Very good, very rich. So, like some of you, I saw this place on Chronicle. We had no idea this place existed, so we went. They remade that old building by the Woburn golf course. It's very nice now. I think it was abandoned for years. Easy to get to. Big parking lot has 2 different ways in. The entire first floor of this building is the restaurant. Super big inside, the room goes way back. Very tastefully decorated. Dark wood, dim lights, lots of glass walls. Open kitchen. There's even a small private room in the center with all glass walls - like a fishbowl. Larger private room off to the side. We got a nice booth. Menu is excellent. Lot of dishes I haven't seen before. Fried polenta sticks. Burrata ravioli. We got steaks. Perfectly cooked. I got the burrata ravioli which is EXTREMELY RICH. I do not ever have stomach issues eating out, but this one got me. I don't know if it was the heavy cream sauce or mushrooms on top, but it made me pretty queasy after. Now, I'm not docking them for that because it was amazing- this is more of a note for you that when you order it, it's a lot. The sides- Potatoes were good, the fried polenta sticks were addictive. Asparagus was ok. Met the owner - he's super nice. Even the staff had nice things to say about him. It's expensive but it's a really nice place. 20 October 2025 Matthew, Before I share my experience at your restaurant publicly, I wanted to share it with you first. Sadly, while we were at the restaurant, no one there seemed too interested in how completely unhappy we were. Your greed was on full display Saturday night. We arrived for our 7:00 PM reservation to celebrate my birthday. We were seated in the dining room at the end of a long row of a party of 18 or 20. Please explain to me why you seat a party of 20 in the open dining room? A party of 20 is a PRIVATE party. This was like a night out at Chuck E Cheese. As there were so many of them, they had to continuously yell down the table at each other, frequently tossing things back and forth to one another. That was fun. Despite your dress code of "no hats and business casual", this group were all in ripped jeans, hats, crop tops and slippers. Several of the women's slippers were removed and under the table all night, leaving them all barefoot. So classy. The young lady who was at the end of the table, and right next to us, flossed her teeth all night long. She also liked to wear the tray for pizza on top of her head at various times throughout the evening. When she got tired, she would lay down on the banquette (with her head about 5 inches away from my husband's lap) and play on her phone. When her bottle of soda was empty, she repeatedly spun it around on the table, knocking over most other things on the table, and spilling many glasses of water. Such a good time. That was the 'quiet' part of our dinner. Then came the Happy Birthday singing. 20 drunk people singing Happy Birthday and banging on the table repeatedly was exactly what NO ONE ELSE in the restaurant was looking for for their Saturday night out. But, that's what we got. You couldn't turn down the bill for a party of 20, and you didn't take one second to consider all of your other guests in the dining room that night. We watched as all the other tables around the group sat in disgust. One young couple gave up on ordering their after dinner drink and left unhappily. The party of 8 family members who were seated right across from this group, continuously turned around shaking their head at the fiasco going on right next to them. No doubt, like us, they too were looking for a quiet night out. Here are some of the times we had been at your restaurant previously: *We came one night for a lovely dinner and went home and got engaged. *My son brought us here to announce his engagement to his wonderful girlfriend. *We came here as a family to celebrate my daughter receiving her PhD. *I took my Mom here for a lovely pre-Christmas lunch, which would turn out to be her last holiday with us. So many wonderful events were celebrated at your restaurant, but that is all gone now. We will never be back. You made it abundantly clear that money and greed are your only priorities, and that goes against everything we believe in. Aside from our terrible experience with your clientele, the service was even worse. We waited for more than 15 minutes for our waitress to arrive. When she did, she expected our dinner order, although we hadn't even ordered our drinks. When she brought the drinks, we had plenty of time to finish them before she came back to take our order. Our salads arrived and within 5 minutes, our soups arrived. We said that we had only just gotten our salad and the waitress said "Well, I'll just leave these here on the corner of the table until you're ready for them." Needless to say, they were very cold by the time we got to eat them. Our dinner came MUCH later, after it had clearly been sitting under the heat lamps for some time. When anyone approached us to ask what was wrong, no one even pretended to listen. They simply kept offering me another glass of wine. One woman approached to ask how things were and when we started telling her she cut us off and said "I only came by to see how you were doing. I'm not going to stand here and listen to you complain to me." ?????? So, why exactly did she come over? The young man that came over a few times simply kept saying "we have no control over who is seated in the dining room". OF COURSE YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!! Enforce your dress code. Don't seat huge parties in the dining room at the expense of all your other guests. When guests are being disruptive, challenge them. It seems pretty simple to me. The only thing that was on display Saturday night was your complete disregard for all of your guests. We are so incredibly disappointed in you and your staff. read more

Service: Not great. Got there at 8. Had a reservation and waited 10 Minutes before being seated despite there being lots of open tables. Once seated, waiting another 10 minutes before anybody acknowledged our existence. Not a great start. Food: Cesare salad: excellent. Prob the best thing we ate Frito misto: terrible. Mostly fried carrots - yes, carrots in frito misto. Random and not welcome. Salsiccia pizza: Excellent dough. Like really good ferment and cooked perfectly. Good chew etc. the sausage was cubed and there was a wild amount of oregano on it. Really took the whole thing down hill. Porchetta: This was the worst of pretty much all ways to make porchetta. They could've made it with the crispy skin on the outside or they could've made it really porky like a pork shoulder. We arrived on February 14th, 2025 at our reserved time for a nice romantic Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant is on the first floor of an office building with plenty of parking. The place was packed, as expected. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away. Our waitress, Tiffany, arrived at our table right behind the hostess and greeted us very warmly and with a beautiful smile. She took our drink orders and was back straight away. When ask about the menu Tiffany made great recommendations. She was spot on! From the appetizers, entrees to desert everything was absolutely delicious. The food presentation was amazing. We were not rushed onto our next course as some restaurants do especially on such a night. The waitress, Tiffany, checked on us a few times but was not intrusive. She also took pictures of us when asked without hesitation. Sogno gets 5*****s for Ambiance, Service, food and drink. The only disappointment we found was that our wonderful happy waitress, Tiffany, who waited on us all night except to deliver us our check was injured and left to get treatment. We hope she is okay. I met a friend here for dinner. Never been here before. I had the meatballs and beet salad for apps. Meatballs were delicious, and I just love beets. I ordered the veal chop for my entree, it was delicious and a big serving. It came with mushroom rissoto which was amazing. There was so much rissoto, I took 2/3rds home for a midnight snack later. My server was very polite, professional and paid lots of attention to drink refills and clearing plates once empty. My husband made a reservation for this evening to celebrate our anniversary. We had heard positive reviews about this restaurant. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. Our server was lovely and definitely tried her best. Salumi platter was mediocre at best. Menu states roasted red peppers would be included. Not a pepper in sight. Instead a small (and I do mean small!) dish of four cauliflower florets and three slices of carrots - completely flavorless. The cost: $35 I then ordered the filetto (filet mignon) which is accompanied by garlic mashed potato and asparagus for $59. I asked the server if the brussel sprouts could be substituted for the asparagus. She informed me there would be an "up charge". I agreed to the charge, though did find it odd as asparagus and brussel sprouts are both the same price on the menu. When the bill arrived we were charged an additional $6 for the brussel sprouts bringing my meal to $65. The filet itself was just ok - I've had better at other local restaurants. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing. However, quite loud. I wish our experience had been better. read more

This restaurant does not disappoint. I booked the private dining room for a company party and everyone has been speaking about how great of time they had. The space itself was beautiful and arranged in an inviting layout for guests to mingle. I worked closely with Matthew to ensure the seating setup, menu, and drinks were tailored to our needs. I appreciated the level of communication we shared, his willingness to be flexible in terms of any food modifications we needed, and his attentiveness throughout the event to make sure we were well taken care of. The servers were very kind and accommodating to our guests as well. We ended up having more people come than expected so the wait staff was able to quickly add additional seating, which was amazing and much appreciated. We enjoyed the customization of our company logo on the menu and the flexibility wait staff had with our needs. I've read reviews about this restaraunt saying that the wait staff has treated people poorly based on what they look like. Given that I live very close, I still wanted to try it out. The first time I came here with my boyfriend, we were stared at by almost every person working in there. Like somehow, just by looking at us, they thought we couldn't afford it. Mind you, we were very much dressed for the occasion of a nice dinner out. Maybe our tattoos and nose piercings threw them off? As if that dictates our character? The food was okay but not worth the anxiety so we didn't go back. Yesterday we ordered take out (because seriously the service was shit but the food was okay) and after that experience we will not be back. My boyfriend went to pick the food up, in his normal "just got out of work" attire (he was picking up TAKE OUT) and again, was stared at by every single waiter that came into eye view with him. He got the check book and was about to pass it to the host who was directly infront of him, and then her (im assuming) regulars came in, and she flew past my boyfriend and went to bring them to their table instead. She literally stopped what she was doing and said "oh! We have your table ready!" Even though she was about to grab the check from my boyfriend. He ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes because she chose to take someone else who came in after him. I've worked in restaraunts for over 10 years, and the energy in this place screams "we dont want you here if you cant look the part" after last night we will not be back, very disappointing and shameful. read more

I attended an early dinner at Sogna featuring their Chef Jason Maynard, Guest Chef Mary Ann Esposito, a gnocchi demo and recipes from her new book 'Ciao Italia'. The spinach gnocchi were dainty edible pillows floating in a marscapone sauce so delectable that neighboring conversation ensued about the fortunate ones who still had some left in their bowl when their bread basket arrived. The tomato based broth for the cod prompted me to ask for a spoon to ensure I didn't miss a single drop. A citrus & fennel arugula salad w/toasted almonds was a refreshing prelude to the creamy panna cotta dessert. Mary Ann was a genuine & gracious host as she made her way to every table to greet the guests. We all left with a signed copy of her new cookbook. read more

I had a reservation for 4 people at 7pm on a Wednesday. The location was kind of challenging to find and the exterior makes it look deceptively small. The ambiance inside has great lighting and looks upscale, clean, and very Italian! We were seated immediately on arrival and the restaurant was decently busy. To start, we ordered the Arancini and the Burrata. Both were delicious. The Arancini might be one of the best I've ever had. Each bite had cheese pulls for days and an absolutely immaculate flavor. The burrata was great but the tomatoes that accompanied it were a bit firmer than what I usually prefer. For entrees, we ordered the salmon, the roasted chicken, a margherita pizza, and the Carciofi pizza. The salmon was great. My grandmother is sensitive to a lot of things and they catered to her with such care! Cannot overstate how kind and understanding our server was about her preferences. The chicken itself was a bit dry. It was crispy but lacked the moisture one usually craves with a roasted chicken. The broccolini that accompanied the chicken was actually broccolini rabe and I found it to be so bitter that I couldn't eat it. The polenta, however, was absolutely delectable and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Margherita pizza was so damn good. Literally exactly what you want from a margherita pizza. The consistency of the dough was exquisite. The Carciofi pizza was good but a little too heavy on the garlic for my liking. Overall, the vibes were great, the service was excellent, and the food was pretty good. If I dine here again I'll be sticking to pizza and probably going with a pasta over a meat entree! read more

My husband and I had our first dining experience at Sogno last night. We have two young kids so we don't get out for a solo dinner often, and I do a lot of research for when we do so we have the best chance of having a good night. Sogno was most definitively a win. The ambiance was very classy and I loved the whole vibe. Even the chairs at our table were oversized and comfortable, prompting one to have a drink and stay awhile. I hate when you're stuck at a cramped table and basically on top of other diners just to fit more tables in. This was not like that at all. Right from the start our server Brent was just lovely. He admitted he was newer, and the menu had just changed 2 days before, but you would never be able to tell if he hadn't told us. He answered our questions honestly and gave excellent recommendations on both drinks and cuisine. We went with his recommendation for our appetizer which were the arancini balls and they were delicious. My husband also took his advice about the Salmon and he assured me it was fantastic. ( I don't like Salmon so I took his word for it.) I ordered the burrata raviolis and they were like heaven in my mouth. They only give you 4, but these are like twice the size of normal raviolis and they left me with just enough room for dessert. The wine list is extensive and we both enjoyed our glasses. Also to note the water for the table was served ice cold which is just how I like it. For dessert my husband ordered these gelato filled tacos ( I can't remember the name) and the chef even gave him an extra scoop of gelato with it on the side since my husband is a glutton for gelato. Such a nice gesture. I had the Affogato, my first experience with this, and it was the perfect ending to our night. The mascarpone gelato melded perfectly with the dark espresso combining a sweet treat with an after dinner drink. I've already raved to several friends that they must try. After going here once and being disappointed in the food (dry fish and chicken) we never thought to go back despite knowing many people who are regulars and really enjoy it. A friend gave us a gift card so we gave it another try and were once again disappointed. This time we tried pasta dishes and they were just so mid, lacking flavor and left us confused again. The eggplant appetizer was delicious but everything else we tried here was such a fail. The dining room is also very loud and our table was close to several others. We asked the bartender (we were seated at the bar) and she did apologize and said they had a large party so our order was delayed. The setting offers space between each party, it has a dark cozy feel, and could easily be a nice restaurant in Boston. It's also nice that there is plenty of parking. We made reservations for dinner at Sogno for my husband's birthday Saturday night and the full experience was just ok Open Table was flawless for making the reservations - we were able to make reservations, notably that we were celebrating a birthday & it all when perfect The hostess was Awesome, we had to wait at the bar because we were early and we all were happy too - the bartender was not attentive to us but after 15 min we were able to order drinks - the drinks were delicious especially recommend the Italian Margarita. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the wine wall amazing, seating was beautiful, the rooms gorgeous! We were seated at 7:30 (reservation 7:15) our server seemed overwhelmed with his section, he did review a few specials and then took 25 minutes to come back to bring us water, although the waiter was very friendly he was very busy and not attentive. we ordered a pizza & meatballs for the appetizer - and our meals - we tried to order another round of drinks but were not able to but once the pizza & meaty arrived we were however we wanted to know what was on tap and we were told the bar was backed up. The food was good not delicious but good, the presentation was lovely, - we ordered appetizers: Margarita Pizza, meatballs, mains: tomato burrata salad, the filet, polenta fries with truffle, the Orecchiette & the veal. dessert: gelato & chocolate tacos Drinks: Italian Margaritas, beer, lemon drop, dirty martini and one other drink. Went for our first visit last night and was about a 40 min drive to get there so we were very hopeful based on reviews, photos and the menu.. but our experience was just "ok" Atmosphere is upscale, lots of glass and open concept. It's loud on a busy night, we were sat next to the kitchen and it was hard to hear our server and even have conversation at the table. Drinks were very good Food was a miss. The pork dish had a lot of fat, and was spicy for my mom. She didn't enjoy hers. My dad and I got the veal, he got a tomato risotto substitute for the mushroom and enjoyed it. I got the mushroom risotto that it comes with and it was undercooked, almost crunchy, and I kept getting overwhelming bites of peppercorn. I like pepper but not an entire mouthful. My wife had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. Our server never came back after we got the food to check in, or I would have asked to swap the risotto for polenta or something else, but by the time she came I had eaten about half the veal(the risotto was the problem not the veal). She asked if I liked the meal and I gave honest feedback but felt like telling if she came back earlier I would have gotten something else. Not after everyone was done their meal. If we lived closer we might give it another chance, but with so many restaurants out there we probably won't be back. I wish I tried the pasta instead read more
