Not my favorite. The bread was slathered in butter and the sauce made it super soggy. I was going for a healthier option with veggies, tomatoes, onion, garlic and cheese, so I could order french fries. My boyfriend sent his pulled pork back because it was full of fat. Service was mediocre on a very slow day. Typical bar type atmosphere. We won't be back.

Claw machine. Tiki bar. I got the grouper tacos. We will see how they are. I am writing this before my meal. The waiter seemed to be in a rush but beautiful smile. Scary tree sculpture in the corner. The sweet tea is an 8. Out of ten. The tacos are delicious

A bit chaotic, but in a playful fun way. People running around like headless chickens. I enjoyed this experience.

I was craving a burger and this burger didn't disappoint. The meat had good flavor and the potato bun was delicious. Fries were got and tasty. The sweet tea tastes like sweet tea should - one sip away from diabetes! Service was also good.

Wilted lettuce, brown avocado, crappy white bread and gross macaroni salad.

Server was nice but, the food wasn't. My French fries were very dark, soft and gross, most likely from old fry oil. My wife's chicken sandwhich had old wilted lettuce, the avocado was literally completely brown. They were out of croissants so she ordered the sourdough. It was crappy white bread. The macaroni salad had a very strange tang. Not edible. Won't be back. Sorry for the bad review, but wow, had to. It was that bad.

Outdoor spot. Cute and super chill vibe. Come see Adrian!

Adrian was an amazingly kind and on point Bartendress! As a returning patron, it was nice to stop in again!! And we will keep coming back!! Firstly, happy hour was yum with a nice little discount on a couple tasty and amazing happy hour beverages. Additionally, enjoy fresh (AND YES, FRESH caught) shrimp that is peel n eat (need I say more!)...caught right in front of this spot today! And at phenomenal price. Believe me-- as a local Charlestonian....the prices are incredibly GOOD! And hit the spot! Cute ambiance with a tiki southern vibe. Outdoor seating as well!! And nearby all the local favorite art galleries, shops, pizza spot also owned by SOCO a few steps away. Come see this gem! Just my own opinion but this spot IS a regular repeat that everyone should consider.

Wow, happy hour 4-6p. $2 domestic bottles and $4 shrimp and grouper tacos were outstanding. We'll return!

Good food, drinks, and service! We had the boneless fried chicken and the pimento bacon chicken. We liked that we could pick 2 sides.

There are a few tables outside. Our Lucy would go there with us. Not sure about inside.

Every dish felt curated and intentional. We started with the crab dip and corn bread and both were delicious. The Miso butter that comes with the cornbread gave it such a pleasant Umami note. For dinner we had the Chicken, Scallops, Pork Chop, and Shrimp and Grits. The carrot puree that held the scallops was so smooth, sweet, and rich. It complimented the scallops perfectly. My shrimp and grits were fantastic. The grits were the perfect texture, and the shrimp cooked to perfection. The bone in pork chop was perfectly cooked, was seasoned so well, and extremely tender and juicy. I think I was most impressed with the chicken, sweet potatoes, and bacon jam. It's hard to explain but the bourbon bacon jam almost tasted like how it smells when they smoke a cocktail, in the best way. The sweet potatoes tasted incredible and balanced out the savory chicken. I really can't recommend this resteraunt enough. From the food, to the service and the ambiance, everything was fantastic. I've dined at a handful of Michelin starred resteraunts and the overall quality and completion of the dishes here easily competes and surpasses those experiences. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner

For the main I decided to go with the scallops. They were cooked well but could have been seasoned a bit more but still good. One item of note is that the scallops meal is a bit light so if you are really hungry, get a side item or maybe something else. The service was really good. She provided suggestions, checked on us often and was very knowledgeable. A good experience overall.

Here's a fun, original review you can post for Buzz's Roost:…read more If you're driving from Charleston to Myrtle Beach after work, do yourself a favor and skip the predictable Taco Bell drive-thru. Instead, take a scenic detour to Georgetown's charming Front Street and Riverwalk, where dinner feels like the start of a mini vacation. We pulled into Buzz's Roost around 8 p.m. on a cool, damp Friday night in May, and the New England clam chowder was exactly what the doctor ordered. Warm, creamy, and comforting, it melted away the stress of the workweek with the very first spoonful. Our blackened fresh fish sandwiches were outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning had just the right kick to remind you that simple food can still be unforgettable. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. With its exposed brick interior and waterfront setting, Buzz's Roost feels like a cozy warehouse transformed into a laid-back riverfront hangout. Friendly service made us feel right at home, and the skeeball and foosball tables were tempting enough that we're already planning a return visit. I can easily picture coming back on a warm summer evening--or even during football season--to soak in the Riverwalk views, enjoy a great meal, and unwind. They also brew their own beer, which is a nice touch. My only wish is that they offered a non-alcoholic beer on draft for those of us making the road trip and keeping it light. Buzz's Roost is more than just a restaurant stop--it's a reminder that sometimes the best part of the journey is pulling over and discovering a place you can't wait to revisit.
