If you're looking for one of the most beautiful Thai restaurants in Las Vegas, Weera Thai's SW Rainbow location is hard to beat. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous décor throughout both sides of the dining room. It has a much larger menu than the other Weera Thai locations, which gives you even more options to choose from. The must-order dishes are the catfish salad and the calamari. Both were outstanding and easily the highlights of our meal. The Pad Thai was decent, but it was missing a little of the bold flavor I was expecting. The red curry, on the other hand, was rich, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive, just as I've come to expect from Weera Thai. And don't skip the cocktails--they're creative, well-balanced, and some of the best I've had at a Thai restaurant. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to the Weera Thai family. Decoration is exquisite, every single corner has some sort of Thai touch. Drinks have a delightful presentation. Food is out of this world and the dishes are big, order to share. We had the Crispy Catfish Salad, Tung Tong , The Branzino and Crispy Duck Rice. Each one of them made to perfection, great balance of flavors. For drink I had the cocktail Wangtong with whiskey. I am honestly very disappointed with my experience today. The food gets 100 stars . It was absolutely delicious, and that's what makes this review even more frustrating. I had been bragging about this restaurant to my family for a long time. My family member had just flown in from California, and since I hadn't seen her in years, I chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. Instead of enjoying quality time together, we felt like we were being rushed from the moment we sat down. While we were still actively eating, we were repeatedly asked if we needed boxes. At one point, I actually had to tell our server that we weren't ready and needed a moment. I've never been asked so many times if I wanted a to-go box while I was still eating. I also ordered a Thai tea. Not only was I never offered a refill, but my cup was taken away and never brought back. To make matters worse, one of the staff members was clearing plates while I was still eating, and his arm was literally inches from my face--close enough to brush my lips. It felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary. When we finally finished, I got up to walk to the front to pay my bill. Before I could even get there, my server stopped me and asked me to sit back down as if I were about to leave without paying. That was embarrassing. Ironically, after being rushed our entire meal, the bill wasn't even ready. There were only two occupied tables in the restaurant, so it's hard to understand why we were made to feel like we needed to hurry through a special family celebration. The food is outstanding, but customer service is just as important as the meal. Unfortunately, the rushed service completely took away from what should have been a memorable birthday dinner. Had a good meal at Weera Thai Rainbow with Bonnie as our waitress. Everything was cooked well and as we ordered it. Definitely going back to try more Thai food. The noodles in pad see ewe were cooked perfectly and normally I don't order tofu but it was quite tasty yet not too firm. The crab fried rice was the most expensive item and well worth it with plenty of crab meat. We have tried every Weera Thai and none compared to this one for the crab fried rice, even Weera seafood. Our waitress explained its all the same recipe but each chef cooks with slight variations. Everything else was good and it's a huge place. For those looking for gluten free options, the Crab Meat Fried Rice or any of their fried rice can be made gluten free as long as you're not enjoying a fried protein. It does not contain soy sauce and is seasoned with sugar, salt & butter, so it's safe to enjoy! I ordered this to go for my hubby & he said it was amazing!! I was told to enjoy Khao Soi with a squeeze of lime, raw onions, pickled cabbage and if you'd like to add spice, you can add chili oil. It's to be combined and enjoyed together. Stopped in for a late lunch date today. This is our first time at this location. We've eaten at the one in Town Square multiple times. It's a very pretty location. We ordered our usual favorites: Thai tea and Thai coffee and stuffed chicken wings. We also tried the garlic pork ribs, which were tasty. It was during lunch hours so I tried the lunch special: papaya salad with wings, soup, salad and jasmine rice. The flavors were good. My husband orders his favorite pad see ew and added duck. For dessert we tried the ice cream and crepe, which was a nice ending to our meal. We've been on an 'eat at all the Thai restaurants in Vegas' to find the best one. I'm half Thai so I love Thai food and know authentic, amazing Thai food. I am a fan of Weera. Everything wasn't a 5 out of 5 today. The stuffed wings are a favorite and the dessert was, too. Everything else was solid 4/5. Staff checked in throughout the meal and our food arrived at varying times, with the pad see ew with duck taking the longest, which we know takes a bit to cook, but would have liked our entrees to come out at the same time. After living in Vegas for almost 7 years, we finally tried Weera Thai and wondered why it took us so long! First, this location has such unique decor with two separate dining rooms that each have their own vibe, while still feeling very much the same restaurant (if that makes sense haha) Service is very friendly, prompt and attentive. Maybe a touch too attentive for my liking, but not enough to feel overwhelming. Of course, this brings us to food and drinks. Cocktail menu had a lot of great options, and I enjoyed both the Wantong and Bangkok Gentleman cocktails equally. We started with the chicken satay which was wonderfully cooked and seasoned, while the peanut sauce was amazing. I had the Baa Mee Hang which had tender and flavorful pork with some soft egg noodles and absolutely wonderful wontons. This was a seriously solid dish I would get again. Just enjoyed a remarkable meal at Weera Thai for date night and my husband and I are baffled as to why this was our first time dining here. There are two separate dining areas, each with its own bar and slightly varying décor. We were seated in the back dining area which was my favorite aesthetic of the two. We were sat in a booth which was very comfortable and extremely spacious, which is particularly appreciated since we're a plus sized couple. Our waitress, Bonnie, was very polite and had a warm smile. We appreciated her hospitality, although we did notice that all wait staff seemed to sort of hover over their dining guests. I appreciate attentiveness, but a little more space and privacy would help this be a more relaxing experience for everyone. We enjoyed a few delightful dishes as well as some pleasant cocktails. We each started with a cocktail; I had the Weera Thai speciality cocktail which not only had a gorgeous presentation, but was full of playful flavors. My husband had the Wantong which was a fun Thai twist to the classic Old Fashion. We then shared the Chicken Satay appetizer with a peanut sauce that was out of this world delicious! For dinner, I went with the ever classic Pad See Ewe with chicken. The flavor was light and quite good with a generous amount of chicken mixed into the dish. My husband had the Baa Mee Hang which he greatly enjoyed, especially the dumplings that were part of the dish. With our meals, we each ordered one more cocktail. This time I opted for the Arun which was refreshing with a little kick of heat; it paired nicely with my Pad See Ewe. My husband had the Bangkok Gentleman which he enjoyed almost as much as his first cocktail. We were unfortunately too full for dessert afterwards. My Girlfriend and I had a taste for Thai food yesterday and she suggested we go to Weera Thai on Rainbow Blvd. We started with the Weera Sampler Appetizer Plate which had a selection of delicious Thai appetizers with dipping sauces. It was delicious and the selection was great. We then had the roast duck Pad Thai that was fantastic. The slices of roast duck were delicious with the crispy skin just right. The rice noodles green onions and bean sprouts were prepared perfectly upon which the slices of roast duck were served. The Thai Ice Tea was excellent and I needed a refill because it was so delicious. We shared a Coconut Ice Cream that topped off the dinner with a perfect dessert! Upon walking in, I was stunned by the decor - it is absolutely beautiful. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the fixtures and it was unlike any other Thai restaurant I've ever seen. That was already a great first impression. We made it just in time for happy hour which happens Monday thru Friday from 3:30-6:30 pm - most appetizers were $7-9 and the portion size was pretty decent. For HH, we got the tom yum clams, fried calamari, and dynamite wings. After a long day of hiking at Red Rock, the warmth and flavor of the tom yum was like a hug to the soul. The calamari was extra flaky and crispy and came with this delicious green sauce as well as a sweet Thai sauce. Wings were crispy and flavorful. I don't usually drink but they had a special menu for their 15th year anniversary so I just had to try something. I was torn between two options so I asked our waitress what she recommended of the two and she told me to try the cocktail with butterfly pea tea and pandan if I like a sweeter drink. I wish the pandan was more prominent as it was very light and more of an afterthought. For the entree, we shared the nam khao tod which my boyfriend recommended as he has had it before and it was stellar. As always pad Thai is very delicious they cook it perfectly that nobody can imitate how they make their pad thai, with good balance of flavors, and the noodles are cooked perfectly, not too soggy not to dry. It costs almost about the same as a regular entree just a smaller portion with a side of salad and a piece of gyoza. I got the Panang curry and it was way too peanuttty for my taste. We had such a wonderful experience at Weera Thai! From the moment we walked in, everything felt inviting. The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Food is great like always i regularly buy gift cards from here because i know I'll dine in again. I ordered the red curry and tofu spring rolls both were yum. I removed a star due to some weird service from front host/mgmt not the server herself. I walked in at 3:28 to an empty restaurant and was told to wait a couple minutes I realize I wouldn't make the lunch special so I just asked if they still have it and then she said no it's ending and then sat me down right away. I would've appreciated with her just telling me there's no more special and then sent me down instead of saying I have to wait two minutes so that way she can theoretically not offer me lunch special. And then when it came to the check, I requested military discount from my server and she said ok and I guess this is new because this has never happened in my visits prior to this, but then she comes back and said I need to spend $30 in order to receive the discount. I ask her since one is that she said not sure and then I asked her what's the total and it was 29.95 so I asked her can't you guys just make the exception it's literally five cents lol and she said no... anyways food is good. Nothing against that and my server was really nice and constantly checked up on me too. I travel to Vegas frequently to see family and I've been coming to Weera Thai for a couple years. I almost always make it a point to go when I visit. I'm currently in town and stopped in last night for some shrimp spring rolls to go. My issue with them was pricing. On my app they are listed under specials for 14.95 for shrimp (12.95 for tofu). Also in the app if I select the Rainbow location and then menu they are also listed for 14.95 for shrimp. If I place an on line order for pick up the pricing shows 14.95 and then a 2.00 up charge for shrimp making them 16.95. And when I ordered them in person last night I was charged 14.95 and then a 3.00 up charge for the shrimp! So 17.95. I just don't get why there was such a discrepancy on price all from the restaurants own app and menu. I still love this place and I'll be back. Maybe not for the spring rolls and hopefully they can fix their pricing so there's no confusion. read more

Basically, this is my go-to restaurant not only for my husband and I when we are in the mood to go out, but for anytime someone comes to town. Since discovering one of the other locations, I found the Rainbow location which is much more spacious and there is plenty of parking (always a plus!) The two dining rooms are decorated with flowers and lanterns and really add to the experience. The food never disappoints, and they have a large selection of dishes. It's hard to find authentic Thai food, and Weera absolutely delivers. I am very stuck on the Khao Soi because it's one of my favorite dishes- I've tried the chicken, beef, crispy duck and ribeye. The ribeye and beef so far have been my favorites. Great portions, taste, and execution on spice level 3. However, last time I visited I was able to pry myself away from the Khao Soi to try the crispy duck fried rice and it was pretty incredible.
