They approached me and pressured me into listening to their sales pitch, and it felt like "no" was never an acceptable answer. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and extremely pushy. After signing up, I did more research and realized it wasn't a good investment for me, so I canceled months ago. Unfortunately, the unwanted contact hasn't stopped. I continue to receive spam calls, and when I tell them I'm not interested, they often end the call abruptly only to call again a few days later. It's become incredibly frustrating. Bass Pro Shops should reconsider allowing this kind of aggressive sales tactic inside their stores. Customers come to shop, not to feel pressured into vacation ownership presentations or deal with persistent calls long after they've declined. Because of this experience, I no longer plan to shop at Bass Pro Shops. It's disappointing that one partnership has negatively affected what used to be an enjoyable place to visit.

They do cash trade-ins day-of-sale unlike most gun shops in the area that only do consignment. They take the time to properly appraise what you bring in, make sure it's legal for sale in California and make sure all the required paperwork is filled out properly. Their prices are generally fair market value from what I've seen considering it's a cash-day-of trade-in. You'll be waiting for maybe an hour at most here to get paid for selling your stuff instead of the weeks that you would with a consignment sale or what passes for a private-party transaction in CA. Could you potentially get more selling privately or putting your stuff on consignment and waiting for it to move instead? Maybe, but their way of doing things avoids a lot of the multiple trips and waiting time that comes with doing either of those other two options instead in California. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have guns you need to sell urgently or if you would just rather not deal with selling on consignment or arranging a private-party sale yourself.

We needed snowboarding gear - the whole shebang - and he spent ages with us, patiently explaining all the differences between boards, boots, gloves, the lot! He even made sure we got a helmet that actually fit (which is harder than it sounds!). It wasn't just about selling us stuff; he really made sure we got exactly what we needed. And he mentioned their snowboard service, to get the snowboard ready to use, which was a lifesaver knowing we're total newbies! Seriously, we were in the store for about four hours, and Thomas was fantastic the entire time. He's super knowledgeable and friendly - he made the whole experience fun, not stressful at all. The guy work there is rude and refuse to acknowledge mistake and blame us and my daughter for it. Today we came in to get my daughter a new ski boot since she feels the boot is not comfortable. They fitted my daughter 17.5 today, but the boot we got last year is 18.5. Surprised by this, we actually found out they sold us a boot of 18.5 shell with 17.5 liner last year! When I asked the guy (who seems to be in charge) how it happened and what can we do, he became rude and says that the boot is trash now and it doesn't matter what they sold us last year. He even blame my 6 year old daughter for walking on the toe. Sure the boot has some wear on the toe pad but come on, you blame a 6 year old girl for your own mistake? When we look closely, the liner can move a lot inside the shell. I cannot imagine how my daughter was able to ski 40days last season with ski team. I told him she can get injured due to this. You know what he says? "Ski is dangerous sport and you can get injured in lots of ways". COME ON! All I wanted was some professional opinion on how to deal with a mismatch between shell and liner and an apology on their mistake. But the response I get is this. What further puzzled me is that how come they boot fitted my daughter 18.5 last year and 17.5 this year. Apparently they don't know what they are doing, or not willing to do it correctly.

Sometimes the owner's dog will be onsite and always loves being petted and will nuzzle you anytime you stop. What sets this store apart from all other shoe stores was their attention to your specific shoe needs and they worked with not just my daughter but myself as well to find the right shoe. Each shoe we tried was picked for us after understanding what we wanted to solve. They even let us try out the shoes around the strip mall and then at home. I really appreciated this and my daughter finally found the right shoe with the comfort, fit and look she'd been searching a long time for. We'll be back again!

At first, the gait analysis and fitting felt gimmicky, but since I was playing with his money, I went through with it. I discovered, not surprisingly, that I needed a stability shoe. The staff brought out several styles in more than one size. I'm a little self-conscious about the size of my feet relative to my height, so whenever possible, I don't take their advice to go up a half size. (Hint: it's not usually possible.) I was surprised by how willing the staff was to bring out multiple shoes until I found the right pair for me. Even though they almost always have several customers and sometimes have a line, the staff members always come back to check in, but not intrusively like restaurant wait staff who ask "How is everything?" after you've just taken a bite. The insoles may seem like a gimmick at first, and they will set you back an additional $120. Since they're going to make them anyway, you should put them in your selected shoes. Like me, you will be sold! They are worth it. They will make your feet feel even better in your shoes! Finally, there's the VIP program, which gives you 10% off all purchases as well as between 5 and 15% cash back, depending on your level of membership.
