An absolute gem of a cafe in Kittredge! Who woulda thunk? From the outside looking in, you would think you're in Denver. When you step inside, you really feel like you're in Denver. And those are good things. Coffee shops in the mountains, just like restaurants, are a gamble. Usually you're lucky enough a place exists/is open. Well, the fine folks at Amano have truly outdone themselves. The best part? If you're lucky enough to snag an outdoor spot overlooking the creek you'll be in absolute heaven. We didn't get to while we were here...but talk about prime real estate! Inside is a stunning cafe, hardwood floors, plants galore, and mixed seating. It's not huge, but they make up for that with outdoor chairs and picnic tables. They use high quality coffee, Queen City from Denver. The menu is simple, a coffee shop's coffee shop. I ordered a cortado and it was excellent. Each passing sip I scratched my head trying to wrap my mind around the fact I was in having such quality coffee in the mountains! If you find yourself near Morrison or Evergreen, I highly suggest taking the road less travelled (74) and visit this impeccable cafe immediately!

this was my first time at this adorable mountain town coffee shop shop! I attended an event for embroidery basics taught by Natalie. it was a fun two hour event that was reasonably priced for learning a new craft and receiving the entire kit to complete my project. I really enjoyed chatting with other women in the area and meeting the owner. I'll definitely come back for a plant and hopefully another event!

Nestled on the side of the road, this coffee shop is a must try! From various plants around the shop (that's for sale), to the pastries and drinks to choose from, to the very relaxing seating outside by the water, you'll love this place! The space has so much character and is a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is genuinely friendly as well. Will make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area.

First time at this coffee shop. I got a black drip coffee and found the coffee to be a bit too acidic for my liking. Also got a cinnamon roll in a plastic container from the counter. It was stale. Totally bummed because it looked so good. Great interior vibe with lots of plants and comfy places to sit.

A delightful coffee and plant shop in Kittredge! They had a special offer for labor day for a coffee included in all plants purchases. Plant prices were certainly on the high end, but all seemed to be well maintained and cared for and growing prolifically. Coffee + other options were plentiful and the outdoor space backing up to the river was gorgeous!

Gorgeous and sweet little spot selling plants along the river. Everything here is so cozy. Stop in for a cup of something warm on your way to evergreen lake!

What an amazing experience! Small parking lot but thankfully we got a spot. The town is cute so if you have to park far don't worry it's a beautiful walk. The decor is so cute and the creek right outside is like a perfect paradise. The service was great, the owner was there and was so sweet. She had forgotten our scone and uniquely made the moment right by giving my friend a free sticker and we all laughed about it. It was wonderful. The scone was freaking delicious and the coffee. Omg don't even get me started, it was excellent. You absolutely need to try this place!

Located 30 miles out from Denver, this coffee shop is a vibe if you want to get out of the city and embrace some scenery while enjoying your morning coffee. It's in Kittredge between Morrison and Evergreen and the road it's on is such a nice drive as well. The coffee was great and the owner was super nice (can't remember her name) when we talked to her. The back patio overlooks the small river flowing by and it's very awesome sitting out there enjoying the day and hearing the water as well. Will definitely go back! Oh also like the name of the coffee shop, there's many plants there and they got some for sale too :)

Adorable cosy coffee shop by the edge of a stream. Cappuccino with almond milk was delicious! Inside is adorned with a large variety of plants that just happen to be for sale and cosy seating. Outside is so very relaxing from the fire of the sunshine to the babbling brook to the fireplaces. A great place to stop and rejuvenate plus there's plenty of parking. Service was very professional.

I've never had a blueberry latte in my life but wow it was incredible and so refreshing. The spot is nestled right along the river with elite vibes. They have bagels with cream cheese as a tasty treat. While we were in we even got to meet the owner when we were in and she was incredibly sweet! Can't wait to come here again and check out some of the community based classes they hold!!

Are you kidding me? This café is perfect!! Gosh--the ambiance is chefs kiss. You walk in and there are so many cute and intimate places to sit down and catch up with a loved one. The plants all over the place makes the place look so lively and green. My matcha was delicious. The workers are sooo sweet, friendly, and nice! Gosh--one of the staff actually went out of their way to help us find a shaded place in their back patio area. Which by the way--the back patio is even the best part! It's right next to a creek and there's seating close by to enjoy the outdoor weather. I'll definitely be coming back here again and again and again! Love it!

Amazing ambiance and delicious drinks. Busy even on a Monday morning but service was fast and staff were very welcoming! The spicy chai was very spicy and delicious. The seasonal blueberry matcha was sweet and delightful. They have almond or oat milk for non-dairy friends. And many beautiful plants!

A blueberry matcha and blueberry latte!

What a lovely place! The interior is cozy and gorgeous but sitting alongside the creek to enjoy their delicious drinks is the way to go. Their blueberry matcha and latte were perfect for a warm, sunny day. If we were locals we'd definitely join the book club!

Very torn on the Muddy Buck - it didn't live up to my expectations…read more The good: 1) The ambiance! They have the mountain town atmosphere and decor down. The seating is a fun mix of tables and comfy couches, plus outside patio seating. There is a selection of board and card games available, and a slightly tucked away book for those who want some privacy (as I did on my morning visit, to take a work call). 2) The chocolate chip walnut cookies are SO good! Definitely get it warmed up. 3) Free wifi. The less good: 1) Given they roast their own coffee I had high expectations on the taste of my latte but it was just okay, nothing standout. 2) The cinnamon rolls are another thing the Muddy Buck is known for and maybe I just got one from a day-old / less fresh batch but it wasn't that great. The edges were crispy - not sure if that's intentional - I prefer my cinnamon rolls soft & pillowy. 3) The service is hit-or-miss and their overall workflow needs some adjusting. After most orders the cashier would walk away and tell the next person in line they'll be with them in just a few minutes, even if it wasn't that busy. When I got my Italian soda, I didn't get my cookie - I was told they were still working on it (it was in the display case) - yet my friend who ordered after me got her soda and cookie at the same time. I had to go up again to ask for it. 4) They're inconsistent with their use of disposable vs reusable packaging. My latte was in a to-go cup despite dining in and plenty of reusable mugs hanging there. Cinnamon roll came on a plate. Italian soda was a to-go cup. Cookie was in a to-go bag. They have both reusable and disposable silverware. Some adjustments are needed IMO.

I was craving a homey coffee shop moment, something cabin-esque where you can relax without feeling rushed. Muddy Buck delivered. Comfy couches, warm wood vibes, and the kind of atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. I did forget the book I meant to read, but that worked out because I ended up having a really lovely morning playing games with a friend instead. The coffee was solid, and the pastries were warm, soft, and pillowy. But the sleeper hit here is the Muddy Buck chocolate chip walnut cookie. Gooey, perfectly baked, and genuinely memorable. One of those cookies you keep thinking about later. If you're in Evergreen and want a cozy, relaxed coffee shop where you can actually sit and enjoy your time, this is the spot.

I ordered my usual, cortado. It was decent. Not the best Ive ever had, but decent. They were running out of things like sugar, pastries, and cream and forks by the time I got there, so i suggest trying to get their earlier. I did not taste any of their food items and can't comment on that. Inside you can see the roasting space, which for the coffee enthusiast might be enjoyable to explore. The service was ok. I did have to wait, but they were busy so I could understand. I think it's a great place to meet up for a date or catch up with a friend. I truly enjoyed my visit here.

Parking on Kenton Street where Jubilee tough to find. The entire block was full o' cars. I block over or a street down you'll find plenty of parking but the neibhborhood is a little sketchy so be mindful of where you park. Colfax might be a better choice. I parked on Colfax but nobody else did, so I hope it was OK. I didn't get a ticket and I didn't see any parking restrictions. I't s busy street though. OK. Sorry about the parking thing. I live in LA so parking is always something I keep in mind because parking is such a hassle there. Anyway, Jubilee is awesome! There's tons of seating, so you can likely easily meet someone there without having to worry if you'll find seating. The place has a great vibe and the staff adds a lot to the super cool vibe. The prices are reasonable and it's a great place to hang out. My friend had a vanilla latte' Great presentation. She loved it. I had the house herbal iced tea. We were meeting before taking a scenic drive up Upper Bear Creek to catch the fall colors. I've stopped by here in the summer to grab ice cream or coffee through their adorable walk-up window off the patio, but this time we had the chance to sit and savor the experience. We were greeted warmly the moment we walked in, and after eyeing the tempting pastry case, we decided on our drinks -- a classic coffee for my mom and a latte for me -- along with a savory hand pie.
