This place is top notch! Came with family and my friend was jealous because it's her favorite place. She isn't wrong. The prices here are great for the sushi rolls and that is super difficult to find anywhere. We had sake and of course Sapporo beer because you have to! Could not tell you all the rolls we had ordered because it was a lot. I will say the cucumber crab salad is probably the best thing I've ever tasted. The jalapeño popper things we got were one of my favorites for sure. You need to order those and the rainbow roll. I will say it's weird their rice paper and ginger is pink. Not used to that at other places. Service fantastic and it was a super clean restaurant

A pretty great place for hibachi with GREAT service! We came here as a group on a busy Friday night, we only had a 5 minute wait for a table and our server was fantastic. We all ordered hibachi and it was a great meal. If I had a comment about it I might say that the vegetables are a little under seasoned compared to some others I've tried. But the meat was cooked really well, and the rice mixed with some of their yum yum sauce was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you like hibachi or sushi as they also had a huge sushi menu with a lot of options.

These receipts will show the amount of money that we had no problem spending and the side receipt with the Sexy Lady amount.

Today we decided to try SOGO JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE. We were a party of 3 adults and 1 child. This restaurant was pretty empty. I ordered the Lobster Dragon roll and the Sexy Lady roll. The description to both appeared good. Our waiter was amazing he answered all our questions regarding the menu prior to ordering food and drinks. He also made sure to come by our table often to see if we were set (more than your usual waiter does). When our food finally arrived which was fairly quick(not complaining) the sushi was appealing to the eye was well presented. Their Lobster Dragon Roll was EVERYTHING. That's why they get the 1 Star. Unfortunately the Sexy Lady roll had a sour taste to it and I only ate 1 piece of the roll and move it to the side. Now we get to the juice stuff! When we are ready to check out somebody within my party suggested I ask to get the Sexy Lady roll removed because I did not eat it. We kindly asked the waiter to take it off due to that fact. The waiter told us he would ask his manager. Seconds later the manager ALLEN walked over to our table very aggressively. Allen told me that he could not take off the 14.90 off my bill of 82.62 because that's what I ordered and that it was basically my fault. During this whole ordeal he was screaming at us telling me that the description was on the menu and that it was my fault. He would not let me get not even one word in. At this point as a small business owner myself I was taken back by the rude and unprofessional attitude I was receiving from this man. I had to literally tell him to stop talking and with my finger in the air ( symboling STOP/wait) to be able to at least explain myself. As I was explaining to him that circumstances as such tend to happen to everyone and it is out of his control, at times we order food we think we might like and when we try it we don't. You can tell that he did not care and was not trying to compromise. I totally gave up for the sake of my sanity and the embarrassment I just went through. I kindly asked to charge the Sexy Lady separately so that the person paying for my bill did not have to and kept it moving. I tend to not write a whole essay on these experiences but I am still taken back by this and how unprofessional this was, and how he tried to push on me the fact that I ordered it, read the description so I had to pay for it because I did steps 1,2.... If anyone has experience this at any of their locations because submit a review no one should ever have to go through this experience.

This is my experience take it or leave it…read more We have been wanting to try Sendu for a while now so I decided to get some takeout as I was passing through Webster. I ordered online from the parking lot and went in pretty soon after ordering so I wasnt expecting the food to be ready. I waited in line behind another couple who were waiting to be seated. The place was very busy and it seemed to be a bit understaffed. It took a good 2-3 minutes for the couple to be greeted and eventually seated. I waited another 2+ minutes until the bartender finally greeted me from across the bar. I told them I had a pickup and that I would wait at the bar. I sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before I interrupted the bartender to ask if I could get a drink while I waited. $36 for a double whistlepig on the rocks. Wasn't expecting that. The decor was nice. It really seemed like a nice place and it was packed. The staff was doing g then best they could, but overwhelmed and understaffed. Another 10 mintues went by while I watched TV and waited for my food. As I was finishing my drink about 35 minutes after ordering, the food was ready. We got the egg rolls, which were really deep fried spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce but one of the better things we ordered. Seared Pepper tuna was the best thing we tried. Spice with the citrus flavor of the panzu. Seattle, Osaka, and Manhattan sushi tacos. Innovative yes, flavorful not so much. The white sauce (not sure what dish it was for) saved the tacos for me. Manhattan was the best out of the three, but still nothing special. The Beef Bulgogi spring rolls were almost vegetarian, minus the one thin strip of unmarinated beef. Peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter, no other spices or flavors like a peanut sauce should. I was not impressed. We also got the "Thai Shrimp and Tropical fruit Ceviche" it was missing the pineapple and there was no where near the citrus needed to make a real Ceviche. Meaning they cut up cooked shrimp and put it in a bland fruit salad. Another one that I was not impressed by. Finally mango sticky rice. This wasn't bad and I don't mind Jassberry rice, but if you are going to call it sticky rice, you should have more than a drizzle of sweetened coconut milk in the rice and it needs more than a 1/4 mango. Total came to just under $75 not including tip or the $36 bourbon. Too many really good Sushi, Thai, and Korean resturants to waste my time trying mediocre "fusion". I wouldn't rule out giving them another try, but it won't be anytime soon :(

First off, this is a clean and beautifully decorated restaurant. There's a sense of coziness and also modern. Upon stepping in, there's a nice variety of different decor which is pleasing to see. We started off with a couple appetizers. The spicy tuna crispy rice, and the fresh wraps (one with bulgogi steak and the other with fried crab). We can't say we were a fan of these, hence 4-stars vs 5-stars. We found the steak to be tough and did not have any flavour including a steak flavor which was odd. The fried crab is imitation crab stick, battered then deep fried. These ran $8 per fresh wrap which I find very steep. We didn't think they were tasty but presented nicely. The spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer was great. We loved the fried rice croquettes topped with spicy tuna and jalapeno. These were a delight. Now for the main reason we arrived, the sushi tacos. We ordered 6 out of a dozen or so choices, and we loved every single one of them. Each had its own unique flavour, and the bottom base of the taco is purple (black) rice which has its own stickiness and flavor which made them even more delicious. There were a couple tacos which included eel, but we weren't expecting them to be battered then fried. We would have preferred the unagi to be left alone. Nevertheless, these tacos are unique and 100% worth us making a visit to this restaurant. We ended with their Mango Sticky Rice, which we found the mango wasn't ripe enough, but passable. Overall, a great experience and 100% would visit to order more of their sushi tacos and would possibly try other dishes.

From the moment we sat down at a high-top along the bar (10/10 decision upon making the reservation), everything just clicked: warm ambiance, buzzing energy, and service that was genuinely friendly without feeling scripted or rushed. The staff made us feel like they were happy we were there--not just doing their jobs. Now let's talk food, because wow. We kicked things off with the Wagyu tartare (luxurious, balanced, melt-in-your-mouth) and duck croquettes (crispy and well balanced). For mains, my son went with the 24 oz prime bone-in ribeye, and I ordered the 14 oz New York strip--both cooked exactly how steak should be cooked. Perfect temperature, beautiful sear, deeply flavorful. Sides were shared and spectacular: roasted thyme mushrooms, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach--which may very well be the best on the planet (I will die on this hill). In the spirit of full honesty, when we come back (and we absolutely will), the two items we'd rotate out just to try something new would be the duck croquettes and the potatoes au gratin. Both were very good, but everything else we ordered--and clearly much of what's still on the menu--has an even higher ceiling of potential, and we're eager to explore it. Dessert sealed the deal. My son demolished a crème brûlée with appropriate birthday enthusiasm, while I tackled the caramel carrot cake, which was decadent in all the right ways and not overly sweet. In short: food, service, and ambiance all exceeded expectations--by a lot. If you've never been here: go. If you go occasionally: go more often. This wasn't just dinner--it was a celebration done right. We'll absolutely be back. Note: while their classic steakhouse menu, with some pizzazz, is perfect... My only want for this place would be for another appetizer selection or two that does not contain any sort of fish/seafood as we have family members with sensitivity - and we were hesitant to order the famous house made chicken nuggets with caviar as we are still finding out the range of foods we need to steer away from.

I ordered the fresh cut for my cocktail and the steak frites for my entree. While I waited for my entree, I was served a complimentary roll. It was soft and pillowy. The fresh cut was refreshing and light, while the steak frites were good. However, my steak was cooked to medium well instead of medium, as I had ordered. I really enjoyed the fries. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Patron Saint and look forward to visiting again to try some other items on the menu. They also offer complimentary valet parking, which was convenient.
