Met friends for dinner and loved the decor instantly. The menu had so many choices that looked very interesting. Comments were made about the clever wording on the menu as well. The white fish dish was perfect. The chicken kabobs could feed two people. Perfectly cooked. The staff was very attentive. Our group talked for a long time and suddenly realized everyone was gone but no one even once indicated we needed to leave. Our apologies for not noticing our surroundings. Cannot wait to return. We've been meaning to come by Social Inn, just never had a reason to be in the area. It was my cousin's birthday dinner so we decided on Social Inn and we were not disappointed! The food, service and restaurant were impeccable! We started with the beef carpaccio, we had the salmon, chicken kabobs and grilled octopus. We ended with the crème brulee, afrogato and a berry/ice cream/cake mix. Everything was SO GOOD. We left in a food coma. The service was great, they were attentive, quick to respond and willing to give input when asked. The restaurant itself was beautiful, inviting and warm. There were several parties and it looked like we were all having a great time. I would definitely love to come back to try more on the menu and to enjoy the company but their service is definitely above par. read more

My daughter is a super picky girl but she absolutely loved everything and we had such a hard tome deciding on the party menu. This is by far my new go to place. The drinks were to die for as well. Food was fantastic and very nice ambience! We had the dips and they were all great. And the shrimp skewers, lamb and duck were fantastic. It's in a shopping center but definitely has a nice cool vibe inside and a good selection of drinks and wines. We just had the chicken shrimp linguine and rigatoni pasta with sausage and it was delicious! The cocktails are also very very good. Good cocktail and nice selection of moderately priced California winess. For food, we had the mussels appetizer, entrees were beet salad topped with shrimp, and Greek chicken skewers with rice. All the food was flavorful and well prepared. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, it was a very good experience. It is a nice addition to the local restaurant scene. As soon as you step inside this restaurant located in the middle of an unassuming suburban shopping plaza, you're transported to NY or LA, or another cool city center. The interior is modern, sophisticated, and very tasteful. The plates and glasses are beautiful and complement the hip feel of the restaurant. The food compliments the vibe of the place with an interesting menu and relevant ingredients. The menu clearly identifies dishes as vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free/kid-friendly. Every dish we ordered was beautifully composed and wonderfully balanced. We enjoyed the burrata caprese (super flavorful!), the beet mezze (so tender and light), and a honey sriracha salmon (the salmon was perfectly cooked). Given the feel of the place and the quality of the food, the price point felt beyond reasonable. The service was so friendly and down to earth. We live out of town and found this place by accident, but we came back the next day to buy a gift certificate for our friends who live in the area because we enjoyed our meal there so much and wanted to share this great experience. read more

Went to this restaurant May 11, 2024. Seated around 6:45. Took 44 minutes to get our appetizers and by 8:15 when we still had not been served our entree we left. You would think that with service this bad we would not have to pay for the appetizers but we did. I think k the server was so scared/embarrassed that he stopped coming to our table. It was a very cold evening so no surprise we were the first table at around 4:45pm. I like how they open at 4:30, a little earlier than some places. Good for when my kids are hungry early. We had the social burger, the beet hummus, a lamb special, and a grilled seafood trio special. Apparently appetizers are each 50% off when you order entrees. Oh where to begin. Service was quite prompt and server was pretty knowledgeable. The burger was huge, and really liked the charcoal bun. Overall the attention to detail was great with the food. Can tell you the chef is quite seasoned and skilled. Portions here are really big. Beet hummus was quite good too, and again portion was big. Garnish was good as well. The grilled seafood trio was grilled very nicely, and the toast was great. Seasoned well also. The lamp special was pretty spectacular, presentation was very on point. If you like the gameyness of lamb you'll love this dish. This place has got potential!! I'll definitely be returning in a couple weeks. read more

I planned our company event at this venue, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The venue wasn't set up when we arrived. I did it myself. They didn't have enough servers, the food came out late and didn't have any labels for our guests with dietary restrictions. Additionally, we had a contract for a restaurant buyout, and the owner let other patrons in during our scheduled time, but continued to charge me at the contract and buyout price. it took over a month to get a detailed receipt, and the owner refused to correct the situation. I had to file a complaint with the BBB and AG office. I would never recommend this place to anyone else. The drinks were good, but the food was just mediocre. Our entire party never received dessert, only about 10 of the 45 patrons. Stay away! read more
