Love it the food is great customer service is on point and it's a nice little place to go and eat surrounded by a very nice but busy area depending on the time of day you arrive but definitely worth it

    2. Chicken Katsu

Absolutely delicious and the best value for money! This place is on a whole different level compared to other teriyaki spots. Highly recommend!

    Salmon Teriyaki Lunch Special

This place is really close to my workplace, so I eat here almost weekly. The food is so good, and with their lunch specials you always get salad, pickled cabbage, a nice serving of white rice and your choice of meat for a decent price. Pictured below is the Salmon Teriyaki. It was well-cooked and tasty, but in my opinion not as good as their beef, chicken, chicken katsu, or shrimp. Being able to list several other options on the menu is a great sign though! Even though the salmon wasn't my favorite, it's still better than some other places in town. I love it here. It's always busy at lunch but the staff works hard to get your orders out in a timely manner!

Came here for the first time. I ordered 2 chicken teriyaki boxes, 1 teriyaki salmon, and 1 tempura meal. Food was ok. Price was decent. Service could've been better. First impression was not good- As soon as you finish ordering, if you tell the cashier you're paying with card, she automatically presses a bunch of buttons on the card reader and tells you to put in your card. But if you inspect it, you'd see she automatically added a 20% tip. Tip for what? This is not a fancy sit down restaurant, I'm not dining in, and I should have a say I'm how much I want to tip should I even choose to tip. I just don't like how it was done. The food portions are small. For the price of a whole entree at Chinese restaurants where you can get a whole box of protein, here the protein is about 1/4 of the box. The rest is heaps of rice and some cheap cabbage and lettuce. The quality of the little bits of protein was pretty good. I liked the chicken. I heard the salmon was good. The tempura was not good. The batter was very thick and greasy. All in all, it was convenient, but I'm not sure if I'd come back. I'd probably go to a nicer restaurant where you'd pay similar prices or maybe a few dollars more but receive much more protein.

Tried the number 10 which is a combo of two items between the options 1-9. Each entree comes with white rice, pickled cabbage, and a salad. I tried the crispy chicken (comes in a ball, similar to a meatball but with chunks of chicken thighs was a little saltier than I preferred) and the Thai chicken (small strips of chicken thigh with sauce). Each entree is served in a bento box, portion size is nice and it was very filling. Service was fast and patient while scanning the menu, ambiance was nice great playlist playing in background, typical hole in the wall (in a good way) establishment. When I return I'll try the chicken Katsu for sure!

Katsu Ya Ton Ton is excellent. I made plans to meet a friend for lunch and wanted to try this place. Easy access from Durango just North of Warm Springs on the West side of the street. Ample parking, but the place itself (you can see from the photos) isn't large and they don't take reservations. We aimed to be there for 12:30P lunch figuring we'd just be the lunch crowd. I arrived a little early and they were already full up! The place is popular and with good reason. I added our part of 2 to the list and we waited maybe 10 minutes. So cute and authentic inside. Tables turned over fairly quickly. The staff is super friendly and efficient. They were there to guide and help us with menu choices and offer recommendations. I went with the pork katsu set that included soup, rice, piles of shredded cabbage, my main pork cutlet, and some pickles. The cabbage and soup is AYCE which was a nice offering though I didn't need it. I also got salmon poke with yuzu which was tart and so fresh. Recommended. My lunch date order Katsu Chicken Curry. The food is outstanding. Every bite elicited a "Mmm" from me as the soup broth was deep and savory. The pork was perfectly cooked, crispy outside, juicy and tender on the inside. I love the shredded cabbage. Their Katsu sauce is delicious and you get to grind your own sesame seeds which impart a crazy delicious, nutty texture. The Katsu Chicken Curry was also excellent. I would struggle next time to pick one over the other. There are plenty of places to find Katsu but none compare to Katsu Ya Ton Ton for perfecting this really tasty dish. Highly recommended!

We went during weekday lunch and there were around 4 other tables with diners. We got the premium AYCE since we wanted to try the special items. Service was attentive and proactive. Our orders came within minutes of placing the order. The salmon, tuna and other fish were fresh though the uni was a bit slimier (probably since it's still out of season). Having ordered most of the special dishes, I can say that their AYCE provides very good value for the ingredients and dishes included. Their selection and variety of dishes is also hard to beat. However, the sushi rice was really poor quality - undercooked which made it tougher to chew, was long grain (not Japanese short-grained rice used for sushi) and did not have the stickiness nor sourness of proper vinegared rice. The Japanese word "sushi" translates literally to sour rice referring to the vinegared rice which is the foundation of the nigiri sushi. Because of how critical the rice is to sushi and rolls, I can only give Daisho 3 stars at most until they learn how to cook sushi rice. We provided the feedback to the restaurant staff so we truly hope they take the feedback seriously and improve it. It's not that hard to cook Japanese sushi rice. Worst case, the restaurant should invest in a Zojirushi rice cooker that will cook it perfectly every time.

You can get sandwiches, rice plates with, tonkatsu and chicken katsu and sukiyaki. Miso soup and salads and much more. But if you want sweet they have soft serve, parfaits and frappes to satisfy your sweet tooth! My friend and I came here for breakfast and I wanted something not too heavy so I went with a Hojicha float with vanilla soft serve and their shrimp avocado sando. I usually just get the Hojicha parfait with mochi but it was kinda too early for that. My friend ordered a matcha latte with the sukiyaki don with soup. My Hojicha float was loaded with vanilla soft serve and the regular size was pretty big. The soft serve was smooth and creamy and paired well with the Hojicha latte. Couldn't go wrong with that, but I felt guilty for having something sweet like that in the morning lol. The shrimp sandwich wasn't that good for the price they were charging. It was almost $10. The avocado spread didn't taste fresh and was browning and the shrimp was mainly on top of sandwich. I should've ordered a more savory bowl instead bc damn! That sandwich was disappointing. My friend enjoyed her order of the matcha latte with the sukiyaki don. She had mentioned it's her go-to order, since she's a LV local. I wish I had more time in Vegas to order a parfait here but we had so many other places to hit on my short visit. This shop is pretty big and spacious, a good place to study and hang out with friends. Plenty of seating and they have a restroom in the back. We went on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all. Ordered took a bit to come out tho. Overall, love nana's! Extra brownie points here because they serve food, but think before getting their shrimp sandwich. They know how to whip up some good matcha and Hojicha lattes and soft serves! Service was decent here, and prices are reasonable. The prices have been pretty consistent with all the other nana shops I've been to. Check them out if you love Hojicha and matcha!
