I've been to sogo many times. Great atmosphere and fun for a date or they can accommodate a group. My favorite is the monkey roll. Service is ok-it is more fun to sit at the sushi bar. They have a full bar with Saki, beer, and cocktails. read more

Hm...Sogo is soso to me. When I need a sushi fix and don't want to drive out to A-town then it sort of does it for me...Service isn't always great, but I was pleasantly surprised by one woman who was helpful (I ordered a soup I ended up not liking and she brought me a salad instead). Loved the appetizers, the outdoor seating (where we could listen to the band playing in the center square), and the drinks. I feel like the sushi could have been a bit higher quality, but it was still tasty and I'd definitely come back. I just think there is a little room for improvement with respect to the sushi, but overall this place is solid. I had high expectations given the reviews were pretty good for this place. I placed an order for pick up and was told it would be 35 minutes. The order wild up taking over an hour. When I arrive for pick up there was only one table in the restaurant with two people at it. Not one other pick up order arrived while I was there. Not only did they not have the order ready anywhere close to the promised time but the guy at the register didn't even acknowledge us or the fact that it was so late.He was rude and didn't really apologize or do anything else. As for the sushi it was OK but main stream. There are so many restaurants that do the exact same sushi with nothing really to set them apart. This is one of those. Although sign says best in the valley, the food is just average. Miso soup was lukewarm and bland. Sweet potato roll good but roll sizes in general were small. Service just average. Summer salad special was really not good at all. Have had much better elsewhere. read more

Best sushi place in the easton area. I always get one of the special rolls thats offered that day. The noodle bowls are big but good. If you get dishes you do get a good amount of food to share. I dine here often, especially for lunch. Food is very good as is the value for what you get. Sometimes the language barrier can be tricky especially when the house is filled and the noise level is high. They do need to invest money into replacing the foam into chair bottoms and seat cushions as they become uncomfortable very quickly. read more

This place was very good. We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. We ordered 3 different rolls. The money roll, the Batman roll, and the Hawaiian roll. They were all very good. We're not big on raw fish so all 3 are from the list of cooked rolls. I'm also from LA area and I didn't find this place to be far off from what I've had out there, however they probably had less to choose from for sure. Have been to Sogo many times. I've tried sushi as well as their other entries, and I have never been disappointed in the food. The service was not great one time, but I've had more than enough good servers to not hold that against them. The bar service is the only item holding them back. I visited Sogo Fusion on a Saturday, for me and my boyfriends "date night". It was just awesome. We ordered the avocado bowl for an appetizer which was awesome, definitely recommended, it is very refreshing. For dinner we ordered a couple sushi rolls which included the Volcano Roll, which was very tasty, one of the best I've had. Only minus was that even though we were placed in the back room where the air conditioning was supposed to be, it was a little warm. But other then that A+ experience. read more

I dined at Sogo for the second time with a friend about three weeks ago. It was a beautiful night so we decided to sit out sit outside. Nothing really special to look at but it was too nice to sit inside. I don't eat sushi but they have some great rolls that are shrimp and/or chicken and I have enjoyed my meal both times I went. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet. It's cute inside and they have a nice little bar too if you just want to sit and have a drink! The menu is very big and you get a lot for your money. Awesome crab rangoon! The shrimp tempura roll was also a good choice. Pretty nice atmosphere. Weird green light at the entrance left me confused and slightly disoriented. However, after I overcame this I had a pretty damn good meal. Service was excellent. I will definitely be back! read more

You are all out of your minds! I would never go back to Sogo. We had a reservation for 6 people. When we showed up and they saw that 4 of them were kids, they tried to squeeze us into a table for 4. Don't think so! It was the waiter's first night and he knew literally nothing about the menu. Didn't know what kinds of hot or cold sake were offered, didn't know if a roll could be made with a special request, took a very long time to return with simple requests like silverware and water, and rarely checked back to see if we neeeded anything. The food took extremely long to arrive, which doesn't work well with kids. My son's cucumber roll took 45 minutes to arrive and my daughter's noodles never even made it before we told them we were leaving. I was served a flat beer and the bartender even acknowledged that he knew he needed to replace it. The sushi was good, not incredible, most disappointing was the tamago. I am not a fan of sushi with sauces on top and one of our rolls was doused in some sauce. I would probably not return here but we did give it a try because of all the positive reviews I read here. read more

We went there for sushi. There were maybe 5 other tables. We were greeted with waters promptly and our server took our drink order. We received our drinks in a timely manner and our server said he would be right back to take our order. He lied. He never came back. Neither did the other two servers who were standing around. After about 20 mins of looking around, we left a $20 on the table and left. It's really a shame. I've had their sushi many times and it's really good. I just had my first post quarantine dining experience and actually have to say that one star is way too generous, I wish there was an option for 0 or perhaps even negative stars. This was probably the worst dining experience I have had in my entire life. I will say, I understand that these COVID-19 times are not easy, but this was past the point of using this an excuse. First of all, we get placed at our table, which was not wiped down. The hostess comes over to wipe the table and wipes the trash off the table and onto my boyfriends pants. After that, we realize she has only given us specials sheets.. not the actual menu. So, we get up and ask for menus after no one comes to check on us after multiple minutes. After that, they came to ask for our order maybe 3 times after 3 seconds of us actually receiving menus. We finally place our order .. two salads, edamame, and a plethora of sushi. Our reservation was at 7pm and we did not receive our food until after 8pm, and they brought out our salads at the same time as our sushi, and they did not bring our edamame after I had asked about it twice??? To which they said, we will bring it out when it's ready? Don't you just pop that shit in a microwave for 3 minutes? Like dear GOD. To finish it off, my sushi was absolutely TERRIBLE, and the table next to us had complained that they left dirty silverware on their table... disgusting, especially in COVID times.. if you can't handle being open (the restaurant was maybe at 30% capacity? Not even?) then you shouldn't be open on a Saturday night. I absolutely will never return and will be sure to tell everyone I know this place is a NO GO read more

The decor is nice and that's the nest thing I can say about this place. The food sucked & service was incredibly bad. We ordered drinks for 4, they arrived one at a time 15 minutes later and ten minutes apart. The "volcano beef" appetizer was ice cold and looked like it was leftover from last week. My friends fillet minion was the same but drowned in some canned gravy and the pineapple fried rice was covered in curry powder for some reason. When my dinner arrived 30 minutes after the rest of our table I didn't even bother saying anything as it was clear by then this place is just a mess. Went out with a friend this past Monday night for my birthday. We loved our sushi order! (we ordered the spicy yellow dragon roll, spicy girl roll and we recevived a california roll for only $1 - special). We ordered a bottle of wine and it was not that expensive. Affordable delicious sushi! The waitress was great - not to mention, Adorable! and she even brought me out a free little ice cream for my birthday! This is first time I'm saying "Why is it rated so low?" This place had really good sushi and not just because it's the only sushi place in downtown Easton. The seafood is really fresh. They also offer a vegetarian plate and meat options. The saki martini is excellent. If the weather is nice, Sogo has the nicest outdoor seating in Easton. Or it looks really fancy inside and the service is very attentive. It is possibly the most pleasant place to eat in Easton. Very unique place. I've been there a few times and have tried their sushi and also main dishes. The sushi was excellent, the sweet potato rolls were also great. The Thai curry chicken was honestly one of the best I've had, everything tasted super fresh. As far as their drink menu, I was surprised to see they had such a bar.
