Took about seven hours since I'm coming from another state. And the insane part, was that I only went for the tiramisu. When I got to the food truck, I was surprised to find out that the tiramisu I was trying to get is no longer "in season." but the awesome guy at the front explained that the new flavor was the apple crumble. And he also mentioned that he loved this more than other flavors. So that was enough to convince me to get it and I will say,.. that was the best tiramisu I've ever had in my life. If you're reading this review, this is your sign to go try that apple tiramisu before it's gone. There were a little bits of apples that were just bright little surprises of flavor. You had a very traditional tiramisu look, but the flavor was beyond what somebody could imagine. It wasn't overly sweet, it wasn't overly wet. Everything about this tiramisu was perfect. If 303 decides to keep this on their menu, that would be one of the best decisions ever made. I would come back just for that. Moving onto the person who took my order. This person was absolutely perfect. Not only was he super fast and efficient, he was extremely knowledgeable about the food and even convinced me to give to my other addiction, which is cheesecake. I really enjoyed the small chat we had, but more importantly, I really appreciated his enthusiasm for the food they sell. I didn't expect to get such good service at a food truck close to midnight. But that cheesecake, wow. I knew this cheesecake would be out of this world when the cashier guy told me that mascarpone was in the filling. You can't even begin to imagine how many levels of lusciousness this cheesecake was. And not only that, this is one of the very few, if not only, American cheesecake maker that doesn't dump tons of sugar in it. The cheesecake was perfectly sweet. And what threw this over the top was the berry compote. The berry sauce had very low sugar, and it perfectly worked with the cheesecake. At this point, I can't believe how much I've actually written about this experience considering how fast I was out of there. But with that side, the atmosphere was amazing. There was a good group of people lined up to get food. But the hilarious part was at the food truck was what looks to be in a strip club parking lot. I could be wrong but I just found that to be interesting. There may be a lot of of you who are browsing the reviews and are finding out that these desserts are a little bit pricey. But let me tell you, aside from the fact that this spot uses high-quality ingredients to make their desserts, the quantity they give you is massive. I guarantee you won't finish it in one day unless you are me and have a serious addiction to their food. Give their food a try at least once, and you'll probably end up going back repeatedly. I know I'm gonna go back. It's worth the hours long drive. Because then you'll have amazing food to eat on the drive back. It's large enough to share, with distinct cinnamon and carrot cake flavors. It was decent, different. Overall, it was a good meal, but if you're coming here specifically hoping for spicy New Mexican green chile, you might be left wanting a bit more chile and heat. Also, the price is high for a food truck.

It was delicious on its own and only $7 ($6 for the sandwich and $1 if you add fries). It was a fried chicken with Teriyaki sauce, pineapple, tomato, lettuce, and wasabi mayo between a roll, I mixed up some deli mustard and sriracha and added to the sandwich. Did I have a smile on my face? Yes. Ordering fries on their own are $3 and ordering almost any sandwich or burgers are $6. Delicious looking gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. While I love their meat jun (thin beef slices coated in egg wash and pan-fried to a golden color),my favorite item to get is their loco moco. The basics of a local moco is a hamburger patty placed on top of a bed of rice, which is then covered by brown gravy and topped off with a fried egg. While basic in concept, it tastes so good together. What makes Grindz 2 Da Max's special, in my opinion, is the sauce - they use a gravy that is richer and more flavorful than the average brown sauce. It's so good. I also like getting their fried noodles. While simple, it's a flavor that reminds me of Hawaii, especially with it being topped with tons of pink kamaboko and green onions. The other item I love is their fries. It's the skinny cut fries and I get the extra crispy. To bring it back to little kid days, I will get a side order of teriyaki sauce to dip them in. While the food is great and the ambiance of the restaurant is very reminiscent of Hawaii, I give them 4 stars because the speed of service can be slow especially during rush hours.

While my favorite, the chicken alfredo was not special as well. I'm definitely willing to try some other flavors but the flavors I tried so far today definitely did not impress. There was a lot to be desired when it came to the food and I say that as someone who is typically happy with most meals I try.

Saw the 'blue truck' at St. Rose Hospital San Martin campus this morning. Ordered 2 empanadas (buffalo chicken & beef & chorizo). They were cooked fresh and served hot. SO good!! Also ordered 2 cheesecake empanadas for dessert. Don't pass this truck by if you are hungry. Also, a large selection of juices & snacks. Staff was very friendly. read more

Fresh and delicious empanadas. I had the beef & chorizo and the mac & cheese, both were amazing. They have a hot sauce that has a nice kick of heat and went well with both flavors. Some of the worst tacos I've had in recent history…read more My first gripe is that a number of the tacos priced on their webiste aren't the same for the listed price either on social media or quoted in person. One example being their pork belly taco; was quoted as a higher price in person versus what it says on their website. Speaking of which the pork belly tacos and fish tacos I had were almost inedible. They were both deep fried and were just overly fried/cooked. The pork belly to the point of a almost "carbon" state. Besides the poorly cooked pork belly no other distinguished flavors came through. There was some type of sweet sauce and kimchee slaw but I couldn't tell you how either tasted since everything was so muddled in flavor. The fish tacos were equally as bad. The fish pieces were so small and heavily coated, I couldn't taste the flesh, on top of the previously mentioned state of being overly cooked. The "fish nuggets" had no moisture to them. I could some-what taste a heat/spice component with these tacos, but once again, no real distinguished flavors to where I could easily identify the other toppings. There was a patron next to me who got his own pair of tacos and he agreed with my overcooked and dry sentiment. He mentioned he was happy being at a brewery since there was beer available to wash down the dry food. This meal was a complete waste of money. I can safely say I will never order this food again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

They have pork belly, Thai chicken, asada steak, tuna poke, salmon and even avocado tacos. I've had the pork belly, it's crunchy fatty good. The Thai is dusted in corn starch which makes it crispy and the asada comes with a kimchi onions good twist. The tuna poke is very fresh on a hot summer day. Definitely try that.
