It has one of the most pleasing textures and flavors I've had in a cake. It is worth coming here just for this, although I will have to come back and try some of their other foods. I would also note that while the quiche looks really good I couldn't justify paying $15 for a slice of it. I realize it comes with a little side salad, but when I asked if I could get it without the salad they said they couldn't charge me less for it. Oh well. My water ran out about 10 minutes into battling the Sahara schnitzel and was never refilled--which felt especially cruel considering that entrée required its own hydration plan. To give credit where it's due, the Crimson Revelry cocktail was absolutely delicious, and the fries were very good. Sadly, neither could rescue the rest of the experience. Between the painfully slow service, the vanishing waitress, and the schnitzel that left me both disappointed and dehydrated, I can't see myself ever going back. Grossman's? More like "Gross, man."

I worked here for 4 days and had a terrible experience with the manager Navi. To start, I need to mention, their kitchen is extremely dirty- so much so that I didn't feel super comfortable eating the food and I felt guilty serving it. He gave me very informal training- I was pretty much just thrown in after 3 days expected to know the entire barista menu and food menu. I was told I was being hired as a barista and came to find that he didn't have his regular kitchen staff to serve his food menu so I was also expected in 4 days to know the entire food menu. At the end of my fourth shift I was told he was letting me go because I didn't learn quick enough which is ridiculous, again, because he didn't give me very formal training. I told him this experience was very unprofessional and unfair- I urged him to let me have another week to really learn everything and he was not understanding and did not budge. I urge anyone coming here to consider supporting other cafes in the area because, again, his cafe is very unsanitary and he was unkind to me. read more

The coffee here is good, but the service is pretty bad. And it's not the nice girls behind the counter, they're really great and welcoming. The owner totally disregarded me as a customer. Here's what happened: I ordered a breakfast burrito, and since they were pretty busy, one of the girls asked a man (who I assume is the owner) to help make it. After about 7 minutes, I asked if it was almost ready since I was running late for work. The guy and girl went in the back to grab it, and I HEARD HER say "it's burnt, I'll make another one". They guy said "no, its fine" and put it in a box and handed it to me. I opened the box, and the top of it was totally charred. Clearly his workers care more about the business then he does. I've been in there before; it seems like he treats the girls horribly. It's really uncomfortable. I wont be back. read more

The coffee at this place is good. The service is awkward. The girls behind the counter were very nice, but then a man (who I assume is the owner), came out from the back and started scolding them right in front of me. It really turned me off. I felt bad for the girls, and the owner made me not want to come back. Like I said, good coffee, but not good enough to go through that awkwardness again. PS- woudnt let your kids play in the "kid corner" unless you want them to contract a disease. read more

Soco Coffee is a gem! I had their caramel macchiato and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly balanced, rich, and not overly sweet. You can tell they use quality espresso, because even on its own it was smooth and bold. What really stood out, though, was the barista. He took his time crafting each drink with care, and you could see the attention to detail in every step. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend! read more

The owners know how to work this business model and keep it consistent. I have been going to Soco for a few months, and I really enjoy it. It has become my local coffee shop and their food is WORTHY! It's not your fast food type coffee shop, in and out and jam packed full of fluff, you can tell he involves the community and engages w/customers. My nephew ordered a Vanilla Shakerato, which tasted good but didn't really taste like vanilla. Not sure if they forgot to put it in or they put something else in.
