his fault if the mail merge method of trying to send his email didn't work. I guess it's mine?! Really?! He hung up on me again. A short while later he called back again to speak to our attorney friend who was with us. At 2:40 am I received an email from John telling me, You built a group via travel zoo of 16 after you were asked not to do so It is obvious your group are all teachers based here in Plantation It appears to me, you are taken the opportunity to exploit a small business & when this doesn't work in your favor exploit their reputation. Again, efforts were made to notify you the cruise was cancelled This is unconscionable conduct as there are employees that will be effected by your effort Is he serious?? I'd be the one to effect the jobs of the employees??? I beg to differ!!! At 9:20 am today he sent an email apologizing and accepting full responsibility for what had happened. He said that we could book in the future or get refunds. Again, saying he emailed us, and that it was beyond his control as to whether or not anyone received it. This is NO excuse! I filled out paperwork back in October with all of my information. He HAD my phone number....call or text!!! This company clearly has very bad business practices and does not care about customer satisfaction. I checked other yelp reviews and they have done exactly what they did to me to several others. Check them out for yourself. How do you blame the customer, who is paying for you to provide a service, for your shortcomings? We bought a Groupon for a Biscayne Bay Sunset Sail and decided to use it when our friends from Arizona were visiting over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, this sailing of Biscayne Bay was a fun little adventure, but there are some things to know in advance if you're planning to participate. First, the time of this sail does not change. It is always at 6:30pm. So, if you're planning to see the sun actually set in the winter, you're out of luck. If that's what you really want to see, it's best to book this in the spring or summer. Secondly, the marina can be hard to find. There is no signage for Marbella Marina at all. The closest landmark is the Four Ambassadors Hotel which is where the address will take you. The marina is directly behind it. The parking at the Four Ambassadors will cost you $16 for the amount of time you're sailing the Great White Catamaran, but you can catch a break if you find a spot in the street, which is what we did. We found parking right out front for $1.75/hour. One thing to note though is that those meters will only allow you to pay for up to 3 hours. We paid our $5.25, and noted the phone number to pay by phone (thinking we'd add more time to the meter from our phone while we were out on the sail). When we called to add more time to our meter, it would not take our money. So, ultimately, we gambled and won a free hour of parking. While on the sail itself, you'll receive bottomless red/white wine, beer, water, soda, cheese and crackers, fruit, cookies, and chips. There is a small restroom on the boat, so no worries if you're in need! The staff are extremely friendly, personable, and fun and have knowledge of the area. We sailed around the bay, hovered around the Bayside Marketplace area, then set sail for Monument Island and Star Island, where the staff told us who lived where, who bought/sold which houses, including information about Al Capone and his lookout tower, guard house, and mansion. It was all very interesting, but would have been really nice to see during the day. We DID get to see a dolphin jump up a couple of times, so that was cool. The catamaran itself has a bunch of seating cushions, making it a pretty comfortable ride if you're on deck. The weather was a bit chilly though (after all, it was Nov 27), so I'd recommend long pants, a sweater, a jacket and a hat. I was wearing flip flops and wished I'd been in socks and shoes, though there were plenty of other people in flip flops too. This is NOT a dressy affair, so plan for comfort and warmth, and don't wear your hooker heels and short shorts or you'll be sorry (plus, no one wants to see that anyway!). Overall, I recommend this sailing for your out-of-town guests or even for locals who want a cool vantage point of downtown Miami at night. Play Time had the prefect 50 ft Catamaran to accommodate our party of 25. The "Great White" was beautiful and the staff was polite and very accommodating. The sail, the swim, the bbq, and the party as a whole was the highlight of our Florida trip. The ultimate reason why I chose Play Time was because of one man. John Oakes is the ultimate professional and it was his expertise, communicate skills, and follow up that sealed the deal for me. I bought a LivingSocial deal for boyfriend's birthday: catamaran out to Monument Island, paddle board, kayak, snorkel, water hammock, unlimited water, soda, beer, wine for $50 per person. There was another option for an additional $50 to do jetski for 15minutes. That didn't seem worth it. Come to find out the "jetski" is actually a "miniboat." Definitely not worth it. BUT our deal was definitely worth it! The staff were so friendly, laid back, chill, and just fun from the start. Upon boarding, the bartender immediately offers drinks. There's madeline cookies (yummmmyyy) and grapes available for light snacks. We set sail and get a informational tour of the celebrity houses along the water. We were even lucky enough to spot some dolphins! There are 2 paddle boards and 4 kayaks. I was a bit worried with our group size that we wouldn't get a chance to do both, so I snatched the paddle boards right away. After we had enough time with that, I was surprised to find that kayaks were readily available. Sweet. Maybe we got lucky with the people on our trip, but everyone was really good about not hogging the equipment. After our activities, we head back to the boat and find even more yummy (&healthy!) snacks waiting for us: cheese & crackers, pita & hummus, veggies & dip, more grapes & cookies. I wasn't expecting so much, so this really put it over the top. It's a hot summer day, so of course the deck itself gets scorching. The captain made sure to splash some water all around so our feet wouldn't burn. So nice! It's all in the details. Before we knew it, time was up and we had to head back. I've worked with Cecil and Play Time Water Sports five times and I wish that I had posted sooner because I always have an amazing experience! I have chartered the 50 person catamaran for a work event & I have also chartered smaller boats four additional times. And I will keep coming back! They are EXTREMELY professional and easy to work with. When I chartered the large catamaran, my group had a complicated billing preference, and Cecil was very accommodating and made it easy for us. Everyone on board had a great experience, and most of all Cecil makes it FUN for everyone! When I've gone on the smaller boats, it's been for personal use with friends and we always have the best time! Cecil goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone on board is taken care of! He's great at tailoring the experience to the group, weather, etc. Every trip that I've done has been different but they are all great! The boats have a grill for grilling delicious food out on the water, and he was happy to let us connect our music to the speakers. He is flexible and did not rush us along. Perfect option for a fun day out on the water! I can't recommend them more! Whether you're looking to organize a charter for a large group for a business purpose, or just looking to relax and have a fun day out on a boat- you should call Play Time events. Our daughter did all the legwork for us by arranging our trip through Living Social. Our party of 7 arrived at about 630 PM for the ride on a 50' catamaran. It was billed as having snacks along with an open bar. The open bar consisted of sodas, bottled water, wine and beer. I can't remember the snacks, but they were not memorable. We sat in the front of the catamaran and enjoyed the warm breezes. The weather was a bit cloudy, but it was still beautiful. Most of trip we motored out and later the crew put up the sail. We enjoyed the view of Miami skyline from the water. With every positive aspect there are plenty of negatives. For one, the on board music system was way too loud and was not conducive to quiet contemplation of the scenery unless you had noise reduction headphones on. Additionally, the crew allowed smokers and told them to smoke only along the edge. However, they didn't (the crew didn't care) and their tobacco smoke drifted all over and ruined (at least mine) the enjoyment of the wonderful smell of the ocean. The type of people that go on these cruises seem to be those that want to soak up as much free booze as possible and make fools out of themselves. There were plenty of these aboard. Therefore, these cruises are not for families or anyone that is expecting to avoid loud and boisterous people. 4 stars for the cruise, 2 stars for boorish, inconsiderate, and drunk patrons, who think the trip is all about them. read more

The captain and crew were funny guys and are the reason I gave any stars instead of 0 star (or maybe I HAVE to give stars in order to write a review). From before boarding through final docking the experience just wasn't what it was billed as: - the tour was delayed by 2 hours and we were notified via text. - the instructions in the text said to find a pedestrian walkway between the hotel and a bank. The name of the bank in the email is not the name on the banks sign. -the text regarding the delay said to arrive by 7 for a 715 departure. Considering we received terrible instructions in the text message, we arrived on the dock at 7:08 to see the boat pushing off. Fortunately the first mate saw us hurrying and had the captain move back in to board us (not without serious scoffing from the captain). - after we boarded, there was no seating available, so the three of us (including my elderly mother) stood the entire time. The captain fashioned 4 extra seats out of coolers but they were offered to other guests. There were 35 people on the boat....not sure how a sold out, 50 passenger excursion would have worked out, so I'm glad it wasnt a sold out "sail" -I was shocked and disappointed when the boat pushed off and promptly turned away from the rapidly setting sun. I can't believe the company can call this a sunset sail with ANY amount of seriousness. The sun was behind buildings the entire time and was always behind us. -And to be considered a sunset sail where I come from, YOU ACTUALLY PUT UP THE SAILS! If I wanted a celebrity stalking motor boat tour, that's what I would have booked. Sadly, its what I received. Fortunately, the three of us are pretty easy going and enjoy spending time together and outdoors so we made the best of it. Ultimately, my mom was happy to be on the water with her kids and thats really what matters. I share this review so that buyers know exactly what they're signing up for. read more

We rented a catamaran for our group. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of beer, wine, and snacks included. The boat is deceptively large. We found that we had plenty of space to move around the boat. And we were able to let the staff / captain know just exactly what we wanted to see. Probably one of the best Sunday date night activities available in Miami. The staff is super friendly and professional. The catamaran befits it's name: The Great White. The tour is very relaxing and educational if you're into history, real estate and the who's who of Star Island. There was definitely plenty of wine, beer, sodas and water available for consumption, but unfortunately there really wasn't enough of the snakcs to go around, then again, it could just have been the people on the boat were in a ravenous mood. I strongly recommend these guys for a sunset tour, though perhaps during the winter months it should be renamed, moon rising tour since the boat takes off way after the sun has already set. Finally I would like to give extra Kudos to the owner/operator of the company who extended our groupons for us to use even after expiration. Only down side is that there isn't enough cover inside the boat if you happen to be on a tour and it starts raining, and they may want to consider leaving a small section of the back seating area as the step off and step on from the cabin to the boat deck for those who may not be as nimble getting too and from i.e. grandparents etc. read more

My roommates and I had such a great experience that we have taken two cruises! One afternoon cruise and one sunset cruise. I like when things run on time and smoothly. On both cruises the staff (Captain Willy, Miguel, and Cesar) were prompt in boarding us onto the boat and immediately gave a safety briefing. It's clear the staff is knowledgable of how to handle large groups and ensure everyone's safety - especially when alcohol is involved. I was very impressed! Not only did I feel comfortable but I had so much fun! On the day cruise, you have the option to do water sports such as kayaking or just hang out on the deck. The sunset cruise is more classy and something I would do for a date night or some celebration. All around good vibes on both cruises! It's clear they attract great people to come on these cruises! Overall, I'd highly suggest using Play Time Water Sports whether you're a tourist or local. Have a great time! read more

I took my sister out on this sunset tour with me. In January the sun is pretty much down by the time you go out, but the breeze is warm and Miami at night is beautiful. We had unlimited white wine, and were pretty tipsy by the end but we had a great time. There was a DJ who played great music (we laughed when he played Welcome to Miami), and we putted out to Star Island and another crew member gave verbal tour of the celebrity houses and history behind them which was really interesting. I would highly reccommend it, it's pretty pricy at $75/person but see if you can catch a deal- Gordon is a really reasonable guy. read more

We booked a sunset cruise for 2 with snacks via Groupon which saved us some money compared to the website prices. Booking was fairly simple but I had to wait until the month of the date I wanted (we booked for 7/20 and I booked first week of July). I just called and was then sent a text with link to a Google form. When we arrived, getting on was a smooth process and the cruise still took place even with a few clouds and light drizzle. Cesar was our tour guide and Miguel was a the bartender. Captain Willie navigated beautifully. All were incredibly friendly and Cesar and Miguel were attentive with drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the beautiful homes and Cesar was very entertaining (especially the piece about Ricky Martin's house!). There werent many people on the cruise with us but we didnt mind at all and liked having the extra room to move around. It began to rain the middle of our cruise but we just huddled under the canopy and then it stopped. This was our first time to Miami Beach and I was glad we booked this cruise in downtown Miami. It was a great way to see the city and enjoy the views. We will absolutely be coming back! read more

We rented the Mariah for a private party on my wife's birthday We decorated the boat & commissioned a DJ for the party They let us bring our own food & beverage as they provided everything else ( beer, wine, etc) Couldn't ask for a better experience as our whole group had a wonderful time The boat was clean, we left on time & everything we had asked for they delivered The Captain and crew was super friendly & pretty much waited on us hand & foot We will definitely do again & highly recommend Thanks for a great time read more

If I could leave zero Stars I would. I wanted to do a Sunset Cruise to celebrate my birthday. I saw a Groupon for playtime watersports and I purchased it. I also got nine of my friends to purchase the Groupon as well. I called a representative from playtime watersports to ask how it works when you're using a Groupon I told him I had about eight or nine people who wanted to celebrate my birthday with me who all had Groupons. He said no problem, and also responded to me via text message told me it was no problem and told me how to reserve our spot using our voucher number. I called him back telling him the website only let me enter 5 people at a time when using a voucher he told me that was okay to just go back in and reserve the other three spots. When I did so I received the confirmation. The day of the trip I also received a reminder telling me to be on time for the trip. An hour before the trip when my friends and I were all in route to the location I received a text message telling me that I cruise have been cancelled. The gentleman called me, spoke to me in a very snide, rude, and disrespectful tone and told me that because we were Groupon customers we were not all allowed to take that trip at the same time and this is why he cancelled us. Playtime watersports treated my friends and I like second-class citizens because we use Groupon. If you're looking to celebrate anything with a large group of people do not use this company they have no customer service. I always thought that once a company confirm something with you that there was a guarantee that it would work for you that is until this experience. read more

Booked a sunset cruise through playtime and it didnt go well. We showed up on time and a boat never showed up. There were other groups waiting there as well. Everybody was trying to call and text, but no answer. Finally, we started getting answered calls one at a time and was informed that the boat had already left and we were late. Asking why they left early, he hung up. I'm glad Groupon refunded me my money. Don't book through this company read more

If I could give this company negative stars I would. Not only are there no signs to direct you to the boats but they are completely unprofessional and have no regard for customers. There's light drizzle and no current hazards yet they canceled our tour and also didn't inform anyone of the customers. There are 10 customers standing in the rain it sure why we weren't informed. Horrible customer service. They never answer the phone and take much too long for email correspondence. I booked a night cruise with them and it was raining on/off through the day so I called and emailed 5 times to find out if we were still good to go as I would have a long drive to get there. I never heard back. Not wanting to drive there for no reason I ended up not going. Never even got an email or call back apologizing for their poor customer service. read more

LivingSocial led us to this mini-adventure on Monument Island. The Great White catamaran took us out on a tour of my future neighborhood of Star Island prior to our final destination. On the sandbar/island itself, we played with their equipment (insert immature giggle here). I fell on the paddle board twice in my 15mins of possession. Apparently, I have no balance when I'm on two feet. BUT. I am a damn pro when I'm sitting on my butt in a kayak. There were snorkels available too, which we opted out on. For an extra charge, a two man mini boat was available. They limited time of possession on that bad boy. We spent about two hours in the water, which is plenty of time for me. They also provided snacks. From the moment we got on, we were greeted with grapes & madeleines. Once we anchored down, they put out some other snacks including veggies, hummus, pita chips, cheese, & crackers. Included with the groupon were the unlimited drinks. They offered bottled water, soda, wines, & beers. I was throughly pleased with the experience on the Great White. It's definitely worth the groupon if you happen to come across it. read more
