We have dined here multiple times and it's always on a Sunday at around 6pm. The interior appears elegant and spacious. Garlic Edamame | This is our go-to appetizer while waiting on our entrees. It's garlicky and nutty. Cucumber Salad | Our auntie's favorite! She doesn't care much of the other dishes as long as she gets her cucumber salad. The cucumbers are crispy and succulent. We try not to eat too much of it to make room for the main entrees. Sashimi Special | My dad and uncle love the sashimi at this restaurant. We always place 2 orders of this! Every fish cut tastes fresh and clean. The portions are bigger than expected, they almost look like tiny steaks lol. The favorite is the buttery and savory salmon sashimi! Chicken Fried Rice | Moderately oily with a decent amount of chicken pieces. It tastes the same as other Asian restaurants. Sweet and Sour Chicken | The breading is a bit too much. Would prefer less breading and more chicken. The sauce was acceptable. Cashew Chicken | The chicken chunks were juicy with generous amount of cashews. Roasted Duck | This was not enjoyable. Could not get past the poultry taste. It's just a little too fatty. Fried Flounder | My mom would never not order this every time we're here. This is her favorite dish at this restaurant! The fish is crunchy and the flesh is tender. Honey Walnut Shrimp | This dish is slightly better compared to other Asian restaurants. The shrimp is larger, with batter and sauce meeting expectations. Fried Prawns with Salt and Pepper | We order this with shell and head on for more shrimp flavor. It's well-seasoned and not overly salty. Miso Soup | We order this last. After eating everything on the table, we always finish it with a nice warm miso soup. Menu: The usual Chinese and Japanese dishes are on the menu, such as chow fun, lo mein, vegetables, sushi/sashimi, soups and various proteins, including duck. Service: Making reservations is always easy. The servers are friendly. We dine in here so much that the servers are now our acquaintances lol. They are courteous and flexible even during rush hours. I've been here a few times with my mom and her friend (who uses her comps) for lunch. We usually order quite a bit since we use up $200 in comps on most lunches. Their menu is a variety of Chinese and Japanese cuisine so it's a nice array of food to select from. Elise has taken care of us on most of our lunches and she's super adorable. She is patient (my mom's friend's order can get complicated), she's efficient and makes sure we are taken care of. As for the food, it's good. It's on the higher end of casual dining - it's casino pricing so if it wasn't for the comps I probably wouldn't be spending my money there since I can just go to Chinatown. One of the dishes I do enjoy that not many places have is their monkfish liver. My mom loves their brown rice bcs she says they cook their rice just right so she always takes some home to have for later. Diane and I came here for a late-night dinner, and enjoyed everything except the Wor Wonton Noodle Soup. Even though the soup was stocked with lean white meat chicken and pork, plump shrimps, and delectable scallops, we both found the broth to be weak. Delicate Shrimp Tempura was hot, bronzed, and tasty. And a Sex on a Roll sushi roll that I selected because of its listed ingredients rather than its name was suitably spicy and silky. It was composed of Spicy Tuna, eel, Eel Sauce, avocado, Green Onion, and Spicy Mayonnaise. The fire within seemed to increase exponentially piece by piece until my mouth seemed like it was on fire. Hong Kong Chow Mein surprised me with the thinness of its crispy noodles until they expanded upon contact. Mostly fresh seafood and vegetables rounded out this pleasant dish. Ondori was open late night and I was able to get shrimp dumplings (4/5), miso soup (5/5), tuna tataki (4/5) and salmon sushi (5/5). The fish was very fresh, and the dumplings were full of shrimp but the casing was a bit thick. My server was attentive and kind, and took very good care of me. We love coming here whenever we're craving a little sushi. We're big sushi fans, and the food is consistently good every single visit. The staff is friendly, the service is smooth, and the guys at the sushi bar are always super nice. It may be on the pricey side but I guess we expect that in a casino. I highly recommend this place. We went there (12 people) to celebrate two birthdays and we had an amazing time. We placed a reservation at 9:30 pm and as soon as we arrived, our table was ready. I've eaten sweet and sour chicken hundreds of times before so don't tell me it's supposed to be soggy because they fry it and add sauce to it. (Yes that's what the waiter told me when I asked him why it's soggy). If you fry it properly and add sauce it is still crunchy. However this was a soggy horrible chicken dish. Pretty solid Chinese and Japanese food. Enjoyed my oolong hot tea - although it was served MCD lawsuit hot and took a min to be drinkable without scalding your insides. The cashew chicken was fresh and looked good- but took a min for me to find the chicken buried in the sea of celery and onions.... I'd say about 22% chicken. Good amount of mushrooms and cashews though. The sweet and sour chicken looked good. Solid. Not the best I've had, but tasty enough. My avocado rolls (specialty order) were the same cost as the vegetable rolls $9 and were excellent although were small rolls (6). Very good though. I'd come here again. Our Vegas host proved himself as a foodie by making reservations in advance so we didn't have to wait long to feed our hungry bellies after hours window shopping at the Bass Pro Shop. Ondori means rooster in Japanese and they have a large painting of rooster along with a panda and a vintage geisha adorning a large wall. This is an Asian Kitchen that serves amazing Japanese and Chinese dishes. We started with a refreshing cucumber salad then ordered the Steamed Chicken with Ginger and Scallions, Mongolian Beef and Roasted Duck along with rice of course! I had the unforgettable pleasure of having roast duck in Hong Kong early this year and our order brought back the taste I savored! But unlike HK where I devoured half a duck, I had to share this dish with four other hungry men so I restrained myself. I was told Ondori's chefs came from Hong Kong. The beef was ok but the chicken dipped in ginger and scallion sauce was divine! We had to request for more of the sauce because we can't help completely drenching each bite of chicken in it! Our veteran (11+ years working for Ondori) Filipino servers superbly took care of us! With over 2500 restaurants in Las Vegas, this is one I will surely return to. Ridiculously slow, we waited 25 minutes on the phone for an order. So we walked down to the restaurant. The manager said they were busy. It was not busy at all. The man at the bar waiting for his food left after not getting any service except for a coke. We waited 10 minutes at the bar to get an order in. I just wanted an order of honey walnut shrimp and a half duck. The place is modern and clean. But the customer service and management is incredibly slow. What a disappointment. Management is incompetent. I've seen this CB place 10x as busy (please see picture). And then, they kept up with every line. The lady manager tonight was curt and unprofessional. She had no explanation for the delayed service or lack of professionalism. Trisha was not a good manager. The staff is fantastic but poorly managed, sorry to say. Confused that a woman would order a beer on tap, questioning 3 times if we're sure that's what we want. I asked if the Singapore noodles were spicy and he said no it's not. The Singapore noodles were way too spicy for my toddler to eat. He sends the other incorrect item back & brings me an embarrassingly skinny roll of sushi. All the other rolls I see the sushi chef making are thicker than what I got. I was at the Orleans last nighht for a show and decided to try Ondori. The previous Mexican restaurant here has been gone for many years. Ondori is the best of two worlds--a section of the menu contains Chinese Cantonese type dinners and another section contains the Japanese items. I went to the Japanese side and picked a variety of dishes. I started with spicy tuna on crispy rice. These were three rectangles of rice topped with spicy tuna, coated, and then deep fried. It was a good way to start. For my main course, I selcted two sushi items--a hand roll scallop and a cajun spicy shrimp (regular roll) curt into 10 pieces. The menu tells you how many pieces there are with the sushi rolls so you can gauge the amount of food you'er ordering. I finished with green tea ice cream, a good way to finish this Japanese meal. Sevice was top notch and dinner was very good. I really like the variety. It will bring me back for another visit. read more

This is a surprisingly solid and good Asian restaurant, especially for a Boyd property (they aren't known for having great food options, but this is by far the best restaurant on site at the Orleans hotel and casino). The prices are more than reasonable and the portions are extra large. They have Japanese and Chinese dishes, both traditional and modern fusion. You can find sushi, noodles, rice, all the greatest hits. Service is fast and the food is always tasty, especially for the price and the big portions. I ordered the Wonton soup only for the broth only because I was healing from food poisoning from a restaurant my family and I visited. On 5/25 my husband went to order the Wonton soup, but I only wanted the broth and they were more than helpful. The lady at the front was super helpful and was concerned about my well being, so she told my husband that the broth/soup would help my stomach settle. It sure did settle my stomach! I was immediately impressed with the modern Decour of the restaurant and its cleanliness. To start, we had a hot sake and wine, which was very reasonably priced for being so close to the strip. I had wonton soup for my appetizer and it was delicious. For my meal I had the sweet-and-sour chicken. It was a very generous portion and brown or white rice comes with it. My spouse had the beef and broccoli which he enjoyed. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. For two people with two glasses of wine, two appetizers, hot sake, and two full meals. My sister and I decided to give this restaurant a try before watching a movie. We had reservations for 5:30pm and we were seated promptly. Took about 10min for our server to come to our table. My sister wanted to try Sake for the 1st time so she asked our server to give her an idea of the different Sake on the menu. I even tried to put soy sauce and my husband duck sauce and still it wasn't as tasty. My husband loved the duck so we would eventually have to come back for that. Sometimes we'll try a new dish, but it's great that their menu can satisfy different cravings, so there's always something for everyone. The restaurant has plenty of seating and can accommodate decent-sized parties, which is a big plus for us. It can get a bit crowded at times, but you can always make a reservation to avoid the wait. There's lots of seating and I'm sure they can get crowded but we went between meal times so there was no wait. Their menu includes both Chinese and Japanese dishes so there is a lot to choose from. We ordered way too much food and the portions are big enough for family style so keep that in mind when ordering. Everything had great flavor & I enjoyed all of the dishes. We had 2 servers helping our group and both of them were very nice. But I do think they need more training on the menu. Ondori is one of the several restaurants in the Orlean's Hotel & Casino. It has a menu that has both Chinese and Japanese food. I can't say anything about the Japanese side of the menu, but their Chinese menu items are legit. We got the chasiu mein, beef & broccoli, and the garlic scallion chicken wings. The portions are good. The chasiu mein was pretty sizable with lots of chasiu and more than a single gai lan (chinese broccoli) in the bowl. The noodles were legit egg noods and the broth tasted right. If there was any comment, it was a little cloudy. The broth wasn't clear like the soups served back home in the SGV, but that bowl of noodles was some good stuff. Their Chinese food is SGV level legit. We were not expecting to find the same taste we'd expect back home. Naturally, being in an off-Strip hotel-casino instead of on Valley Blvd, the prices are a little higher-- maybe a few dollars more than usual. Like, $3 to $5 bucks more(?) The service and atmosphere are a bit more polished and upscale than your usual SGV Hong Kong cafe/Canto style restaurant. We also ordered an item from the Japanese section of the menu. I can't speak for the Alaska roll (salmon, avocado, and cucumber) we ordered but I was told it was pretty good; significantly better than something you'd find at a Ralph's super market. The decor is a little Asian "kitsch" but not too bad. Taste wise, I'm pretty sure someone who likes this style of Chinese food would be relieved that it's not the 1970s Chun King style of gringo-fied Chinese food. If you stay at the Orlean's and feel a hankerin' for some Canto/Hong Kong fare, you'd be fine with Ondori. Oh and unlike the HK/Canto joints, they have a full bar. read more

Their War Wonton Noodle Soup had a delicious mix of pork, shrimp, bok Choi, dumplings, and scallops. It was what I needed after a semi cold day around the strip. Price point was mid.
