Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. I'm still a member so yes, but it could improve.

Many of my answers were met with responses such as "umm, okay," which made the interaction feel dismissive and unprofessional. I understand that recruiters are often busy and screening many candidates, but first impressions matter. Regardless of whether someone is hired, applicants deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.

For example, their CS4 circuit classes target your lower body majority of the time, so if you are a runner then you risk overtraining legs or if you want an upper body workout then you have to just go to their overcrowded weights area. What especially sucks is their hours. They close early on the weekends at 6 pm. Especially during the summer when the sun sets around 7:30pm, you're not really able to get a night gym sesh in. Wish there were an. I think this gym is more for people who enjoy taking classes than those who want an open-gym experience.

I used to complain about it, but management doesn't seem to do anything. I get an email that it's serious or a phone call and I appreciate it, but nothing seems to happen. Just today, I went through the locker room to go to the party that the gym was having, and I saw a girl taking selfies in the locker room. Other women were changing there, so it wasn't like she was all alone. It's super easy to get photos of people changing in the background. I have easily seen people taking selfies in the locker room at least a dozen of times in the last couple years. We change there. We don't have our clothes on. Why is it okay to take a photo? Even if you aren't intending to photograph others, which most people aren't, people can easily show up in the background. It makes me so uncomfortable. I avoid changing in the locker room now, or if I do, I try to hide in the back. Changing in the bathroom stalls isn't easy because things can fall into the toilet and changing in the shower is wet and the showers sometimes get crowded. It has decreased how much I value this gym, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others. I pay a lot for the gym and amenities, but if I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it ruins the experience. And when I do shower here, I have to bring clothes I can immediately change into in the shower to minimize walking around undressed in case someone decides to take a selfie and I happen to be in the reflection in the mirror. This also limits my ability to do stuff in the locker room like put lotion on. If I complain, I feel l get labeled as a "Karen". Staff doesn't seem to care. People get upset if you talk to them, and I shouldn't have to. I get emails from management that they take this seriously, but if they did they could at least put prominent signs on the mirrors in the locker rooms or have staff members remind women in the locker room not to take photos.

Having put in work here for a few months now, I can confidently say that my trainer is very knowledgeable and knows how to efficiently get the results I want. These days I'm in my mid-30s and want to pack on some muscle and a little extra weight so I can squeeze out a few more years of playing rugby and minimize the possibility of injuries. So you've lots of room for specialized training and stretching, even if the yoga room is in session. - In addition to the aforementioned dedicated squat rack / leg training room, this facility has all of the weight training equipment you can imagine, all the way down to kettlebell sets. - The health drink bar is a GREAT addition. My daughter loves the drinks there. I'm not sure if the bar is making any profit, but I hope that this bar is for the long-term. CONS: - This place can get crowded. Also, the general vibe of the place changes entirely based on the time you are there. Since it's so close to Woodbridge HS, the broccoli-haired teens will swarm the place after 2:30 PM. Lunchtime will get you the senior citizen crowd and a bunch of dudes from the Irvine Fire Department, (who are actually cool guys) Good luck with the after work crowd as well. Get there in the early morning and you get those fanatics who are hitting personal best goals each day and those highly motivated people who want to squeeze in an hour of training before work. This demographic can spend too much time on a machine, which can be frustrating if you have to wait forever for them to finish so you can use the same machine.

They rarely turn on the heat so this pool is quite cold when you get in for your swim. I also take their swimming pool aqua classes and really like Carol as the instructor. She's really good at teaching and works all body parts and joints. She always reminds us of our posture so we do our exercises correct. The women's locker room can be improved. The shower stall have weak water pressure and some of the shower heads barely have any water. They also redid the soap dispenser and I feel the soap doesn't do a good job at cleaning so I have to bring me own. Due to lots of use at this gym the locker room and shower areas are always wet and there's hair and remnants of trash everywhere. I do see the cleaning crew constantly cleaning the locker room bits I know it's hard to keep up. Overall good place to get your workout in. There also sign up specials in January for those New Years resolutions.

This gentlemen listen to me closely and heard what I said. The gym updated paper towels and chemicals to wipes. I see staff and cleaning crew helping out by keeping the gym clean. Sweat is being wiped down from the machine. Javier has updated me that they are looking to post signs as a respectful reminder for folks. I want to upgrade my 3 star to 5. Thank you for listening to me and taking initiate. Appreciate it. I will be keeping my membership on going with my wife.

Today, there was a hot pink Lamborghini parked in the handicap spot directly in front of the door. Really? I said something to the front desk, not to be a "Karen," but because there are indeed real disabled members that work out here. Oh... and it's uhhhh... illegal and just plain disrespectful. He shrugged his shoulders, and totally blew me off. Curl management could really improve on setting some etiquette rules for the members it's getting really out of hand.

Our first day was awesome, thanks to Chad, Marco, and Amanda. They really took care of us, answering all our questions and making sure we felt at home. Having both training and running areas side by side? So cool. We kicked things off with a Nike Running class, and Kate was our trainer. She crushed it, keeping the energy high between both the running and weight training areas. Her presence was just next level. She is super inspiring and motivating. On the training side, we had Dominique as our coach, and she's just incredible. She's got this amazing ability to command the room, making everyone feel seen and motivated. She brings such intense energy, and it's clear she knows her stuff inside and out. Dominique isn't just leading a workout; she's creating an experience. She's got eyes on everyone, making sure we're all giving our best and staying safe, all while keeping the vibe upbeat and fun. Her passion for fitness shines through, and it's contagious--you can't help but want to show up to every class she teaches. She's honestly the best! We also tried Derek's class, and he's just as awesome. He pushes you just right, encouraging you to dig a little deeper and keep going even when you feel like stopping. His support is genuine, and he has this way of making everyone feel capable and strong. By the end, you're feeling accomplished and so glad you came, already looking forward to the next one. I would urge people to be very careful when signing up for a membership here. I canceled my…read moremonth-to-month membership in writing (per their policy and contract) on December 24, 2025, but the studio asked once for further info, then never acknowledged the cancellation and continued billing anyway despite me sending multiple follow ups. It is now March and they have continued adding charges for months after cancellation. The balance has now increased to about $477. I have tried multiple times to resolve this directly, including emailing the studio, 3rd party billing and the manager, but literally no one trom the studio has responded to me in writing confirming cancellation. When I spoke to 3rd party billing, Club Ready, they too ignored the cancellation request and tried to pressure me to pay by threatening sending the account to collections. I continue receiving automated billing emails and text messages, along with phone calls asking me to call them to pay the balance. Because I have been unable to get a response or written confirmation of cancellation, I have had to document the situation with consumer protection agencies. I truly hope the studio does the right thing, corrects the account balance and confirms the cancellation in writing.
