Worst manicure of my life. Rush job. She pulled cuticle cutter and metal tools from a dirty looking plastic container. They put them back in the same container after me. I didn't notice anything heat cleaned or sterilized in barbicide. They weren't individually wrapped in paper or disposable as I'm accustomed to. Beware of the Nail Dryer - there are burning hot light bulbs hidden underneath. I scorched my hand!!! Total Waste - terrible. read more

I had my lashes done twice here. 1st time was great. she did a lovely job. She was gentle and strategic. I booked again to see the same girl a couple weeks later. I went in for my 2nd appointment and had a different girl. My appointment was painful, and scary.. it felt like she was removing some lashes, but it was loud and pulling.. I felt very on edge. After she was done I went into my car to brush them because they felt sore and uncomfortable.. and a large clump came out.. (see picture). I booked with another lash place to have them removed the very next day. The over all business is lovely and clean. My first experience was great, and it pains me to leave a bad review. read more

My pedicures last almost 3 weeks, manicures obviously less but that's to be expected (not gel, just regular polish).

The salon is newly remodeled and beautiful inside. I come here frequently for gel manicures and Lisa is the best!! She is a perfectionist and makes sure every nail looks flawless. She is also very personable and I would come here solely to have her do my nails. I also got my eyebrows waxed here for the first time the other day by Sandra and I will definitely be returning for that as well. My only complaint: My mother and I came in one afternoon and decided to treat ourselves to spa pedicures ($50 each). For that price, we expected a pretty luxurious pedicure but unfortunately it was quite the let down. We were seated next to each other and the two women doing our nails talked and giggled to each other the entire time, and one of them was checking her phone and texting constantly throughout. I understand you may want to chat and I understand that I will not be receiving the royal treatment but for $50 I was expecting a little bit more. read more

I came in here around noon time on a Friday and was immediately greeted, asked to pick a color, and worked on. My mani was quick and came out amazing. I'll come back to get a pedicure done. I will say though, you should make an appointment as they have walk-ins come in at a steady pace. I haven't tried their lash services but I did see the women who got it done walk out and their lashes looked beautiful. My regular mani cost: $12 and I was in/out in around 35 minutes read more

This place is deserving of a positive review. I will first say that yes, they are slightly higher in price. I believe pedicures in this area are about $20 and this place charges $25. They do run mani/pedi specials though. I've paid $15 for a pedi at different salons before, but I still think the prices at this nail salon are about average for this area. Especially when you check the cleanliness of this place. It's super super clean! And I'm a big fan of their massage chairs. Diana did my pedicure and I did not feel rushed at all. In fact, while she was massaging my feet, I closed my eyes and almost fell asleep!! She did a great job! I really also like that they use the foam toe separators and let you keep them. Totally reusable at home if you want to do your own pedi's. I'd probably come back here again out of convenience since they are close to home, but not regularly because of cost. Also they were able to take me right away which is always a plus when other nail salons might have a long wait. They also have tons of colors and do gel pedicures, not just gel mani's. read more

I came here for lash extensions and it was fantastic. I've only had my eyelashes done in my own home. I would prefer coming here, that's how convenient the experience was. The first set of lashes were too long (my fault in asking for too dramatic of a look). I went back for a fill in and they replaced the full set for the same price as a fill in! The customer service is excellent, the space is clean, the staff is professional and appointment availability makes Soho Lash very convenient. I highly recommend. read more

First of all, the staff doesn't speak English which annoys me especially when I have to tell her to clean under my nails which should be a given. I came with a friend who lives in the area. I will not be coming back. Btw they are pricey. There's a nail salon on every block. ..what makes this place so special. Just because its called Soho; you are certainly not in Soho. Truly used to love this place. I spent $60 on a gel manicure and regular pedicure on Friday, not including tip. By Sunday 2 of my nails are completely chipped. I even mentioned to the lady they looked very "lumpy" and she got all annoyed, ignored me and started speaking in another language to the clinician next to her. So unbelievably rude and not customer friendly, at all! I was only going here sporadically to try and give them another chance, but this was it. I will never go back. If I could give this place negative zero stars I definitely would. I work in the area so I stopped by this place is fairly new there were two other customers in there, I was not greeted when I walked in the owner looked up at me and kept working I waited a few minutes and I was seated at the pedicure bowl. The water was cold I requested for it to be warmer and it wasn't, she did a horrible job my feet did not look finished when I was done the polish was sloppy and my feet were extremely dry. I asked for the owner to clean it up and it still looked horrible I just paid and left. Never once did she thank me for coming nothing the attitudes were very abrasive and it being a new establishment you would think they would have been a little more friendly to keep new customers coming back! I tried the lash extension service with Tae and had the best experience! When lashes were in my budget and I was in the area for client visits, I came to see Tae regularly. I was always happy with the results. I was impressed with the cleanliness, her gentle touch, and attention to detail. The process was always very soothing and relaxing. I've been to lash locations closer to my home and they come no where close to my experience with Tae. I'd recommend Soho Nails & Lash for lashes to anyone! read more

Apparently, there is more than one nail salon called "soho" in the area and the pricing is different. Pedicure was a rushed job and not at all thorough. Manicure was okay; they did a very good job shaping the nails evenly and neatly polishing. However, I almost all of my nails chipped within 3 days. Its really sad that this place has gone down hill. The once friendly and efficient staff have turned into some of the most rude service industry professionals I have ever dealt with. It should never be painful when you get your nails done... Ever! Being a licensed professional myself I am very aware of the proper procedure when giving a gel manicure or applying nail enhancements, this place now cuts corners and uses excuses for grinding a file or drill into the cuticle. I have been coming here regularly for the last year or two because I like the fact that the place is new and I can also get my eyebrows waxed at the same time I go for my gel mani and spa pedi. However, I've seen the quality go down over the last year - first of all, I feel like I'm being rushed out of there whenever I go - this is supposed to be a relaxing experience. Secondly, and this is BIG, I've told my girl(s) repeatedly that I want my cuticles REMOVED, not painted over. This is a no brainer, is it not?? However, due to the lack of English skills (or some other reason), my cuticles continue to be pushed back and painted over, rather than being removed. Not what one would expect for a $35 service. Looks crappy. I like the location (convenient to Harmon, Dunkin' Donuts, dry cleaners, etc.) but I'm considering other options. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. I got my eyebrows done here and when the lady showed me what she had done she had made my eyebrows two COMPLETELY different shapes and had not waxed the center of my eyebrows. When I asked her to please wax the center, she did and again made one end a square and one end more of a circle. So, I had two completely different eyebrows (so noticeable that my boyfriend even noticed) and when I asked her to redo them she flat out said no. read more

I love this nail salon. It's super clean. All the ladies do a great job. My pedi's last awhile and they never ever chip. I always get a spa pedi cause they do such a wonderful job and it feels amazing. In April I started get lash extensions and I LOVE THEM!!! Other places charge anywhere from $250 and up but I never paid over $120 for my lashes. They do such an amazing job on the lashes as well. I really love Tae for lashes and pedi. They also got a new women Hannah for lashes and she is amazing as well. I don't go anywhere else for my weekly mani's. read more

When I lived in Verona I would come here all the time. Absolutely loved this place for gel manis and the girls were all very nice. (The 2 Stars) Now I live in summit and come here on occasion when I am in the area and just recently went and unfortunately had a very disappointing gel manicure. Instead of filing off my previous gel manicure with a regular file before wrapping them in the tinfoil, the woman used the drill. It hurt and made my nails super thin. They are not supposed to do this. No cuticle removal. I opted for some new sparkly polish ($10 up charge). Such a horrible job, a day later because of the horrible polish job and my nails she made so thin and weak, it's already chipped on almost every nail. I get a gel mani every week and a half, I know how it should be properly done. What kills me is this place is one of the more pricey places (gel mani is $35) and I paid $45 for the sparkle. This was SO rushed, PAINFUL, ugly and most places who charge above $30 typically give you a hand massage or a little back/neck massage. You GET NOTHING here. Seriously, 2 days later my nails look like crap and I'm $55 in the hole (I work in service industry, I have a hard time not tipping, even for a poor service). Very disappointing. read more

First if you like your lash extensions thick and dramatic this is NOT the place for you. If your not happy with how your lashes look do not speak of it lol. Lindsey one of the techs will start yelling at you and start throwing a tantrum like a 5 year old. Then she will proceed to rant about how she worked for a high end salon in the city. I have been going to Lash House in Livingston for a year, I was finding that my lashes didn't look full and I couldn't justify the price any longer for lashes that weren't lasting. My friend, Lisa, recommended Soho for lashes and I decided to make the switch. The place is clean and calming. I explained what I was looking for and they even had diagrams so I could point out what I wanted. The beds are comfortable and with the blanket I honestly fell asleep for a little bit :) I waited 10 days to write a review as I wanted to make sure that I was happy with the lashes and I can honestly say I am over joyed!!! They look amazing and I have only shed about 2 lashes, the lashes actually feel lighter than what I was used to and I believe it makes a huge difference. As with all extensions you have to take care of them, if you rub your eyes its probably not for you but as someone who has worn lash extensions for the better part of 3 years, I am very happy with how they look, how they lasted and will be going there from now on!!!! read more

Never again! Have been here a couple of times since it is right down the street from my house. The first time was fine. Nothing spectacular. The second time I brought my 12 year old niece with me for pedicures. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Both pedicures were horrible! Looked sloppy and unfinished. For someone who has gone here for YEARS, the service has gone from 5 to 1 star. They have they NEVER told me about the rewards/points card and I have been going here for at least 7 years if not longer which is when they were located in the old TCBY's spot. I just was told about the card the other day, you would think as a loyal customer they would have given me a free $12. manicure or something- NOPE. Also, I stuck with ONLY getting pedicure's because Nancy or Sandra were the best and anything else here was a waste of time. Well, looks like I was right. I tried a gel manicure last Friday, paid $35.00 for it and by Monday it was chipping!!!! I am so disappointed in how this business has gone downhill. Oh and because they we're busy, not only did I get to choose who did my pedicure, I was rushed and so was everyone else. I would no longer recommend this salon. So sad. read more
