3.5, rounded up to 4 stars. Social House 103 has a very upbeat and energetic vibe. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted. I was given the choice of a table or booth and picked a booth. My server, Makayla, could not have been more attentive or helpful. I ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich without bacon or mayo, with a baked potato and a side of Ranch. Everything was served as requested. I really wish I had read my review from two years ago because I should have ordered something other than chicken. Once again, I found the chicken dry and difficult to cut - even with a steak knife. I didn't complain about the chicken because I was hungry and had already complained that the Chardonnay tasted like it was spoiled from heat exposure (awful aftertaste) and it was taken off my check. The baked potato was perfect and the Ranch Dressing was delicious. I'm sure I'll return at some point because Dundee is a halfway point between Ann Arbor and Lambertville - this restaurant is conveniently located right off the expressway. I sat at the bar and Makayla was my server. She is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and she kept my water glass full. I ordered the standard Social burger cooked medium rare and sweet potato tots. The burger arrived promptly, juicy, warm and had good beef flavor. The lettuce, (winter) tomato , onion and pickles were fresh and crisp. The (American?) cheese was fully melted, thank you very much. The bun was a miss. The top of the bun was cool to the touch. It seems to have spent a few fleeting moments begin toasted, but was not any shade of golden brown. Closer to stale than toasted. And the bottom bun disintegrated on the third bite. I finished eating my burger with a fork and knife. Will I return? Probably not. Inconvenient for me and while good, there are better options. The portion of tots was satisfactory and they were served warm. The dining room is your standard upscale sports bar. The restroom was clean. read more

This place has a lot of options to choose from. The menu was large plus an additional brunch menu, and a separate specials selection! Choices choices choices! I went with a side of Mac and cheese as well as a grilled chicken Cesar salad. It was pretty good! The Mac and cheese can be customized here with additional items ranging from hotdogs, bacon and much more. I just kept it plain. The portions are great for the price. The restaurant was very clean and is spacious. For the area I would say it is one of the better options. Service was very good and friendly too! I would come back while in the area. read more

Went back today after 2 years from my previous review. Even though I had a bad experience with the manager we still went in today with a positive fresh start, but sadly it disappointed me. The service was fair but not attentive. I ordered a peach lemonade but it was too sweet that it hurt my stomach. I asked for a peach ice tea instead but they took forever to replace, the taste of the peach tea made up for the delay. So I highly recommend the PEACH ICE TEA. However the Bourbon Glaze Salmon was just ok, not enough sauce and dry, my two sides were onion rings (they were good) and the Mac and cheese was over cooked and had no flavor it was pretty bland and just a pile of mush. The only good thing out of this visit was that my father in law enjoyed his steak and so did my husband. But definitely not worth the drive. read more

Tried the restaurant based on a review from the burger Review Guy. The burgers were great, very juicy and flavorful. We also ordered a pretzel appetizer and they were very tasty. You get four large size pretzels with honey mustard and queso cheese. The specialty drink was $5 and very good, had a good amount of alcohol for the price. Our server was efficient and very friendly. I needed a place to meet up some friends for lunch in Dundee, and chose this restaurant based on the reviews. It did not disappoint! If I could, I'd add another half star to the rating The service was on top of things and friendly. My Bailey's and coffee was made just right, and they had a variety of fun non-alcoholic drinks for my younger friends. The pineapple colada got good reviews from my friend. The pickle fries were quite good--I would order them again for sure. Other items on our order included boneless wings with honey bbq sauce, a kid's grilled cheese, and a PB & Pig burger with loaded red skin mashed potatoes. The wings got great reviews, especially the sauce. I appreciated the fact that there was no issue ordering the kid's grilled cheese for a twenty year-old, as the adult version is a triple-decker and simply would have been too much for her. The burger was cooked to order. I loved the combo of the peanut butter and bacon--it just needed a little bit more of the sauce. Finally, the mashed potatoes were just okay. I wouldn't order them loaded next time, as the potatoes themselves were not hot enough to match well with the cold items on top. It all ended up feeling cold. We've visited social house 103 a few times now, and the service is always great! The restaurant has a bar, but quite a bit of comfortable seating for families. TVs are around the dining room so you can watch your favorite sports team while enjoying their food. Our go-to is always the pb&j tater tots for an appetizer. You really can't go wrong with their Mac & cheese (my personal favorite), but their burgers, salads, and steaks are great as well! Recently, someone recommended to my husband and I that we visit Social House for their steaks. So, we made a special trip down to Dundee to check it out. Social House is located in a strip mall near Cabela's. The restaurant is casual and we would feel comfortable bringing our family here, noting families with young children during our visit and a lot of options on the children's menu. Our server (Dylan) was really helpful and our service was fantastic! We visited on a Tuesday and the "Hometown Hero" was the drink special for $3. We figured - Why not?! This was actually a really tasty little cocktail and you can't beat the price! I also tried to vanilla spiked root beer - SO GOOD! We thought that the steaks were okay to good (maybe a little under seasoned and overcooked), but we loved the sides! Between the two of us, we had the onion rings, mashed potatoes, baked potato, and vegetables. The vegetables were my hands down favorite with the mashed potatoes a close second. For the very reasonable price points, we will definitely be back for steaks and to try more of the menu. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to returning! read more

When I first wrote my review update in 2022, I had a regularly frustrating experience with carry-out orders. This is a positive update based on more recent experiences. Social house does truly have a unique menu within Dundee. They offer a delectable variety of burgers, but what really draws me in is their soup and appetizers. They have pickle FRIES (yep, sliced like french fries!) that are one of my favorite foods on this earth. Within the past year when I order Social House they are on point. No items missing, silverware included, crackers come with the soup, etc. I'm happy to support them in exchange for yummy food. I look forward to recommending Social House in the future, and continuing to enjoy their menu. Give them a visit! read more

Social House 103 is our new favorite brunch spot! There is plenty of seating & the friendly staff makes the experience pleasant. It was cozy and inviting. I opted for the over the top Bloody Mary bar. So many choices of toppings. I will definitely try the mimosa bar next! The food was amazing- we split the bacon mac n cheese & the chicken and waffles. While on a road trip, we stopped here for lunch. We shared onion rings. They were crispy & good. My husband had chili and I had bbq Chicken Salad made with boneless chicken wings. Having deviled eggs in the salad was an unexpected part of this salad. It had lots of cheese & bacon, too. I enjoyed it. To top off our meal, we shared a piece of lemon cake-so light & fluffy! The fast food options didn't seem all that appealing and went with this option to try and eat a bit healthier. A nice salad served on a chilled plate! My hubby and I recently visited Social House on a Friday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Our server, Dylan, was very helpful in explaining the popular menu choices. We started with the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were fresh and the homemade sauce was outstanding. Just the right amount of horseradish with cocktail sauce to make the shrimp taste great. We both got the $5 drink of the month (August's) called "dreamtini." It was almost like drinking a creamsicle. Hubby said it was the best specialty drink he'd ever had. We split a BLT and got separate sides. The BLT was packed with bacon. I got the Mac and cheese and he got their chili. Mac and cheese was super cheesy and the macaroni was perfectly cooked. Full of flavor. The chili was on the sweet side but Dylan suggested adding hot sauce. The perfect solution for toning down the sweetness. On top of everything, the Manager, Kara stopped by our table to see how everything was. Very friendly and welcoming. She gave us a card for a free appetizer on our next visit. We'll definitely be back. They offer music bingo on Wednesday nights and music on the weekends. A hidden gem in Dundee. Very close to us in Monroe. We'll definitely be back. I had damn salmon on my wedge salad and it was well prepared. The beer selections seemed lackluster but my mojito was good. I wasn't crazy about social house, but it wasn't all bad either. I had the deviled eggs and they were disappointing. Instead of crumbled bacon it had bacon bits on top. That was really disappointing and kind of ruined it for me. The wedge salad was OK, but also not great way too much dressing, and it was kind of runny. The salmon was undercooked and not very flavorful Plus the wind sale and had built crumble bacon on it either which usually it does but since it would probably have been imitation bacon bits I guess that's for the best The server was nice, but really didn't know the menu or what drinks they had at the bar. She was under 21 so probably didn't have a lot of experience with the bar menu anyway. The atmosphere was nice enough. They just need to do some real work on their menu. Her recommendations were spot on and you can tell that she absolutely loves the food there which gives you confidence when you're ordering yours. If like me, you're foolishly trying to play it "covid safe" during the pandemic, do not come in expecting anyone from staff to customers to be wearing masks. This was the first time attending this restaurant but heard great reviews about it. It has a great variety of appetizers, drinks and food choices. It was hard to decide. I went with a friend and she liked it so much that she stated she would come again. We both got white sangrias with berries and loved them. For appetizers we ordered fried pickles and fried cauliflower. The cauliflower had a buffalo coating and I'm not normally a fan of spice but liked these a lot. I would definitely do a carryout of these and or get them again. I had the fun guy which is a mushroom and swiss burger with mac and cheese. My friend had the pb and pig which is a burger with bacon and peanut butter on it and sweet potato tots. We both really enjoyed our food so much and took some home also due to the quantity of food. We also both ordered the strawberry fields chicken salad for lunch the next day. I love that the restaurant has patio seating. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed that a lot. In the pandemic, the igloos were great also for customers. All staff was friendly, efficient and professional. I have only one regret that I didnt find out about the cauliflower before this day.
