Other companies either didn't offer this option or quoted more than double the price. Our sales representative, Larry, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Scheduling and installation were quick and efficient. The installation team did a beautiful job. Apologies for the dirty windows/dog door, we've had them up a few months. After 3 months, the doors are holding up great. We will definitely be using Ameristar again when it's time to replace our windows.

The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

While we really like the quality of the windows and door so far, when I went to claim the federal 30% energy tax deduction for them on my 2025 income tax, Premium could NOT provide the "QMID certification" that their products meet federal energy saving standards required to get that tax credit. Apparently, the firm did not apply for this certification (it's a "QMID number") that one must put on their tax return when claiming the 30% credit. So we are out $850.00 (actual dollars) off our 2025 taxes. You would think that a company selling a product that was eligible for a hefty tax credit would make sure that they could provide proper certification for the customer to claim that credit, would't you? I mean, come on...Nice windows, but... I give them three stars for the nice windows, but they lose two more because of the lack of tax information.

He sent his guys to my home and first they installed the first fixed shower door on the wrong side even though everything was in writing so I had to call Chris to let him know because they were about to the the same mistake in my other bathroom. Obviously holes were made for the fixed shower panel on the wrong side so here I have holes in my tile, which this was 2 months ago and have yet to be fixed by Chris even after numerous calls and texts and no answer. After the finished installing 2 shower doors (9 hours later) they taped up the shower doors so I couldn't slide the doors to check the work but was expected to pay in full before they left and I did (oh mind you he only takes cash or zelle - first red flag). After 72 hours I went to check on the doors, took the tape off and both shower doors were installed wrong, One shower door you can fit your whole hand under the door that closes and opens and the other gets caught when you try to open it and when you close it it doesn't stay shut. Also lets not talk about the fact that his workers left my home a total mess. Metal shavings all over my sons bathroom floor and his bedroom which I did not get to clean up before my son got a piece stuck in his foot, garbage left on the floors, in my small garbage cans etc. Also took me 3.5 hours to scrape all the excess glue that they got all over the shower doors and both of my bath tubs. The list goes on. I texted Chris videos and pictures of everything and he himself was appalled of everything I sent him. I asked him for a site visit and he promised that everything was going to be fixed and we made an appointment for him to come see us. Well I texted him the night before to confirm he was coming the next day no answer. I called him and texted him the next morning because we stayed home for the morning from work to meet him and he completely ghosted us and he was a no show. I continued to text and call him for days and nothing. He has yet to make this right and he took down his FB page and has not responded to any calls or texts.
