I came from out of town to get my nails done here and I will be back I loved the services I received pedi white French and full set mani with jewels. I'm not sure what the lady that did my feet's name is but DominiQue did my nails and I loveeeeeeeee it so much. I highly recommend.

I live in NY so I'm used to paying $15-20 for a manicure. Steep Houston prices aside, this is a lovely salon. I got a very thorough, meticulous manicure with a lovely oil massage AND got to choose between Kheils and Origins creams. The salon is beautiful, clean, and the service is great. Also the whopping price tag of a $30 manicure does come with a complementary drink!

I love my new color! The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet. One of the employees provided us a drink menu where you can have wine, water or soda it made me feel like I was at home. Our hotel spa was fully booked and they recommended this location and I'm very glad that they did. they were able to get me and my sister in for a pedicure and manicure we were in and out. During our pedicure, we both dozed off and fell asleep because it was soooo relaxing

I've visited this salon multiple times over the past year. But they've started adding extra unnecessary fees, so I will not be back. On this last visit, I requested a full set with dip powder and extensions ($55). They charged me an extra $5 for "long nails". These are NOT long. If someone is getting a full set, I can't imagine that they could be any shorter than this! To make it worse, she didn't communicate the extra charges until she was done (I was also charged another $5 for the shape). Just set the base price at $60 instead of nickel and dime-ing customers.

This is my second time at this salon and I love it! Everyone is so friendly and Rachel does amazing with my nails. Love this place it's well priced and has a boutique feel to it!

Booked an appointment and was sent a text to confirm the appointment. The tech did a really good job and was detailed oriented. I got the classic manicure with gel polish ($50) and enjoyed the massage. It wasn't rushed and she took her time with it. They had a lot of colors and would definitely go back.

This place is adorable and right in the middle of downtown. 2 minute walk from my hotel actually. I was in town for a wedding and my pedicure needed a refresh. A quick Google and this place was in walking distance. It's not the biggest place with only 4 stations and 5 pedicure stations. But it's so cute it doesn't matter. Now the small size is why they told me originally they were all booked till 4 30 when I tried a walkin. It was a Saturday so I was taking a risk. I put my name on the list and went back to the hotel. To my surprise they called back sooner than I expected and I got right in for a pedicure. Pedicure was great and my polish has lasted over 3 weeks now and it's not gel. Along with the cute space they offer tou sparkling water which if you know me then you know they had Me at sparkling water. I'd definitely recommend this place to Houston natives and visitors alike

Transparent color - not well ground down so edges are bubbly and not growing out elegantly.

I am not sure what to think about my one experience at Sojourn. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, called ahead if I could walk in and was told to make an appointment, which I made for 60 minutes later. The door says walk-ins welcome and there was 1 other person getting a pedicure. Hm. This salon is downtown so like most of downtown parking is an issue. I called back when I was in the area to see where I could park and was told they have 2-3 spaces in the North Garage, but to pay for metered street parking, which I did. I was very warmly greeted, as in, the salon was 77 degrees. It was a nice Houston day outside and as I fanned and sweated through most of my appointment I could tell they didn't want to run the AC. The actual mani was okay: the color of the dip I chose was very far off from the color sample. Additionally, the color was thin and after many dips, the technician was ready to move on but I could see through my nail still, so I asked for more to get the color. She obliged, but later skipped out on filing the edges down so I left feeling like I paid $50 and a $10 tip for a lumpy, large bubble of dip that is not growing out elegantly. The color is still transparent so I have to assume the premium dip product they use is expired or not as good a quality as expected. Downtown salons are hard to come by so likely I'll keep looking for my place in the Heights where many new places are open. I did not have any massage offered but was offered a drink.

The eyebrow wax job in question

Nail broke but they have a 5 day policy and Rachel was such a doll she got me all fixed up.

Enjoyed the service at this nail salon. Hanah was very professional, listened to what I wanted, and my nails turned out great. Highly recommend her if you go here!

Everything at this salon has an add charge that was not explained or noted prior to the service. So it is what it is.. is the attitude. The techs were mostly fine-- though both girls needed their finger fixed multiple times. The designs were not done correctly, it was a whole thing. There wasn't much that could physically be done to make it right because it was closing and the techs left. But the guys at the front desk were less than helpful and basically tried to convince me the cost of the supplies is what warranted the +$15 +$20 +$10. A $5 discount for an outing that was suppose to be memorable for two little girls was ruined when they couldn't execute the SIMPLE vision and then the solution was "it is what it is". If you come here on the regular, I applaud you for navigating the system. As a new comer we are definitely a once and never again.

I'm by no means a high maintenance nail girl, in fact I never paint my finger nails but I try my best to keep up with pedicures on a semi-regular basis. The salon is definitely no thrills but the ladies are all very sweet and do high quality work. Even if the salon is busy, they take their time to ensure no step is skipped or done with less than full effort. I always get just a regular pedicure ($33) and it comes with a soak, cuticle trim, nail file, heal exfoliation, a short lotion lower leg massage, two coats of polish, and a top coat. They always make sure that you take the necessary time to dry before leaving. Each station has a massager chair for extra relaxation and guests are offered a cold soda or water at the beginning of their appointment. Over the past year that I have been coming, I can tell that there are a lot of regular customers which is great to see. You shouldn't anticipate trouble getting a walk in appointment, however it's a nice courtesy to call before driving over to ensure that they have someone who can see to you. Overall, I'm definitely a fan and will continue to visit!

There are plenty of color options to choose from, and they even had the latest cat eye trend add-ons. It's been 3 weeks and my gel nails have not yet lifted, which is a really good sign. The ambience is not the most relaxing, however, and the volume from the staff conversations got a bit too loud for me at times, but the pricing is very reasonable! I'll be coming back for more manis :)

I later saw on her Instagram story that she had an opening at 3:30 she was trying to fill. Had anyone bothered to contact me -- a call, a text, an email, anything -- I could have slid into that slot or taken my business to Adore Nails or Memorial Nail Care, both of which maintain a full staff capable of doing amazing designs. Instead, I received zero communication. I showed up to my appointment only to be told they don't honor that particular nail technician's bookings and that their systems haven't been updated to reflect that. So you're actively allowing clients to book a specific technician through your online portal, knowing full well those preferences will be ignored? That's not a miscommunication -- that's a scam- a bait and switch. The available staff could not do designs, which I was fully aware of -- which is exactly why I chose this technician specifically. I was left with no real options and settled for a plain manicure. My cuticles were done well, but my "oval" nails are not oval, and my gel is visibly bumpy -- not a smooth finish in sight. I could have done better myself. Unfortunately I didn't have the time, which is precisely why I booked with someone I knew would make it worth it -- only to be completely ignored. Fix your booking system. Contact your clients when there's a change. Don't advertise a service you have no intention of honoring. Your front desk girl is very patient, very sweet, and was very apologetic. She should not have had to apologize for what is clearly a failure of management.
