this review is STRICTLY for steve, and not the gym! i had the BEST trainer in the world, but unfortunately he moved to hawai. anyways first of all,please don't be fooled by all the good reviews here about steve, they are fake and probably posted by his friends or family! unfortunately i got fooled by it and decided to give it a try. i ended up quitting training with him after only 2 days!!! OMG this trainer drove me crazy!! first of all he asks you the same repetitive questions every 2 seconds, like do you want water???seriously if i would want water i would just have it, no need to ask the same repetitive questions every freaking 2 seconds.....!!!then he goes on and continues to ask you every two seconds if you are tired or if you are okej!! i told him before we started our sessions, that I'm here to work out hard to achieve my goals, so no need for him to ask me every 2 seconds if I'm tired or if i want water!! i mean here i am trying to concentrate mentally on my workout, and there he is in your face asking the same repetetive questions every freaking 2 seconds.....like a parrot!!! i mean doesn he understand that this is annoying and frustrating for the client??? anyways after i texted him and said that i did not wish to continue to train with him anymore he didn't even bother to ask me why.he just replied okej sorry. seriously, wouldn't a professional trainer wanting to know why his client is quitting only after 2 days????! how ignorant and strange...i have had many trainers my life, but never seen such a weird behavior .....and since i had two remaining sessions with him which i did not wished to continue, i asked for a refund, but he said no...when i went to the owner of the gym(sean),he told me that the trainer at his gym are independent contractors but he also told me that he would have refunded his client back.if you are looking for a professional trainer, please save your money and time, do not see this guy!!! there are so many other good professional trainers out there, that truly cares about their clients.this guy just doesn't........ read more

It's been almost over 20 years since I've had a consistent workout regimine and having to work with a personal trainer for the first time in my life rendered me a tiny bit anxious beforehand. Right away Steve made me feel at ease and helped me gain confidence in myself again to execute the exercises he prepared. I was referred to Steve, by my awesome Chiropractor, for total body strengthening especially core to better prepare me for back surgery. I am so grateful to the both of them for that! I couldn't imagine how much worse I would've been if it hadn't been for Steve. Not only is he an awesome trainer he truly is a caring and compassionate person. He reached out to me more than my own family did after surgery and that speaks volume of what kind of person Steve is. Steve is awesome! He is totally invested in the success of his clients. I have my son going to Steve and the results have been incredible. My son is a competitive swimmer, who trains 26+ hours per week swimming, and he really needed some cross-training to elevate his level of swimming performance. Steve knows exactly which muscles to work to elevate my son's level of performance. in just a few weeks time, my son has dropped significantly in some of his worst swimming events and his strong events, he is a force to be reckoned with! I moved back to the CDM/Newport Beach area a few months ago and was looking for a new trainer and facility. I was working with someone in the Orange Hills area for years and it was hard to find a great trainer and training relationship again. I've never had great results by going to the gym myself as I prefer the results I get with a personal trainer, I need the push and motivation. I'm super happy that I found STEVE at Premier Fitness and started training with him. He's professional and doesn't let me stop at the lighter stuff; we have slowly built up what I can do and I am seeing RESULTS in my tone and shape (and my boyfriend sees it too! LOL!). We work together on what works well for my body type at my age; we discuss food plans and what activity I am doing on the outside the gym to compliment the training we do together. So I'm going through the sites one day looking for a trainer. My trainer moved to Kansas. Why I do not know. I came upon Steve at Socal Fitness. Not only was he friendly, kind and understanding, but gave me the freedom to choose when I was going to begin. It was in my time. Not pushy or with lack of understanding at all. In the last couple of weeks of beginning training with Steve I see where this will be very beneficial to me. He is one of those trainers who is unique in how he trains. Steady and paced so there is rest in between and never boring. I am enjoying training now. Wish I could do more. My daughter is getting married in November and my sense of urgency to look good will help, along with Steve's great motivation attitude. Steve is a fantastic trainer. I am an older middle aged guy with lower back problems. For the past three and a half years I have been training to do three things 1) lose weight, 2) strengthen my core, and 3) overall body tone. Steve is my third trainer during this period. Although we have only worked together for a short time I appreciate his sensitivity to my specific needs and knowledge of physical training. We are doing the circuit thing now and I can definitely see the changes in my silhouette; muscular articulation, core strength, and tone; and stamina. And, he shows up on time! I've been training with Steve for over 2 years right now. I was a little thin and lack of strength before, and This Guy really gives me a great experience of working out.
