It seemed like a great day to finally check this place out! Inside is a cute and calm space that's extremely tidy- no notes in that regard. The person who was getting my order was friendly and helpful. She recommended the dulce de leche latte which she said was the most popular coffee drink. As the day progressed, the tables started to fill up. I get the impression that they have a loyal following of customers which is amazing. However, in my opinion, the food was extremely underwhelming. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, cheeseburger, and ranchero empanada. Looking at the descriptions, I figured I would love the cheeseburger and the ranchero and the cashier recommended the chicken alfredo. The cheeseburger and the ranchero were disappointingly mediocre. While my favorite, the chicken alfredo was not special as well. I'm definitely willing to try some other flavors but the flavors I tried so far today definitely did not impress. There was a lot to be desired when it came to the food and I say that as someone who is typically happy with most meals I try.

I had to leave some of it on my plate, so I wouldn't go into a food coma. As always, the service there is on point and friendly. The host and server does not miss an opportunity to make sure to check up on you and provide water, or whatever beverage you're drinking. They're very sweet and run a pretty efficient shop. The cooks really I did themselves this time! The restaurant is always cleaned... The wait staff is always on top of cleaning the tables, and making sure everything is orderly. The bathroom is also clean. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, so you can see the cooks in the back, preparing the dishes, including mashing up the plantains to make the trifongo. If you are in town, you must try this place. I recommend the roasted pork and the fried chicken. Of course, if you're looking for something on the smaller side, you can try the trifongo. Be patient though, if they are particularly busy, you may have to wait, and they may be out of some things. Over the years, I've learned to ask what they ran out of. Enjoy!

Saw the 'blue truck' at St. Rose Hospital San Martin campus this morning. Ordered 2 empanadas (buffalo chicken & beef & chorizo). They were cooked fresh and served hot. SO good!! Also ordered 2 cheesecake empanadas for dessert. Don't pass this truck by if you are hungry. Also, a large selection of juices & snacks. Staff was very friendly. read more

Fresh and delicious empanadas. I had the beef & chorizo and the mac & cheese, both were amazing. They have a hot sauce that has a nice kick of heat and went well with both flavors. The service was efficient and I didnt have to wait a long time for the food. The people who run it are friendly and hardworking, good people. Give this place a try! read more

They were both deep fried and were just overly fried/cooked. The pork belly to the point of a almost "carbon" state. Besides the poorly cooked pork belly no other distinguished flavors came through. There was some type of sweet sauce and kimchee slaw but I couldn't tell you how either tasted since everything was so muddled in flavor. The fish tacos were equally as bad. The fish pieces were so small and heavily coated, I couldn't taste the flesh, on top of the previously mentioned state of being overly cooked. The "fish nuggets" had no moisture to them. I could some-what taste a heat/spice component with these tacos, but once again, no real distinguished flavors to where I could easily identify the other toppings. There was a patron next to me who got his own pair of tacos and he agreed with my overcooked and dry sentiment. He mentioned he was happy being at a brewery since there was beer available to wash down the dry food. This meal was a complete waste of money. I can safely say I will never order this food again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

The Thai is dusted in corn starch which makes it crispy and the asada comes with a kimchi onions good twist. The tuna poke is very fresh on a hot summer day. Definitely try that.
