This coffee shop has great amenities (fireplace, giant windows, modern finishes) and is cared for. It is clean and inviting. The burrito on my burrito scale probably was a 3.5/5. Scale includes heft, taste, price and more. Green tea came out fast and was on point. However, that is only one aspect of the food they serve. The restaurant has great potential with breakfast, sandwiches, salads, booze, and more. In fact, you could eat and drink for days and not have the same thing. Despite the three star rating, I do like this place! It's spacious, they have a large menu, and it's a chill cafe with good vibes. My weekly coffee shop tour brings me to shops all over. I wanted to get out of my bubble and remembered Launch. Hadn't been there in a year and it was a nice homecoming. Plenty of outlets, cranking A/C, and a surprisingly great patio with protective umbrellas on those hot summer days. I asked the baristas if they'd make me a cold brew lemonade and though confused by my request at first, they obliged! Later in the day I ordered an Americano and it was hot and soul soothing. Unfortunately, I do have to give some criticisms on the food I had. Shantytown ($15.50) // Chicken breast, bacon, baby greens, tomatoes, ranch, brioche bun. This simply was not good. The chicken was dry, the greens were dry, hell the bun was dry. For $15 (and no side!) this was a slap in the face to all the great chicken sandwiches out there. There's a chance they forgot the ranch dressing. If they didn't they were just very stingy with it. The bun kept tearing apart as I ate. It was just a really disappointing eating experience. Next time I'll walk over next door instead to grab a bite. I say all the above in hopes of them reflecting on the current menu and hopefully making improvements. I understand pricing is insane right now, but you still have to execute and deliver. And for a coffee shop that I highly doubt is making everything fresh to order (even the bacon was precooked and reheated) there has to be a better way. Food aside, come here for the vibes. Crowded in the morning, emptier in the afternoons. A solid place to work remotely or bring the family. Love how they serve cocktails, beer, and wine too! read more

This was an excellent spot for my friend and I to go to with her dogs on the patio. They even had bowls of water out for them. We got the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Mine with turkey and the bread was so soft and delicious and there was apple pieces in mine with a perfect crunch. I also had a latte that was the best little treat and pick me up before a hike in the mountains. My friend Sam got a sandwich too and says it was one of the best sandwiches she's had in an along time.She also got an iced tea. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful view on top of that I also was using a 2 for 1 book here and I had no issues with using my deal here. They were helpful and kind. Stopped here on our way out of town- the place has a nice atmosphere but it seemed like the staff was annoyed by having customers. Although it was busy, it didn't seem busy enough to require being so short with people. Our food was pretty good though I felt the price was a bit high for what we received and they forgot a part of our order. Overall just an ok experience- don't think this is a spot I'd go out of my way to get, but I'd go there if needed. Just UGH! We came in on a Sunday mid-morning, the place was not busy, a few patrons strung about. We stayed at the hotel right there and wanted something other than Hotel brekky. We saw a sign that read mimosa's, so we decided to give it a try. While looking at the menu, we noticed they do not list ANYWHERE that they have any sort of adult bevvy. So we decided to go somewhere else, and told the person working "we just need alcohol this morning after a long night" and the person let us walk out. We then read some reviews and noticed they DO have alcohol so we walked back in. Listen, I realize we were a bit derpy this morning, but we were all happy and smiling our way through this. The person working said "oh, you're back" and I said "yeah, do you actually have alcohol!?" And they said "yeah, right in front of you" and pointed to the counter. Our mistake. We ordered for four people and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. This place had 5 people working. The food was ok. Not great. Y'all need to work on your service here. It was very stand offish and not kind at all. We also spent some coin on some drinks and food. Disappointed. read more

I searched for a coffee shop near Red Rocks and this place popped up in an ideal location with great reviews and it did not disappoint! The place is very clean with friendly staff and offers a wide selection of coffee drinks and food items. I came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but the line moved along quickly. I would've stayed in the shop but I was too excited to head to Red Rocks especially after buying a Red Rocks hat at this shop that has become my favorite hat! I actually ended up losing the hat, and I reached out to the email address listed on the website and the Owner Todd was absolutely incredible to send me one only charging me his in-store pricing + shipping as I would prepared to pay a premium to get this hat back again! In summary, the place is beautiful with a wide range of a typical good good shop place, the staff was friendly, the drinks/food were delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. Some diners were doing work on their laptops and some Enjoying conversation with friends. It was definitely giving sheiks small town coffee vibes! They had a lot of different varieties of sandwiches that I've never heard of so I decided to play it a little bit safe so I went for the turkey sandwich which was good to my surprise. It came with sliced Granny Smith Apples on the sandwich. It was called born in the USA. It tasted very fresh, and I liked the flavors. Big Fan. Came here twice in one weekend! Both the daytime and morning employee were friendly however the morning crew were on top of it. One women and a young guy working. They were great and seem like morning people! Thank you for the good service. Came here before a concert as I was staying in the hotel across the way. It was quite and the vibe is very homey. Started with chips and guac which came out quick and did the trick. They also have coffee, tea, soda pop, beer and other alcoholic beverages. We also shared the charcuterie board and sandwich. The sandwich was the winner! it was delicious and had thin slices of green apples. The next morning, we were planning on heading out rather early and thankfully this location was open at 6am! Started our day off with coffee and come pumpkin bread. They have some souvenirs you can buy, interactive chalk boards, informational flyers. So many different seating options as well. I ate the first half looked at the second half and found a black hair sticking out of the end of the breakfast burrito. The wait staff said they would comp my burrito, but apparently forgot to or didn't after all. oddly enough, the circumstance was brought back to my mind this evening when I found a hair in my wife's meal at cheesecake factory in Denver West they didn't comp the meal either. Launch is one of Golden's newest and best restaurants, in my opinion. Though the entire subdivision is fairly new, Launch has become a staple with its consistently delicious food and drink. I had the lavender matcha latte which was foamy and sweet, a good treat for someone looking to avoid a "grassier" matcha. The food selection is fairly diverse considering the size of the place, with salads, sandwiches, breakfast, and evening snacks. They serve alcohol as well, though I have seen people denied to be served if they have a vertical ID (even if over 21). The Born in the USA is my favorite sandwich in the area, surpassing even D'Deli and Snarfs. The fresh bread and apples are so crunchy and delicious, I really could have it every day. I spent my work day here on a Friday, and was able to do meetings without feeling like I was making too much noise or that it was too loud in the cafe. Good spot to work remotely and take calls. But, my biggest complaint was that the wifi tends to drop every now and then, and takes a while to reboot... which seems like a frequent problem. Unreliable wifi alone would prevent me from spending work days here, so I recommend really looking into that wifi situation if they want to keep the remote working clientele. Otherwise, a great working spot (in the hopes they fix the wifi!). read more

I've never had such terrible food until now. The sauces taste straight out of a sauce can or bottle on a grocery store shelf that's been brewing from the devil's ass. The red almost made me throw up. This cafe was the perfect start to my roadtrip. It was conveniently across from my hotel and I decided to stop here for coffee and breakfast before getting on the road. It's a very cozy cafe with friendly baristas who were patient while my boyfriend, his dad and I narrowed down our decisions. We decided to get the First Life burrito and a Beautiful Day breakfast sandwich. I also got an iced latte with honey and vanilla and my boyfriend got one of the seasonal drinks (I cannot remember the name). The staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered in all my times visiting Colorado, the food tasted pretty alright, and the ambiance was perfect! Unfortunately, later in the day my son and I got food poisoning and this was the only thing we had eaten and only he and I ate the same thing. Thankfully we didn't all get ill, but I had to change our flights from the next day and extend our hotel one night because it took us out.
