Would definitely recommend! We were on family/friend vacation and found this place while searching for dinner. Our waitress Tara was so sweet. Our drinks were filled, and she was super attentive. We had little kids with us and she took their orders first, which was so nice! We had appetizers of the "bog balls", and fried cauliflower. I enjoyed the "bog balls", they came with a tasty dipping sauce.. My friends had the stuffed chicken, potatoes and green beans. They said it was delicious, and it really heated up well the next day. This is a little gem away from the tourist area - a local suggested and wow Amazing food - even better staff (Brie)! Make a reservation it's a must even at 5:30 on a Tuesday!! We used to love this place. It was THE place we went to when traveling our four hours plus to Myrtle beach. Unfortunately management has went downhill. Service/management has turned inconsistent and poor. Breaks our heart when great places turn bad. Maybe one day ownership/management will change and it will be the great place we use to love. I have never had a bad meal here. The waitresses are very attentive and the managers walk around and greet all their patrons. I love their stuffed chicken breast, it's cooked to perfection with a crispy breaking and the white sauce they use is probably the best I have ever had. The wings, Bog balls, calamari and the all you can eat haddock on Friday nights for $9.99 are great also. They make all their own salad dressing and wing flavors. My wife had the Phili steak and cheese the other night and said it was the bomb. Also it's a non smoking establishment now which is great. read more

Great place for food and drink, don't let the exterior keep you away. SS has some of the best food around. Check their menus for nightly specials. Friday night is fish fry, Saturday is Prime rib and is the best I have had in years. The waitstaff are very nice and accommodating. read more

The all you can eat fish dinner is apparently a hit! Sat in the bar area this time. Even busy we had excellent service. Obviously loud with the Fri night crowds. Small home town dinner type atmosphere...being from the north this gave me that "dinner" feel, which you don't get a lot of down here in the south. The menu resembled it as well with a ranging amount of options. They also had a decent size bar which I was not expecting and a happy hour menu. I went with bog balls ( chicken bog fried into a ball) and a rack of ribs (ribs are a special on tuesdays I believe) and they were amazing. My buddy got a burger and some wings and he said each of those were good as well. The staff was excellent and really quick! Prices were not bad either which was cool. They also have a pool table in the back. This place was awesome, although it looks like a hole in the wall from the outside it will not disappoint, hence why the locals talk about it so much.. totally worth your while!! read more

We went today for the Thanksgiving "Buffet". What a disappointment. They had turkey, ham (both ok), canned corn, bog balls, Brussels Sprouts (very hard), cornbread dressing, lumpy hard mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (thankfully). gravy. Rolls were barely warm and hard. So disappointed! We order dinner from here several times a month, so we thought it would be decent. If they need some help for next year, feel free to call me. No pics, sorry. Pumpkin pie was good, wherever they bout it from. I'll cook next year even if its only for 3 of us again! read more

Awesome locals spot. Right out the back gate of market common. Great specials every day, but can't miss Saturday night. $2 domestics to start. Then 49 cent wings. Try the lemon pepper. Really good. But they have about7 other flavors, too. The kicker? FULL rack of fall off the bone ribs, with a huge basket of fresh cut fries...$11.95. We had a table of 10 and everyone was ecstatic about the food and prices. Our bill for 4 of us, with rack of ribs, a few orders of wings, chicken quasadillas, buffalo chicken potato skins, chicken tenders (try the Asian persuasion sauce), and a plethora of drinks, was only $65...and we all walked away stuffed. The nice surprise was you had a choice of fried, baked or blackened. The fried was very good, but the blackened was excellent. The service was outstanding! The menu is extensive. Our first time here. The menu is large with great food offerings and prices. We had the garlic parm chicken wings, very good and calamari, also good. Drinks and service were good. Great food and awesome service. I recently became a local to the area and this is one of the few places I like to visit often. Food always comes out hot and fresh. I call in my orders often and I always hear a pleasant voice on the phone. The root beer float is probably one of my favorite things to get because they actually give you a bottle of IBC to go with it. Grilled chicken sandwich, philly quesadilla, mac and cheese and the burgers are all awesome. Always worth it to visit the Station. read more

I had heard a couple of people mention this little place and they commented that it was really good. When we pulled in, i literally kind of hesitated. The outside doesn't look like what you would expect....BUT Don't let the looks fool you. We went inside to find a very Family Friendly restaurant and were seated very quickly. Our Waitress (Mary) was wonderful!! The service was very quick and the food was brought out just as fast. My Husband ordered the Fish Dinner, and in honor of Ash Wednesday, they had all you could fish. He ordered the fried Haddock, and it came with Fries and Cole slaw. The fish was fabulous. Light not fried 'too done' ... actually it was perfect. I ordered the Meatloaf dinner, I just needed some Comfort Food, and it literally melts in your mouth. It was served with Mashed Potatoes and fresh green beans. Absolutely delicious. But the highlight came when Mary brought out the Fried Brownie!!! That dessert should be illegal!! It was beyond yummy!!! The brownie was deep fried and the chocolate inside literally melted as you cut into it.
