I went to Sojourn nails with a few of my coworkers after attending a conference. Our experiences were all amazing. The receptionist Lisa was very accommodating to get us all in despite being walk ins and having no appointments. We all wanted different services and she made it happen for us in a very timely manner! My nail technician was Michelle-who was so detail oriented and made my nails look incredible! The salon is very new and very clean. They brought me wine and even gave me a neck massage while I waited for dip top coat to dry. I wish I lived here because this would be my new salon, but I'm just in town visiting! Everyone should go and check out the ambiance if they want a nice nail experience. read more

Ok so after reading the reviews I decided to try this place since I live right next to it .. I requested Amy and my appointment was confirmed . Upon arrival they asked me if I would let someone else do it. The technician was very kind and also the girl doing my pedicure was nice . I paid 115 for a dip mani and basic pedicure (15 in tips ). Nothing blew me away about the drinks or even how rushed they both did my nails and pedicure (I've easily had better) the kicker was that within 2 days six of my nails were broken . I called and they said he could fix them but I feel like I would just be disappointed again as I knew from the moment he finished that they would break.. the manager on duty was also highly disengaged (they kept asking her to serve wine and she acted so annoyed to be bothered) I'm highly dissatisfied . Oh well! I dont want or need anything comped or for free I would just save someone else for paying what I did and not being wowed at all especially given the reviews on yelp ! read more

First time trying this place out, walked over from my apartment on a Sunday afternoon. No wait and beautifully decorated place. Got the express shellac mani with Annie and am super happy! I went to this nail shop October 23rd. I had made a appointment. I arrived late due to I had just moved in this area and got lost. I arrived there and it was only one person getting a pedicure. They asked did I have a appointment and I said yes. They said you are late and I said yes and explained why. No biggie... I got my nails done. I had a powder refill as I broke my nail while moving. She kept burning me while removing the previous powder..... So my nails were done and I left. My nails were cute, I will say. But it was short lived... On October 27th, only 4 days later.... My nail powder chipped in the corner. Then today October 28th, only 5 days later, another nail powder chipped. I have never in my 30 plus years of life had this happen where my powder chipped... I would not recommend from this experience. I will try them again in the future as the staff were nice and pleasant, I hope they can do better next time. read more

I went in for a mani/pedi and wax for eyebrows and lip. The two people who did my nails did a great job. I was pleased. However, when it came to the wax job, I was unintentionally burned pretty bad. The lady knew it burned me, because she asked if it was burning. I thought it burned more so than usual but didn't think anything about until I got home. It was horrendous. The next day I reached out to the manger, and he (Philip) responded. He was remorseful and acknowledged the wax was for sensitive skin; but, mentioned when in conjunction with a strong moisturizer, your skin is thin and can be damaged. I realized that's what had happened. I stupidly got waxed not even thinking because I don't often get waxed. He offered a complimentary mani/pedi, which in return was very nice and considerate. I took him on that offer few weeks later . The ladies once again did a great job on the nails. The owner (Lisa) never acknowledged what had happened via email or when I returned (not sure if that's a business thing or she didn't care to). Either way, it would have been nice for her to say something. While getting the mani/pedi she whispered to one of the ladies- I was the one who got burned. Which I didn't care, yeah I was the one they burned; but, it was awkward seeing the workers talk about me. Overall, the company came through with a complimentary service. The burn above my eyes healed; but, I do have a scar above my lip from it. The ladies do a wonderful job on the nails and the place is in a great location if you reside in the midtown area. read more

Came here a few weeks ago for pedicure. The pedicure itself was great, a little pricy, but I'm impressed regardless. I love the idea of this salon. I like that the products used didn't irritate my skin as has happened before at previous nail salons. However, coming in here I felt a little out of place. The lady doing my nails was sweet, but I felt like she rushed through mine because her friend came in for a pedicure from her. Once her friend came in, she completely stopped talking to me and focused on her. I just feel like some of the employees here made me feel like I didn't belong in this salon. The investor, I don't remember his name, was very welcoming on the other hand, but none of the other employees even tried to converse with me. I'd return if it weren't for that. As for the pedicure, the paint didn't chip and still hasn't. Lotions used at other salons sometimes irritate my legs, but this one didn't. Update: After writing this, I was privately messaged by the investor that my bad experience was because of my doing and asked to take down my review since it's their only "non five-star review". I most definitely will not be returning here after this. I would rather take my business somewhere where customer service is a factor rather than what their business looks like or in other words, money. I'm not stingy. I've updated bad reviews to 5 stars previously based on a second experience, but that will not be happening here. My business is as good as anyone else's, and I believe I deserve to be treated the same as anyone else who comes here. read more

Found out who was responsible for the work and requested his ass when I scheduled an appt lol. His name is Vu! My guy! He's soooo nice and does an amazingggg job. Everyone working there was so nice I've worked in the hospitality industry myself for awhile now so my expectations are pretty high when it comes to customer service. I would come back to an establishment with mediocre products but stellar service than go back to great products but bad service. Any day. Amazing! Although I was a walk-in, I was seen right away. The place was clean and decorated beautifully. Atmosphere was really relaxing and everyone there was so friendly. They take the time to make conversation with you if you want to talk, but if you want to nap.. you can do that too. They also offer a variety of beverages. It is a little more on the pricier side, but that comes from using good quality products to further take care of you. I loved the mini massage that came with my mani-pedi, it was much needed. On the plus side, my nails came out looking super nice and cute! Definitely worth the visit, so treat yourself. :) read more

My colleagues and I were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to treat ourselves to a mani/pedi. The salon is lovely and decorated nicely. The staff was extremely friendly, had me and my colleagues seated quickly. The experience relaxing and I felt very pampered. The woman who gave me the mani/pedi did a great job. The owners were present and gave great service as well by telling us about the products they used and offered us some wine. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
